Fantastic meal, waiting friendly and very efficient. Venue had ample parking, was very clean and well maintained, highly recommended as a party venue.

Hotel is getting a little ‘tired’ but the staff were great, the food exceptionally good and the rooms comfortable. Two very hot (weather wise) days on the courses enjoyed by our group of 8 players.

Both golf courses are in excellent condition. Room was lovely and spacious. Food is good.

Just had a fantastic girly night away here. Food was delicious, staff were amazing — they accommodated all of our requirements very easily. Highly recommended. 5

We’ve just returned from a one night break celebrating my great friends 60th. We had a fabulous spacious ground floor room with patio doors, all staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. Food was just amazing, we enjoyed a swim and sauna on both days all to ourselves, would highly recommend a break here.

Just fantastic… two amazing golf courses, manicured to perfection and great fun to play! Relatively basic room but perfectly relaxing, clean & hot showers. Really good food and excellent staff — nothing too much 5

Well a lovely 3 days away. Hotel and staff really nice, courses in good order considering the weather we have had.
Food was brilliant considering how they are having to work. Just one moan, no buggies on last day due to large society. Need to think about your customers as well!

My boyfriend and I had the perfect stay last night at the Dale Hill. Lovely spacious room + bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, lots of choice. We even got to enjoy an empty pool & sauna. Will definitely be back!

Good value and two good golf courses.

Boyfriend booked us a night away here for our anniversary, had a 3 course meal which was absolutely amazing, so was the breakfast, the room & views were beautiful and all of the staff were so helpful & friendly. Would love to come back again.

Stayed last night for a work Christmas meal with disco. Fantastic food last night and large selection available for breakfast this morning. Rooms spotless, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from a 1 night stay. It was my husbands birthday and there were lits of surprises for him along the way. The staff were second to none helping me keep the surprises for him, friendly and helpful. Sam in the pro shop was fantastic, friendly and helpful! we had alot of fun! the food was amazing with quick service and drinks reasonably priced. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff here. The only thing I could possibly fault was the hotel its self is in need of a refurb.

Very nice and clean hotel. On dinner time we was waiting for starters 30 minutes then for main after starters 45 minutes! on the end thay even didn't ask how was dinner or if is everything it's fine, just ignoring. Not really professional.

Spent the night here whilst attending a concert. I wish I'd booked 2 nights. Not enough time to enjoy the hotel.

Not sure I should be advertising what a fantastic hidden gem this place is, as they might put their prices up! Plentyful tasty food, clean & immaculate rooms, nice leisure pool with an adequate gym. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. We stayed with our 2 year old and couldnt wish for a more accommodating family friendly hotel, with a splash of class. (2nd stay)

Beautiful very British estate, typical country building, furnished a bit old but clean.

Only used the driving range as the guest of a member. Facilities are slightly dated but very functional. The club appears to offer frequent competitions (bi monthly 3 club tournaments, for example). Location is fine, although currently blocked off by gas works maintenance in Ticehurst.

It was a great place to stay and we'll be going back also would recommend it to anybody all staff are friendly and welcoming.

I enjoyed a very relaxing early afternoon Father’s Day 4 ball with my 3 sons. Course is very welcoming with good facilities and a pretty good practice area, £5 for 50 balls.
For higher handicappers it’s a long haul, if you opt for the Woosnam course it’s a little more forgiving, and after 18 holes you’ll certainly know about it. The course is very picturesque with some well thought out holes. In the main a really enjoyable golf course that’s well maintained track and worth a visit.

Stayed here as we were working in the new hotel. The people here are great and beautiful grounds, the main building is very clean but needs a little update.

From booking to leaving a great experience, we had the executive suite which had a balcony over looking the golf course, room was huge and a 6ft bed which was so comfy.
Had scones and clotted cream and got drink on arrival.
In the evening we had a delicious 2 course meal in the small dining room as we were the only two eating.
Considering they had 2 separate parties on site we still had a bar mainly too ourselves.
Breakfast was a buffet type lots of choice to choose from some of the food could of been a tad hotter but was still good.
I was going to mark you down just because of the shower the water trickled out so you had too stand against the wall of the shower cubicle to get wet so was unable to wash hair which would of been a problem if I had stayed more than 1 night
You have a fantastic hotel keep up the good work will definitely try and stay again and would recommend.

I only went here for a drink with a friend. It was very relaxed.

DO NOT BOTHER STAYING HERE IF YOU WANT ATMOSPHERE AND A FULL NIGHTS SLEEP! We booked this hotel as our first night away from our newborn hoping to get a full nights sleep — we were so excited! The rooms were modern but the rest of the hotel lacked atmosphere and all that was present was some golfers. Dinner was in a room without any music and no atmosphere. We decided to go to bed as there wasn't anything else we could do apart from sit in the bar alone however, unfortunately, we didn't manage to get much sleep due to the noise of people fighting. We were woken up 3 times in the night between 1am — 5am (more than with our newborn) we called the night clerk who knocked on their door and told them to be quiet however the door banging and shouting in the corridor continued. Obviously we were extremely disappointed paying £120 for our room… as compensation we were offered a night in the hotel but we would have to pay £60! for an additional £30 we could of taken up the offer on their website and had afternoon tea and dinner included. We told the general manager who insisted this was a reasonable offer… extremely disappointed guest!

Nice rooms, not very clean though. Heating was stuck on full blast, swimming pool and gym are tiny but decent food in the restaurant.

Went here for a Christmas meal, didn't start off well due to hitting my car on their low brick wall that had no reflectors and was not visibly due to an incline and being blinded by the sun and no road markings on where to go. Manager started off quite harsh considering I was shaken up with the shock, but then understood what I was getting at. He gave me his business card and then said they would contribute to damages as was told by many staff that this is a common accident which was obvious due to other people's car headlights around the low wall (Hazzard alart! ). Guess what? … the manager is now denying all. After this shock I went to the meal, Well if you like uncooked vegetables and sprouts that you could use a golf balls and eat before you went. You will be fine. If you have booked already then goodluck!

Woosie is a special course. Staff are helpful and courteous. Always enjoy my time at Dale Hill.

Lovely facilities, very modern, clean, possibly yet to develop 'character'. Staff were nice, helpful, & slightly thin on the ground. Very affordable for the level of luxury.

Massive golf club hotel. Rooms are clean and satisfactory but if you are a heavy internet user the Wi-Fi vouchers are annoying though free. Has a small gym and pool which includes a sauna. Bar food is not great but the restaurant has a couple of rosettes.

Its a golf hotel so don't expect too much but is nicely decorated and has food and drink to go along with that. Of course there is a golf course as well.

Golf course and facilities excellent, meal afterwards, they could do better. Chicken with a curry sauce and roast potatoes!

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful grounds. Amazing full English breakfast with fantastic nature views. The heating is a bit of a problem in the evening.

Lovely venue. Shame we cant take out room over until after the wedding has started though.

Went here for afternoon tea a short while back. Very pleasant location just outside Ticehurst. Excellent tea with a decent selection of fresh sandwiches, scones and cakes. Service at the bar a little slow but otherwise a very pleasant time was had by all and we shall probably be going back.

Phoned the hotel to check availability, not even a thank you or goodbye … very poor customer service skills for such a lovely hotel.

Spa part bit naff rooms a bit tired but ok food very good.

Just been on a 2 day golf weekend with work colleagues. The golf course was excellent and recommend it. However, the hotel wasn't that great. The main issue we had was that none of us had any hot water in our rooms because the boiler had packed up we were told by an apologetic receptionist. She did apologise and suggested we shower in the men's locker room, however which is as far as it went. We weren't offered any compensation or discount, however when I said that I wanted to complain she gave me the managers card. So we will be definitely contacting the hotel manager soon with a complaint. Apart from that the food was OK, a bit pricey. The service was ok, nothing special, I had to wait over half an hour the next day in the bar to receive my order of a burger with chips which wasn't good. I would definitely play golf there again however I wouldn't stay there again, probably book into a local b&b next time. I have just found out that we have been offered compensation as a result of our experience which is good.

Everything was first class, hotel was lovely, staff couldn't do enough for you, food and service both brilliant, will definitely be back!.
