Fantastic carvery! Just had a beautiful meal in the carvery, my 99 yr old grandmother was thoroughly looked after by the efficient and friendly staff — we will definitely be returning for another meal. Thankyou restaurant staff!

The hotel and staff are excellent. We stayed here with our newborn son for our honeymoon and the staff made it a very special stay for us, catering to all our needs. It is one of the best hotels we have been to and we have been to many. We will remember our first family hotel with lots of happy memories! Thank you for all your help!

Great value, pleasant staff and lovely breakfast (well cooked not over done) with a nice continental selection too. Room is clean and comfortable, mine had a balcony table bit aswell which was nice. Nothing flashy but certainly comfortable. Highly recommend for a stay in Rye if looking for somewhere good value and pleasant. Also very close to centre and the night manager kindly watched my bike for me indoors where it was safe.

Lovely dining room excellent carvery. Short walk from hubub of Rye town or Winchelsea Beach to riverside Haven of calm.

Very nice place within the town centre. Good private car park. Nice and tasty breakfast with a lovely quiet room, and yes I would return to the Hotel.

Lovely hotel the staff go out of there way to be helpful, they even got me a card and chocolates on my birthday. I would recommend the hotel to anyone especially on special occasions we had a lovely room very comfatable maybe the mattress was a bit hard but apart from that lovely relaxing weekend can't wait to go back.

I went to the Riverhaven for Christmas dinner with my family, I must say how lovely it was and that everyone really enjoyed their food, the staff were very friendly and looked after us very well, I would highly recommend it there, will definitely be returning.

Spent one night at the river haven hotel my only regret was that I never stayed longer. Cant fault this hotel from the minute we booked in til the minute we departed, lovely warm welcome on reception from judith, room spotlessly clean and comfortable with a cracking river view, lovely small touches to the room including bottled water, tea and coffee facilities, including caffeine free products which was a god send as i'm caffeine intolerant, breakfast the next day was served by a lovely lady I think her name was kay or kate (sorry) so friendly and chatty really made our dining a lovely experience and even the chef came out and chatted think his name was jason or jay (sorry) the full english breakfast was piping hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection and great selection of continental selection also available set out on a table to help yourself, all the staff we met during our stay were very helpful and informative and made our stay even more pleasant, great location within walking distance to rye. Overall a lovely hotel and will definitely be back.

Our second visit. Hotel tidy and very clean, a little on the tired side. Great friendly staff and brilliant chef. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The chef's peppercorn sauce is a must. Good parking with nice walk into town. Would recommend.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very impressed with the River Haven hotel. Reception staff were very efficient and helpful as were the staff in the dining room. Our room was very clean and comfortable. This was our second visit and we certainly hope to stay at the River Haven again, maybe next year.

Have just had 3 nights bed and breakfast here. The room and facilities were very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate here for 2 of the evening's and the food was excellent, would definitely recommend the lamb shank. Plenty of choice for breakfast. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from Rye so was well positioned to get to the town. Would certainly go back to stay again.

Situated close to town. Beautiful views of the river at the restaurant. Varied rooms in prices due to vista. Has a bar and restaurant.

The hotel is situated right next to the river a 5-minute walk to the centre of the old town. It's a family run hotel and nice for that. The family room was a good size and well decorated. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom was a good size and clean. The restaurant / bar is basic although the food we had was good. The chips in particular were some of the best I've eaten. On the whole good family stay and I'd stay again.

There was a lovely feel to it and it was like being invited into a house (it had a really home kind of feel) instead of a hotel the service was great as well as the staff Definately 5 star.
