Our room is nicely decorated & very clean. Hotel staff are very helpful & friendly. Food is very good & reasonably priced.

To grubby, dirty skirting boards all the way up to premier rooms 116 to 118, probably hadn't been cleaned since last lockdown, no Internet, no fridge,, hardly anywhere to place underclothes, poor quality toilet paper, £140 a night for basic amenities.

Great food and service and very reasonable.

A perfectly located hotel, very comfortable, clean, and friendly. Good parking (once I found it).

Spent bank holiday here, dog friendly, attentive staff, room service at no extra charge, modern bathroom, right on the seafront couldn't ask for more! Will stay again and 110% recommendable.

We stayed here August 2020 and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless and modern. We had breakfast one morning which was top quality using local produce. Only thing I would change, is it was my birthday and we tried to reserve a table for dinner and were told they didn't take reservations. When we came down at 6.30pm the restaurant was full so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. I wonder if it would be possible to reserve tables for guests as well as a table or two on the sun terrace, which is fabulous but again we didn't get to use as it was full of day trippers. Other than that don't hesitate to stay here, I'll certainly be back. Well Done to all the staff.

As a visitor for a coffee and lunch. Food was lovely. Coffee lovely… table service and clearing of tables very slow. Was hoping for a second drink yet no one came even though it was table service only. Would visit again though.

Been here one day so far and the staff are so friendly the food is great and Even room service is great they just have a smile on their face always, I will say this is a great place to stay.

Always good service and wonderful food from their dinner menu which they adjusted for our needs. They also have incredible cider on tap! Made our Easter Sunday a special day, thanks to the staff of the White Rock Hotel. ❤️

We Have stayed a few times over the past year. The staff are friendly & efficient. It's quite pricey to stay here in a sea view room, but a well placed hotel with a sun terrace & with the theatre next door & a just a short walk to town. It's always our choice even though dogs are very visible.

Nice intimate theatre. Some seats are a squeeze, limited leg room. Good view of the stage wherever you sit.

Well worth a visit to view the shows. We visited to watch the White Rock Youth Theatre show of Grease and it was fantastic. The kids were brilliant and put on a great show. Would recommend a visit if you are in town.

My wife and I are regulars at the white Rock we enjoy the shows and the atmosphere of the theatre and the staff are very friendly. It has a great bar and restaurant.

Went to see Tom Chaplin, had an absolute blast! The best bit was my wife meeting him after the gig made all her dreams come true! A night I'll never forget!

If u r a able body person u will b able to get about. There is no access for wheel chairs. The lift is a joke and the hotel has no air con. The rooms smell of musty and if u pay extra like we did for a sea view b prepared for no sleep. The noise is really bad so had to shut the window only to become too hot. There is a air con portable unit which is no more that an air fan. The food is poor and drinks over priced. The staff are friendly and the hotel is generally clean. Would never stay there again even if it was free.

Great traditional theatre. Beverages are reasonably priced. Spacious entrance with wheelchair access. Venue is a good size and pretty much any seats gets you a great view. Only thing I would say is there's only one lot of toilets so you spend your whole interval queing for the loo.

Lovely venue, brilliant location from the station. Medium sized womens bathroom which seemed to cater well to the sold out show I was seeing. Did not try and purchase anything when I was there so cannot comment. Seats reasonably comfortable.

Been there a couple of times. Not bad. Could do with a refurbishment. Loads of shows on every week.

The venue is good — excellent views from all angles. Right opposite the pier, too, so that's a bonus. Facilities good, too. Bar expensive (White Rock hotel next door much cheaper! ).

Beautiful theatre, always lots going on ranging from operas to comedy to musicians, I always have a good experience when I'm here.

I've been to a few shows here over the years and it's the perfect theatre experience, there's no parking but plenty of road parking just behind the theatre itself.

Always a good atmosphere very friendly. Prefer it to Eastbourne theatre's Easy parking. If you arrive early. Bar and restaurant good venue. Drinks bit pricey, But usual for theatre Good restaurants close by.

Lovely hotel right on the sea front. Elegant decor in room, sea view, both bathroom and bedroom clean and bed was comfy! Great service and breakfast was lovely. Child and dog friendly. … Will stay again and have already recommended to friends. It was a bit too warm in room for me although heating off and Windows open.

We went to see Fairy g in christmas patio. Very old place kids enjoyed show. prices bit dear. Worst bit was £5 for popcorn which they dont tell u its salted it was disgusting and waste of £5

A fantastic "local theatre" which punches significantly above it's weight. Great facilities and friendly staff with an outstanding range of performances.

Went to see Barry white show last night. It was fabulousthe girls in the first half were superb and Barry white man had the place rocking! Loads of dancing was done… well done white rock!

Lots of different shows to see. It’s a local theatre and needs support. They have a huge variety of shows on the light the year. Big theatre with bars and food. Doesn’t have a bespoke car park so plan ahead if you are driving as the parking spaces outside quickly fill up. Reasonable prices. If you can please go and support them.

A good theatre that needs local support. As a Friends of the WHie Rock member I enjoy good discounts on tickets for shows and events as well as not having to pay a booking fee — As there are 6 of us we cover the cost of membership attending just one show so a bonus when there are several shows we like throughout the year.

Always a pleasure, the show was great and All the staff were very cheerful and helpful.

I performed here before, it is a nice theatre set by the sea and near the pier but could perhaps have a refurbishment. When you come here, I recommend to go to one of the restaurants along the seafront as it is a nice way to conclude the day.

Watched a good show there jive talkin bee gees tribute act they were very impressive.

Staying here with the wife and dog for a few days, absolutely fantastic staff so friendly in one of the newly renovated rooms, lovely sea views, will definitely come back here absolute there’s dog friendly and then there’s this place absolutely nuts about dogs even had a breakfast he did.

Great old school venue, food is good, great character and charm.

Went to see our house. The show was fantastic so full of energy great music and dancers were full on. Absolute entertainment. The cast actually looked like they were enjoying it.

Plenty of shows put on regularly. Was a bit warm on the night we went and parking can be a problem.

Lovely place for a real treat. Lots on. A bit pricey if you have a family to take there. I've started to treat the family there for the Christmas pantomimes.

Attended a wedding reception here and it was a great venue. Buffet had a lot of choice and the food was delicious. Recommended.

The white rock hotel, not having stayed I cannot comment on overnight/rooms etc. However, the food, drinks and location is great. Location, overlooks Hastings pier. When the sun shines you can sit outside soaking up the sea view. Watching the world go by. Being a beer drinker they stock a varied (four last time I went) on tap ales. All local. Food is very good value and size portions. In all a very enjoyable place to visit. Staff are also very helpful and polite. Recommended.

Lovely hotel, very dog friendly, nice rooms, pleasant staff and comfortable beds. About 10 minutes walk from the nicest part of Hast, but not a terrible area. Right opposite the dog friendly beach.

I have only ever used the restaurant and bar here, so I am not sure what the rooms are like. The food is ok. It has a great outdoor area at the front which is nice in the sunshine. It is right next door to the Theater, The Sorce indoor skate park and the newly re-opened Hastings Pier. They also have good function rooms.

Very relaxed setting. Menu has good selection and great value. Looking forward to when the sun comes out and we can sit outside.

The Café Bar is a great place to eat and in summers, watch the world go by from the seafront terrace. Good selection of light meals, excellent beers many from breweries within 20 miles of the hotel and an extensive wine list. Highly recommended.

A great hotel, relaxed staff and a lovely welcome. The rooms are clean, crisp white sheets on a comfortable bed and luxurious pillows. The bar and restaurant are a bonus with simple, yet delicious meals and well pulled real ales. I'll definitely be back.
