Really lovely to walk into such a friendly, welcoming hotel. Ate in the restaurant. Staff incredibly attentive and great food. Couldn’t have asked for more. Totally aware about Covid and keen to reassure us about the steps being taken.

Fab service from start to finish! I ordered an afternoon tea for my mum's birthday and it was lovely! the cakes tasted absolutely delish (the lemon drizzle was as good as my mum's :-) ) looking forward to coming back to you xx.

Kind hearted and wonderful that loves it's community. Amazing views and clean and tidy. Simply cannot ask for more.

Great staff very friendly service, staff cod not do enough for you. It was clean and tidy throughout and the food we received for the Elvis event was lovely and very filling.

Am currently staying here and have to say it is so so lovely! Staff ate so friendly and welcoming. Our room is stunning. Great quality fittings and furniture… fantastic shower. And a bed that I want to buy! so comfy and relaxing. Breakfast was spot on, great variety of food to choose from and again, great staff.
Will DEFINITELY visit again.

Great place! Has all the charm of a traditional seaside hotel. On the doorstep is the beach, all the local amenities and it’s a short walk up the road to Beachy Head and the downs. The friendly staff who can not do enough for you! The room was fantastic, spacious and clean. Can’t wait for my next visit!

New wilmington hotel based in quite street very close to the beach walking distance to town centre and everything else. Hall and reception very nice decorated, staff all nice and smiling. Family room spacious, clean, beds are comfy and its got tea and coffee in the room. Room been cleaned every day. And the main point is breakfast is very delicious and freshly made. After all is very good hotel and I would definitely recommend it. We had very lovely 4 day stay with family. Keep it up New Wilmington!

Only stayed 1 night but the hotel was lovely and our room was great. Only problem was TV did not tune in which was at most frustrating and everytging else was fab. Look firward to going back.

Only stayed 1 night as had a private function to attend, the room was lovely, everything looked brand new; breakfast was good, and staff friendly & helpful, wished I was staying longer to sample dinner menu and bar.

Traditional but modern Hotel with excellent facilities and spotless rooms. Best features are the staff. Professional but very welcoming friendly and helpful. Good location for seafront and shops.

Lovely hotel. Staff really friendly as very accommodating. Only stayed for 1 night as we had a wedding but would have happily stayed longer. Great location too!

Helpful staff Very clean Food excellent they had a large choice and it was delivered effiently and hot when appropriate Bus stop just down the road which gave easy access to the surrounding area Very close to a theatre Close also to a cafe and pub not that you'd need them.

Nice decor bedroom clean, water pressure in hand basin taps poor, service excellent evening meals a bit mediocre, breakfast good waitress excellent.

Very good staff ; the rooms were clean and adequate or good for a British seaside hotel. Again, for an English sea side hotel, the food was good and the service very good. There was entertain ment on some night who all looked awful as they arrived but were surprisingly good: singing and light comedy acts. Our room suffered from noise when floors above used the shower … I suspect the upper floors, above our floor 2, needed some form of hot water pump which was very noisy. The lift is very small, but at least they had one Everywhere was very clean and the staff pleasant and efficient. The rooms were clean, kept clean and adequately sized and furnished.

Very good food mixed rooms some what I call basic others very nice staff brilliant.

Not a place for disabled people, there is no ramp to entrance, stairs galore with a tiny lift to all floors, beds are very comfortable, food is very good and staff are friendly.

Brilliant hotel. Very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Staff are very helpful. Turkey and Tinsel break was well organised and fun with good food and table service. Entertainment good too and Robert who entertained with good music singing and fun humour was exceptional-such a laugh. So think you I had a super all round stay.

Very noisy at night and overpriced for what you get, no parking available and side streets rammed. The staff are very nice and polite but doesn't represent value for money.

Fantastic little hotel. I went for a few nights as a small summer break with my wife and daughter (age 10). The staff were all really friendly and happy to accommodate anything we needed. They genuinely seemed to care that we had a great stay. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice for variety over a few days. The cleanliness of the hotel was also good during our stay. We as a family can be quite critical at times but found this hotel faultless for what it is.

Very good hotel, good food and hotel staff are great you also get free Wi-Fi I could not get it from my room though. As for the rooms I can only comment on the one I get put in all the time (coach drivers) mainly get this one situated round the back. Still the room is clean and well maintained and you get like everyone else drink facilities hair dryer and a lovely touch biscuits every morning. Unlike most hotels this one gives you plenty of compliments, I would rather have a mug rather than a little cup. This is why I bring my own. The Customers I bring say there rooms are good. The hotel is not located on the sea front so there are no sea views but the sea front is just round the corner. For parking I'm not sure about, there's on street parking all around the hotel but you would have to pay. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful hotel, great food the staff are also polite and helpful. Been to this hotel a few times now and always a pleasure to come back. Can't really comment on the rooms as I always get the same one (not by choice). In general the room I'm in is clean and well maintained. You get plenty of compliments, I enjoy having biscuits replenished every time I come back from been out. You get a hairdryer in your room. Would like a curfew for the seagulls they start squawking really early, a gun would be nice, the noisy devils! (only joking of course)

Just had a four night stay at this great hotel, could not fault anything, the room was spotless as was the whole hotel, the food was fab, location great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, special praise for Liam on reception what a guy and Gus our waiter very handsome and attentive keep hold of these 2 they were great. We will be back dont change a thing it is perfect.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and tasty food. I would recommend paying extra for the nicer rooms — I stayed in the newly refurbished room and it was stunning.
