Well located for the seafront and bandstand and we had no issues parking. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is lovely and the team are friendly.

Good location. Free Wi-Fi and parking permits. Small but usable lift to all floors. Only five minutes walk to shopping centre. Theatres only two minutes away. Really nice breakfast included. Can recommend.

First time at a hotel with modern decor. Not really to our taste. Very bright turquoise feature wall, not very cosy. Laminate floor not to our taste but some people might like that. Bed big and comfy. Breakfast good. Eduardo very friendly and good service.

Breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean but rather small. Double bed was way to small to accomodate 2 adults not even for an adult and child in my case. Good location.

Just come back from a two night stay in Eastbourne staying at this hotel and wanted to leave a review. This hotel was great is was clean and tidy with big rooms and very comfy beds! The staff were lovely and very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them and they could not do enough for us! It is close to everything the town, the peir, the band stand and more. We will be going back there again. :0)

I love the room that I was. The staff are very helpful. Every time that I go to Eastbourne da Vinci is a stop.

Okay place not great towels don't get changed on daily basis. Cleaning can be better. Breakfast is nice.

Big, warm rooms, helpful staff, good location…

Very basic furniture, bed, bedside chest, chest of drawers and wardrobe, two armchairs and small table. Tea and coffee facilities and toiletries provided, but all very basic… although yes, there were pictures on the wall in the room and staircase and around the hotel, but the execution of decor wasn't that good. Also cleanliness I wouldn't rate as excellent, as old windows were dusty, bathroom with mould in the shower — partner and I decided that we will not take shower because of that. It reminded me old shared student house… noisy, uncomfortable… was okay for the location and two nights stay.

Thank you for making our stay so comfortable … the hospilaity was second to none… we were happy with our stay from 14/2-17/2/18 will definitely come back.

Always warm welcome. Rooms spacious. The power shower is amazing! We stayed in room 208 (2nd floor). Came in February small break. It was Lovely. Our 2nd visit.

Really clean. Nice hotel. Everything ask for. view wasnt much. But local to everything. bed did squeak lots even just by turning in bed. bonus get parking voucher for your stay. nice English breakfast.

Stay was brilliant everyone very friendly and helpful. Family room was very large, breakfast had a resonable choice. Minutes walk from the beach would definitely recommend.

Near to Eastbourne front and it's not the hotel's fault that the town is closed in November! A cheap alternative to Newhaven itself when taking a morning ferry. The breakfast staff are friendly and helpful.

Friendly, relaxing and convenient. Rooms possibly need a little tlc but very old building and still comfortable.

The Da Vinci Hotel and Art Gallery is very well situated by the sea front, many rooms have a sea-view and certainly our bed was very comfortable. Price point was very good. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional with a great choice of premium fares. The ground floor was jam packed with pictures all hung from the high Victorian dado rail, if anything there could have been less and then I may have actually spent some time looking at them instead of glancing. A couple of minor issues, the shower was quite low in pressure (no bath) but lots of room in the corner cubicle. During the evening the power tripped out in our part of the hotel about 5 times, then stabilised. Waking the next morning the power tripped in our room only, typically whilst my wife was in the electric shower, that said the hotel was very accommodating when it was fixed and offered us a refund. If we hadnt had the power/shower issues I could have given a 5* rating.

Really nice hotel near the theatres and seafront. In need of a few finishing touches, but otherwise a great place.

The room was really lovely but the bathroom could do with a refresh. The windows were massive, which was lovely in the sunny weather. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent choice for a stay in Eastbourne. Clean and attractive surroundings friendly staff, full breakfast menu. Delightful art work, light and airy rooms and comfy bed.
Close to loads of mouthwatering restaurants and theatres, would recommend the da Vinci.

Good level of care and attention to detail. Great value, location. The corridors and doors upstairs are tired but the rooms and facilities are more than fine. Good breakfast. Nice people. Been here before and more often at their renamed sister hotel nearby when this was being started. Closing for Jan / Feb 16. Book direct rather than give 25% to an app. Very cheap when I stayed two nights and more than happy so I insisted on paying a little more!

The Da Vinci hotel in Eastbourne is a great value place to stay in a great location. The staff were excellent, I enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were furnished well, they even had a DVD player so take your movies or borrow some from the hotel DVD library! The breakfast was nice too. The only couple of negatives I would say is that our room wasn't particularly 'cosy', the furniture is a bit show home and the heating was just an electric fire, but it should make a nice stay on a hot summers day. If its a windy day (as it typically is in Eastbourne) be prepared for some window rattle as the sash windows are part of the listed buildings regulation and can't be replaced. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and it's a nice break from the normal hotel styles with its Art themed rooms and public areas.

Friendly staff, good location, clean decent sized rooms. Ticks all the basic boxes, and reasonably priced too. Only fault I had was the drink I got from the bar tasted like it was a dusty glass.

A place to stay for a couple of nights break. So different from your run of the mill hotels. A huge great airy room, good shower room and toiletries. Helpful staff and good breakfast. The decor was bright and cheerful and the concept of the art around the walls and for purchase certainly a change. The location is fine for the town and Beachy Head and parking was easy, using the vouches provided. Other hotels we have stayed in have charged extra for the parking, but not here. We enjoyed the experience and will return.

We were travelling with our 1.5 year old and booked a double ensuite room for two nights (Fri-Sun). We were very pleased with it. The hotel is quite minimalistic — — it's not the Ritz! — — but it was clean, tidy, and spacious. We had enough room for a travel cot and even with the cot, the room did not feel cramped. Considering that it only cost GBP 10 more than the Econolodge, I thought it was a great price. It's within a short walk from the Jevington City Hall, and the beach is literally just across the street. The staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent. As I said, it's no Hilton, but for the price I was very happy with what we gott.

Hotel being renovated. The rooms are bright, clean, the deco Grand (room to 3 very large). The bathrooms are unfortunately not at the same level (still very convenient), but it is certainly one of the next steps in the renovation. The reception is excellent (Welcome coffee), the owner very nice will give you very good advice for restaurants or visits to do. Excellent breakfast. No parking, but the hotel offers tickets to the day. An address to remember. We will be back.
