The view was amazing and the room was clean. There was one thing that make me give 4* instead of 5. There was no staff in the property so we left the luggage in the other prpperty about 20 min awat in the morning and when we wanted it back we struggle to find member of staff to help us, nobody was answering the phone as well.
We picked this guest house based on its proximity to where we needed to be. While I can't fault the location, albeit right next to a busy road, I was a little disappointed in other aspects. 1. We could not find a single member of staff to help us. Where is the desk? Thanks to our welcome email we knew how to get in and found our room easily. 2. The room, was nothing at all like the photos, this is false advertising! Our room was clean, had a double bed and only one bedside table. There were no table lamps, and no drinking glasses. I've been drinking water from a coffee mug. I'd have preferred 2 pillows, I propped my one up with my towels. 3. The toiletries provided were fine and good quality, as were the towels. Thank you. But the bathroom had one little hand towel hook and nowhere to put your towels while I showered apart from on top of the loo. There was no where in the shower as well to put your toiletries apart from the floor. A small shelf would have been useful. While mum was trying to adjust the height of the shower it fell down! All in all the place did what we needed, gave us a comfortable bed for the night, but nothing really more. We were only here the one night, I think a longer stay would have been harder.

If I could give 0 stars I would! This place is diabolical The photos on the internet look nothing like it does in person! This place is absolutely disgusting! Me and my partner paid £55 to stay one night in a dump! We ended up getting a refund and not staying there! We were told we were able to check in at 3pm soon arrival this place looked a bit shabby, as we entered it looked like the inside of a hostel! we went to find our room as there was no receptionist, as we went to our room we found the door open, our bed wasn't made, there was dirty sheets in our room and all in the hallway, other people's toiletries in our bathroom, the bin was filled to the top of rubbish that wasn't ours and dirty spoons by the kettle! Pur room was down the hallway from the owners kitchen and what we saw wasnt very pleasent! we went upstairs to see if we could find someone to speak to as we was furious, and there was abother guest who had the exact same problem and his room was in the same state as ours! A young girl came down and said she was the receptionist, so me and my partner and the other guest said we was not staying in this hotel and that we want a refund, the young girl storms of and gets a piece of paper which stated they were happy for us to have a full refund. This place is a dump and I wouldn't let a rat stay in there let alone other humans! Whatever you do, do not stay in this place! This 'hotel' needs to be closed down!
