Went to have dinner with family staying there and the food was very good as usual. I was very impressed with the attentiveness of the waiting staff too as we had highlighted some allergens concerns at the time of booking and the waiter made sure to check who were the affected customers at the table and promptly took the right steps to accommodate these. For example he made sure the fries were cooked in the gluten free fryer without being asked.

Super comfortable, amazing breakfast and food. Efficient and very lovely staff. We accidentally booked the wrong room (our fault) yet the staff still moved us and finally rooms with a decent size bath! The bar manager or security guy was also extremely attentive. The waiter that served us for a party of 19 was so on point and couldn’t do enough. Really thank you! My husband and I will come back and have a mini shopping break as we were so impressed. Highly recommend. I prefer this hotel for comfort and quality. 5 stars easy! X.

Stayed here for a friend's 40th. Great location and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Stayed in a triple room which was plenty big enough and the beds were comfy. We had the overnight spa and champagne afternoon tea experience and at £110 it was excellent value for money. The breakfast was also delicious and I'd have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Attended for afternoon tea and it was amazing. Great selection of food. I had the gentleman's tea which was lush x scotch egg ciabatta mini burger and Yorkshire pudding. Deserts were first class. Cakes with the main cream tea looked outstanding.

A wonderful 3 course Sunday lunch for £19.95 in pleasant surroundings with staff that are polite and courteous. The only minus is that twice we have been and the same waiter wasn't able to answer my questions about the starter. He did however locate a waiter who was able to assist.

Just popped in for a quick drink with my partner. She had a vodka and tonic which she enjoyed, I had a lager. The selection of draught lager was poor. It always has been. On the whole it's a nice relaxed place, nice clientele and good service.

We are regular visitors to the restaurant — we really enjoy the atmosphere and range of food available. The staff are friendly and helpful, not shy about recommending particular things. Recommend!

Drinks very expensive. Bar area very dark and noisy. Stood outside and shocked to see pool area, had hoped to go for a spa day, but won't now wouldn't want to be lounging or in the pool with people stood outside. Very disappointing!

Lovely hotel. We stayed from Sun to Tues. There is a car park opposite, but pricey. So we used justpark app. And got a fab deal with the Marriott hotel which is only a 10min walk away. Nice room and delicious breakfast which will set you up for a days exploring. Good facilities including pool. Nice clean room. Will use again.

Rooms are great. Spacious and comfy. Breakfeast is delicious and a wonderful experience with the professional yet friendly staff. Service is fast and accurate. Pool is heated and gives a wonderful feeling. Will be visiting again definetly.

My daughter took us to the Park Plaza for Afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The cakes were delicious and they even did a Gentleman's Tea which my husband thoroughly enjoyed.

Nice location with good restaurants and convenience stores around. Typical small rooms with less storage space and limited amenities. Staff is very friendly and courteous, and loved their hospitality especially in dining area. Hotel has a restaurant and serves good breakfast and meals. Just a walk away from city center mall and has lot of good places around. It has decent conference rooms and party halls. Hotel amenities include gym and swimming pool which are maintained well. The room lacks basic amenities so do carry your shaving kit and dental kit. There is a parking right opposite to hotel and offers 20% discount for hotel guests but get that coupon upfront from hotel before making payment for parking. Overall a great experience because of hotel staff and location.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely clean rooms. Nice ambience and bar. Location wise it's a short walk from the high street and it has a spa, gym and pool. Always enjoy my stays here.

Stayed here 05-01-18 and all I can say is what a great place. Staff are excellent, food was exceptional and our junior suite was so comfortable and quiet. Glad we chose this hotel for our wedding bedrooms in 2019. Only problem is we nearly fell asleep twice in the comfortable chairs by the gas fire in the foyer check out Laguna cocktail bar in the evening and the spa is a must as well ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We stayed here for a weekend. We were drawn by the pools and SPA. The in door pool is generous and the steam room is large and steamy. The Jacuzzi was small and needs to take a rest too often. The hotel has loads of potential but seems to lack polish. No robes in the room, or slippers. Especially missing if you want to use the SPA and other minor details that are slightly annoying but not worth mentioning. Regardless we did like the fact that we where able to check in earlier than the formal time.

Afternoon tea on Christmas Eve. Very relaxed very pleasant with lovely food. Had to use box to bring surplus home as it was very generous portion. Not the 1st time we've been here and certainly won't be the last.

Great gym and facilities. There is a swimming pool, sauna and other spa related treatments available. The staff have always been very helpful allowing me to purchase a padlock directly from them for the lockers (needed). When I haven't got one they have allowed me to borrow one (they took my admiral pass until I gave it back). The gym is very well fitted with yoga mats, lots of running machines and cross trainers, many different weight machines and free weights are also available. They also have a heavy bag fitted with gloves available but I would recommend bringing your own.

Stayed here with my mum for a shopping trip. We booked a twin room and were greeted by friendly reception staff and checked in efficiently. The room was clean and spacious and the shower good and powerful. We went down for a swim in the pool, which is a fair size and clean and the changing rooms are well maintained.

Nice spacious rooms. Clean and well stocked. Beds huge and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good and the drinks well priced. Great stay.

Rooms are wonderfully quiet. Food is excellent. Staff attentive to your needs. Just what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Parking is across the road NCP park but reception will discount the ticket. Only a short walk for almost anything you want to see and do.

I went here on a Sunday for drinks and lunch. The lunch is a three course Sunday roast on a set menu for £20. The options are plentiful on both the wine list and menu with the lack of a la carte not even noticed. I ate calamari to start followed by Pork and finally lemon tart. All delicious! Very impressed.

Rooms are good. Reasonably big with good bathroom. Wish they could provide a couple of complementary bottle of water which is quite common now a days. Wifi is fast and easy connect. Centrally located.

One of my favourite hotels of all time. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of exciting dishes that are cooked to perfection and don't break the bank. The bar is lively with a smart clientele and a wide choice of well mixed cocktails and a fine selection of wine and beer. We found the pool area very relaxing and my wife loved the spa. Rooms are clean, quier and well proportioned. All in all a very well run hotel and we'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Good location, parking opposite and sensible prices for drinks and room service. Free use of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room included. Recommended for a weekend getaway.

Myself and my girlfriend went for Sunday lunch for the first time at this restaurant. We have visited before for spa days and Gentleman's Afternoon Tea which were wonderful. I can say the trend definitely continued. We were not rushed at any point. The service was almost immaculate, the wine list gave a good scope of choices and the menu itself, though adhering to the traditional"Sunday lunch" theme offered choices that were new and innovative on the starter front. I had a goats cheese fritter (sorry, I can't remember the proper name for it), the Roast Sirloin if Welsh Beef for mains and a Sicilian Lemon torte for dessert. All were excellently cooked, a good temperature and served at a good timely interval I have no complaints and we will be returning very soon.

Average hotel although good spa facilities. Staff aren't trained to the standard you'd expect and if you're a Concierge customer, the only extra benefit is a bottle of water! (Which comes with a lovely letter commenting it on being your 'free gift' for being a loyal customer).

Perfect location for Cardiff city centre. Our room was clean and spacious. Also nice and cool which was welcome after a hot day. Nice breakfast too with plenty to choose from. Staff friendly. All round a nice hotel.

Lovely. Spacious rooms, big beds, nice gym and swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi. The food at the restaurant is great too. Really efficient staff.

Park Plaza Cardiff, located in Central Cardiff, is very comfortable with friendly staff. The rooms size is good and clean. It's only a short walk to the castle, restaurants and shops. It's a great location.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner. We had a lovely time. Bed was huge and very comfortable. And the location is excellent being so close to the center of Cardiff.

Outstanding hotel. Customer service 100%. Food great — rooms large and spotless — location perfect. Nothing too much trouble — indoor pool and hot tub. Location very central — everything within easy walking distance. Plenty of taxis and excellent bus transport system. Architecture beautiful and plenty of open spaces.

Excellent wedding venue. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were pricey though.

Attended a lovely wedding with lovely people. Only downside was the expense. Rooms expensive for what you get no breakfast unless you pay extra and bar bills ridiculous not to mention the very expensive car parking.

We stayed here to take advantage of a fantastic spa break deal they had for Sunday nights and were not disappointed. Cardiff city centre is really close on foot, but we didn't notice any noise (although it was a Sunday night) and the stops facilities were great. U had an amazing massage and a very relaxing day. Food was good in the evening but the breakfast was mostly served as a buffet which looked a bit tired by the time we got to it.

Lovely setting. Bar menu is good food, reasonable prices and quick service. The restaurant is more formal. Food is obviously more costly, but still good value… depending on the special, its can be very very good value. I've eaten in the bar 3 times and the restuarant twice. Food has always been of a very high standard for me, and the guests I ate with. Will be going back.

Absolutely loved our stay in park plaza. The room was big and magnificent. Would happily go back again.

Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities. My room overlooked the courtyard, which was very quiet. Nice big bathroom and very comfy bed. Pity I didn't get to spend longer in it! Location wise, it's minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and transport. Breakfasts are a little pricey (£14) but Costa is just around the corner if you'd rather a cheaper option. A great Cardiff base.

Best Sunday Lunch in Cardiff! Been there several times and going there again today for a family meal (21 of us).

Great hotel, nice service, wonderful pool, and right in the centre of cardiff so its really easy to get to stuff like Cardiff Castle and the Millenium Stadium.

Best shower we've ever had. Everyone was lovely and very helpful. Great room, great location and great facilities. Couldn't ask for more. Wifi was free in room and lobby (and restaurant) and very easy to access. Free tea in the room was nice. Bath towels were huge. Fireplace in lobby was comforting. Restaurant was nice but not fantastic. Rooms weren't as sound proofed as I would have hoped. Bath robes and a hair dryer that you don't need to constantly down a button would have been the final finishing touches to a great weekend.
