Ty Mynydd Lodge Hotel

What a lovely stay. Lisa is just amazing thank you so much for having us everything was 10/10 Close to train station and shops We live in Cardiff but I really felt like I been on holiday for the night and recharged Thank s again guys.

We had a wonderful stay at Ty Mynydd Holiday home — which is a separate annex of the lodge with a little private garden area. We were very comfortable and were spoilt for choice with the included breakfast items. We loved the home made jam. Bed and sofa bed are comfortable, and bedding is lovely and soft. Lisa is a brilliant host and we felt so welcome. It's really easy to get to from the m4 and the village is lovely. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay here. The building is beautiful and Lisa is a fantastic host. It was lovely to feel so warmly welcomed. We are already thinking about a return visit.

I fell in love with the place 😭 Lisa was absolutely amazing, so so friendly and cooks an incredible breakfast! not your average B&B at all. It is so homely and welcoming and I truly cannot wait to go back! I couldn't recommend Ty Mynydd Lodge enough 🥰

I stayed at Ty Mynydd Lodge the night before my wedding! it's a beautiful building with lovely, clean, cosy rooms. My mum and I stayed in double rooms in the Lodge itself. They were lovely rooms with a nice clean en suite each. My sister, brother in law and two nieces stayed in the Annex which is a separate building. It was ideal for them. Lisa put lovely wedding signs in the rooms which was a lovely touch! Knowing how nervous I was, Lisa gave me some good advice to eat breakfast in the morning! The breakfast was really lovely in the breakfast room and filled me up until my wedding breakfast! Thank you so much for our lovely stay and for being so welcoming to everyone.

What a gem of a place, Lisa is a dream hostess with a lovely welcome, there was a lovely log burner going in the guest lounge on arrival, the room had all you needed and more for a comfy stay (naughty welsh cakes a nice touch), I wanted to take the bed home it was so comfy, but I had only brought my small handbag.

Stayed in the lodge for 2 nights and would highly recommend to anyone planning to stay near Cardiff. Thankyou Lisa for such a lovely stay and the books for Kian's birthday, such a thoughtful gift you wouldn't get anywhere else.

A great B&B, the room we had was lovely, the owners are so helpful and friendly, going that extra mile which was greatly appreciated. Ideal location, a 10 minute stroll to the nearby train station, within 15 mins you are in Cardiff city centre. We will definitely be back.

Stayed there last night after my Wedding, what a fantastic and beautiful place to stay! Me and my wife had a very warm welcome, our bedroom and bathroom was at a very high standard. Breakfast was also lovely! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

An excellent B&B. Minutes off of the M4 and easy to get into the city centre from here on the train a few minutes walk down the road. An extremely warm welcome, lovely comfy room and superb breakfast. Would recommend this place to anyone. If I need to stay in Cardiff again, it'll be here.

Its an amazing family run place. Nice, comfortable rooms — newly renovated. You can enjoy the fire place in the evening and a delicious breakfast in the morning.

A truly nice apartment, easy accessibility and at a really good distance from Cardiff Bay. Great, varied breakfast and a decent amount of space. Really enjoyed my stay!

Fantastic house. Really friendly. Takes you back in time. All the facilities you need.

Owners were lovely people. Place was small, beds were pull out couches from Ikea, but otherwise a good place.

Stayed for one night and it was a fantastic experience, the lodge was very cosy and well equipped. The variety of breakfast was amazing, especially the pop tarts! It was a great to have Sky Movies, Wi-Fi and parking. We definitely will be staying again and will recommend!

Lisa was there to meet and greet. Good chat and shown to our room. Great size, clean and tidy.
The sitting room for guests very nice and cosy — all part of the original house.
Breakfast offered many cereals, bread, croissants, toasting waffles, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt and then all the various jams and soft cheese… one of the best breakfast spreads I have seen in a B&B.
I will use this B&B again without a doubt.
