Highest compliment I can give is that we were originally booked for 2 nights, but enjoying our stay so much we were luckily able to book another night. Our room, the caledonia suite was amazing, cozy, spacious with a lovely balcony with great views. Staff were warm and friendly and very accommodating. Couldn’t fault the food, excellent quality and great choice at breakfast as well as evening meal. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent service, rooms clean, settling wonderful very relaxing.

Quaint, beautiful and most of all very friendly and helpful staff. we thoughly enjoyed our wee break there and will be back. thank you ❤️

SWMBO booked a night away with mother in law and son — great weekend Christmas shopping and socialising. Food — outstanding — atmosphere every bit as good — staff attentive and low key — so good we have booked another night away all by ourselves😁

The hotel had a great atmosphere and we felt well looked after by the kind staff. The 3 course meal we had was done to high standard. Was a lovely bedroom.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent. The atmosphere in the hotel is great. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this area.

We only stayed for short visit staff / hotel/ food all really good our friends had their dog whom the staff also treated very well even although dog friendly we felt that non dog lovers were not put at any disadvantage, good location great service 👍

Beautiful gardens, lovely tree lined driveway, good food, friendly and courteous staff and a well stocked bar, we stayed in the Molyneux suite and it exceeded our expectations.

Fabulous lunch, and have stayed several times previously, and would highly recommend it.
They do a lovely afternoon tea too.

What an absolutely stunning venue! We had a wonderful time. We upgraded to a superior room so had our own wee sitting room. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection. Nothing I could criticise about this hotel. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

Stayed here last weekend for our anniversary and my birthday, minor issue with shower but overall had a lovely time, great staff and excellent food, have booked to come back in June for a night…

The hotel felt like home from home; really friendly and helpful staff, clean large room with separate lounge, excellent food for both breakfast and dinner. Look forward to going back.

When our caravan holiday was double booked! Callum came to the rescue and sorted out a room for us for 3 night DBB which turned out to be a very good option. All needs met, fine dining, dog friendly, safe comfortable and very relaxing.
Thank you all the staff, hopefully we will be back soon rather than later.

Yet another fantastic stay. Room clean, spacious and has everything you need. Staff are superb and friendly. Always dine in the hotel and it never disappoints. The food is exceptional. We love this place and return year after year.

Lovely hotel very charismatic. However it is very dog friendly, not a bad thing but the room reflects this. Bathroom wall was dirty! Walls pretty thin and we were woken at 4am by a van loading & unloading outside our window for a good hour or so. Food was amazing and Pitlochry is beautiful, would definitely return.

Absolutely lovely hotel, olde world atmosphere with helpful staff and food was superb, even catered for gluten free.

Hotel was so welcoming and warm with a lovely atmosphere, staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were very tastefully decorated clean and warm, very comfortable bed. Evening meal was excellent and not overpriced. To top it all a great choice of breakfast which included a full Scottish breakfast. Under new ownership, with on going major improvements, with no disruption to guests, will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Our first visit to the Pine Trees and what a wonderful experience. Hotel is beautifully decorated, room spacious and very clean. Hot Buffet breakfast which is constantly replenished. Bar and lounge areas all very comfortable. The hotel is also surrounded by beautiful grounds. And finally employs extremely helpful staff. All in all a fabulous experience, and we have every intention of returning.

Just home after a fantastic night at the pine trees hotel, food and staff were amazing, the gardens are well maintained and are beautiful was nice to sit out and have a drink.

Beautiful property, “grand” comes to mind. Biggest complaint is the temperature — kept much too hot. Everyone in our group (and the hotel employees) agreed with us. … We were told the property owner directs the temperature. Unfortunately we won’t be staying there in the future due to this controllable opportunity.

Great place to stay in Pitlochry. Very doggie friendly, with a free doggie scobbie snack pack. Dogs allowed all areas except restaurant. Staff are lovely and courteous, rooms clean, lovely shower rooms. Our dog loves the grounds for a wee stroll. She also loves the bar lol.

Had a fabulous family weekend with 4 generations to celebrate my 60th birthday. The staff were so attentive and it’s a great setting with lovely food. Everyone had a ball — thank you!

Lovely traditional country house hotel — beautiful grounds nice food — nice staff.

Couldn’t recommend enough. Lovey building and stunning common areas. Rooms were spacious, clean and well finished. Staff were all brilliantly friendly and helpful. Will make every effort to visit again!

A beautiful setting, good food, a relaxing experience.

This was our first visit to this Hotel and we were delighted. We were staying in an annexe which meant we had our own parking space, we also had a flat which comprised of a sittingroom, bedroom and bathroom. It was so quiet and everything was clean. We had our meals in the Hotel and they were first class. The staff were always pleasant and well presented, plus of course very helpful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

A comfortable and very cosy hotel, dog friendly. Situated close to the Center of Pitlochry. We slept very well in a silent surrounding. Dinner and breakfast was delicious.

Stayed there for 3 days loved it definitely would go back.

Spotless hotel. Beautiful grounds. Even saw red squirrels. Dogs welcome and nice gift box provided plus poo bags! Breakfasts are fabulous. Sorry to leave.

Large bedrooms, good food and friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable and decor tastful, would recommend it without reservation.

All very good. Would visit again. We were in the annexe. Lovely room however there was a musty smell and the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Didn't spoil the stay though!

Good food, friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Living area in suite would benefit from a better layout to make it more welcoming and allow view of TV.

We booked for a four day New Year weekend, it was brilliant, comfortable room, the food was excellent, the fireworks stupendous and the entertainment great.
The staff are first rate, friendly in fact you would be forgiven if you thought they owned the place, they seemed to work round the clock to make our experience unforgettable.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, accommodation comfortable but the best was the food. We had dinner and breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic. Very fresh and tastey. Not had porridge like that since was a kid. Dinner was excellent and very value for money. We will defiantly be back and recommend ⭐️

Overall, it was ok. Wifi was spotty. Our room was located behind a series of doors that in the evening close and look like fire exits.

Nice sized rooms, beautiful lobby area with plenty of room to lounge with a drink. Off the main street, so it's nice and quiet.

For dinner food was not perhaps as good as menu suggested, and I found breakfast to be fair but mostly reheated. In general clean and comfortable, but somewhat old fashioned.

Annex rooms are very spacious and comfortable; hotel very oldie world and in need of a lick of paint. Evening meals are very good; however brekfast was poor and disapointing. Staff are polite and helpful.

Relaxing, friendly staff, short walk into the town. Very good food.

The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The meal was excellent and the room huge with sofa. Baillie our retriever had a ball as did we! We shall return. Although the hot l specifies Wi-Fi available ours did not work either in the room or the main hotel. Which is lovely if you need to remain uncontactable also there was no mobile signal which isn't a problem had we had access to Wi-Fi.

The only downside is that there is no lift. Hotel is lovely inside. Our room was nice with plenty of space and we had a lovely view of the hotel gardens from our room. Dining room was well serviced and the food was great.

We had a lovely weekend in Pine Trees Hotel for my husband, s 70th birthday. Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Everything was so clean and shiny. Lovely food. The breakfasts are wonderful. Bedrooms are so spacious. Our Samoyed dog Mishka loved it. Staff were so nice to her and we met some lovely people with dogs. We would definitely go back again.

We found Pinetree on a whim "let's have a night away! ". Was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend this hotel, superb staff, delicious food, room was spotless and so comfortable, just bliss.

We had a lovely weekend in Pitlochry, and stayed at the Pine Trees Hotel the food and the room was perfect. The hotel is only a short 4 min walk from the historic Pitlochry town center. We will be back.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Everything about it appealed to me — e. G. The location (strangely both isolated and only 5min walk from Pitlochry town centre), the decor (crammed with lovely little nick-nacks and an abundance of nooks and crannies to explore) etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful — extremely polite, friendly and capable.
