Our first time at Perth as owners. It was brilliant the team were so helpful and friendly, we were made to feel special. Fabulous location and perfect weather. Thank you.

Food was great. Service from some staff could have been friendlier. Most staff were attentive and welcoming, overall, good value for money.

Went for a meal on the evening of 29/07/18, the meal was excellent our little dog even got a sausage. The guy who served us (sorry don't know his name) was a first class host, friendly and attentive, he also had a excellent knowledge of the food on the menu, altogether a great experience and he is a asset to the lodge. The meal was in the bar area.

A very comfortable room for the price. And a fairly well-equipped room. I couldn't work out how to use the air conditioning and didn't notice any radiators. There are no extra channels on the TV than normal so you're set with BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and the variety of their basic channels. The breakfast was decent enough as it was included in the price but, I would have liked more. You also get fruit, yoghurt and toast. I didn't try the evening meal but saw others' and it looked decent enough. If you're travelling up through Scotland and want a bit of relative luxury than what you'll find in the Highlands then this is very worth visiting.

The rooms and restaurant were clean and comfortable, however there were no vegan food options, and they had run out of soy milk halfway through breakfast. Additionally the desk staff that checked us in were brusque and not very well mannered. I would be willing to give it a second chance, however it would not be my first choice of hotel.

Absolutely lovely. Very high standard of accommodation and excellent value.

Comfortable beds, great showers. The rooms aren't large but are good. Breakfast is good. The staff are quite friendly. The only minus is food/service times during the week.

We went for breakfast and it was superb. There was plenty to choose from and if you went for the full cooked breakfast you were given the option on how you had your eggs cooked. The attached are very friendly and our waitress was really good with local knowledge. I will most definitely be back.

Went here for a family Mothers day lunch and we couldn't have made a better choice. Lovely food, and great sevice from Nick (Giles Coren lookalike). Friendly staff can make an occasion all the better. I would definitely recommend The Lodge. Car parking close by, easy for anyone with mobility problems. Whether for coffees or a full meal, give it a try.

Food was excellent as was the service. Rooms were well appointed, very clean and with comfortable beds. What more could you ask for in this price range?

Just had 2 night stay at The Lodge, amazing! Quiet and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms very clean an bed comfortable, had 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals and they were excellent, very well priced and of excellent quality. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

The beds are comfortable and rooms are cosy with a decent shower. Staff are friendly and attentive and recognise and acknowledge repeat customers. Food us tasty although menu is a bit limited when staying 3-4 nights at a time but there are restaurants 10 minutes drive away in Perth if you fancy a change one night. Breakfast is good cooked to order and a good selection of cereals. Toast is self serve which is fine but the settings on the grill are a bit eratic.

Really nice hotel just outside of Perth. Staff and food are very good. Breakfast is fast and a high quaility. The menu is a little light on options but all the food is very well made and good portions. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. I would recommend as this has become my hotel of choice when working in Perth.

Great place to stay. Very good value for money. Although the hotel is great in itself, the staff are the main reason for the 5* rating. Everyone who looked after us was genuinely courteous, pleasant and professional. We came to the conclusion that the staff were all picked for their oustanding people skills, first and foremost. In our view, this is the most important factor wherever we go. The service was impeccable — — and just as importantly, consistent — —, which made our stay memorable. We look forward to returning to The Lodge soon.

Fantastic find! We were staying in a campervan just around the corner from this place and found it to be most welcoming with great staff, great beer, a beautiful gin menu (my wife tells me) and a fair (priced) & good wine list. Superb. We will return as guests of the hotel — I want to eat there too. You can definitely eat there without staying; it's just that I'd filled the fridge and had dinner to cook.

Nice budget accommodation. More individual style and service than the chains. Great breakfast and nice staff. Sockets with usb charging are good, all hotels should have them these days. Bar seating could be a bit more comfortable.

Like staying with family! Never felt so welcome at a hotel, and believe me we travel a lot! All staff were lovely. Nick made us feel like royalty. Ross the chef, and dog lover, made a huge fuss of our dog and all the others that were staying! His food was amazing! Better than some Michelin star places we've been to! I'd return for the food alone! Room was modern, clean, comfortable and had everything you need. Only downside was view of a fence and shipping containers, but this didn't spoil it too much and could easily be sorted with some nice gravel and plants. A huge thumbs up and a big thank you to everyone! We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Stayed at the campsite next door popped in the lodge for some food and a few drink very nice place staff are really friendly Claire the staff member made everyone really feel at home 10/10

Friendly staff, nice service, perfect rooms, really good breakfast and dinner.
And in German great hotel with class service, and new quality rooms with many outlets. Good Wi-Fi, free parking, and really good food.

Booked the disabled access room as we needed 3 beds, great room but the mirrors could be longer to accommodate my 5ft 11 height, no plug sockets near mirror either. No AC or fan in room. Could clearly hear conversation of guests in next room and anyone walking past, the door from reception kept banging closed. Had to wait till 8 for table in restaurant so asked where to get food brought in from and told it wasn't allowed, ehm not everyone can afford to eat in restaurant or would like menu. Dinner was ok but service was very slow, menu didn't have 'sides' so couldn't have ie, onion rings with burger, couldn't change the salad garnish that came with the battered fish, would have preferred a choice of peas. Table lay out was very tight and had to keep getting out my seat to let other diners pass. Breakfast was ok. Overall. Definitely prefer either Travelodge or Premier Inn, at least your allowed to order in.

This is a little gem! Reasonably priced, good rooms, lovely staff and decent restaurant. And it's on a racecourse!

This is in a lovely setting next to perth racecourse. Was an overnight stay dinner bed and breakfast. Comfortable room friendly staff and a dining room and bar. The food was terrific as was the service, recommend the warm black pudding salad. Good selection on menu, dinner and breakfast. Enjoyable experience, thanks.

Newly built and very comfortable. Better than a Travelodge room for similar money. Good sized rooms, a bar and fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome from reception, a modern room that would not look out of place in any major city and add to that a great evening meal in the restaurant adds up to a discovered gem.

Had a fantastic visit to the lodge today. Ordered their steak pie, chips and veg. Their Steak pie was tender and tasty, crispy cooked chips and honey roasted veg. Very impressed with the taste, the price and the overall feel of the place was very welcoming. Would recommend to all and look forward to the next visit!
