Got married here on the 19th of September. Everything was absolutely amazing, all the staff, the ceremony, meal, rooms were perfect and they did not let covid spoil our day.

Cannot fault our stay! Beautiful building, beautiful views from our room and the staff and food were outstanding ❤️ we will definitely be back x.

As always Nikala and her team are doing a great job at Murrayshall and following all social distancing rules. Tables are all apart and hand sanitiser at the both entrances. Meal was lovely! Steak was perfectly cooked and the deserts were very tasty. I would recommend Murrayshall to anyone and I promise I am not biased due to the fact that this beautiful hotel is our wedding venue. Bring on 2021.

Went to murrayshall for a wedding reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was quick and prices were reasonable.

Played a round with friends. Course is set in very scenic countryside (fairly hilly). Course and greens were in very good condition. Friendly professional. Sorry, no photographs to show how scenic the countryside was. Great views to mountains to the north.

Visited here several times for business. Lovely setting and grounds as well as golf course with spectacular views. Rooms are well equipped and spacious, the decor is traditional. Good breakfast and meals in the restaurant. Also good for meetings and conferences, where staff are happy to oblige with any requests.

Visited for game of golf. Very helpful pro shop where we were well looked after. The golf course was in magnificent condition. Will definitely return.

Fantastic place for a conference. Staff were lovely and attentive but not intrusive. Beautiful views and great meeting rooms.

Great location expectations were high however the reality was different. Food was tastles poorly presented and lacked seasoning and was dry. Wouldn't go back for food and wouldn't recommend to others.

I stayed here with my partner and my well behaved dog, and I was thoroughly delighted with the staff, the food, the accommodation and the extensive grounds. I stayed for two nights in one of the apartments next to the hotel. The accommodation was very extensive, with a large living room / kitchen, a large bathroom with separate walk in shower, and a large bedroom. There were 2 sofas in the living room, and a dining table with four chairs. We ordered an evening meal in our room, and had guests around to share this with us. Really delightful service, and I can’t praise the accommodation enough. An absolute 5 star experience. The grounds are mainly taken up with golf courses, but I enjoyed quite hillly walks with my dog. Locally, there is so much to see and do, and you really do feel that you are at the very heart of Perthshire. From our base we visited Dunkeld, the Hermitage, Scone Palace, various whisky distilleries, the mill at Stanley (well worth a look), and many delightful places to walk Jackpot the dog. A very good experience all round, and enjoyed at a bargain price. A true home from home with super staff. The library in the main hotel is also an absolute gem, and I enjoyed reading books there when the weather was not so good. Nothing better than a good book, a hot chocolate, a comfy sofa and your dog at your feet to relax on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Bliss.

Great golf service for food and drink very slow.

Excellent stay. Midweek deal £124 dinner, bed breakfast and golf in lovely Scottish country house hotel. Good excellent. Convivial bar misses a decent ale in bottle or tap but otherwise good. Friendly staff eager to please. Good early season golf. Murrayshall course good but Lynedoch fabulous on a sunny day. Is very hilly and is the only Scottish course I have played where I wished I had a buggy. Great value. Worth every penny.

Few minor issues, spoke with staff very helpful then the manager came to the room personally to resolve issues. Great service.

Lovely location, super surroundings in the hotel, from the giant log fire in the lounge, to the comfortable surroundings in the library, it's a very nice place to spend time. My daughter has a dairy allergy, the staff looked after her so well. Can't wait to plan our next stay.

Great place for food and overnight stay! Staff very helpful willing to go the " extra mile " would fully recommend, if you want golf it's right on the doorstep.

Murrayshall has got the lot great golf course fantastic views friendly and helpful staff and not to forget the quality of the hotel 1st class well worth a visit.

Just travelling home after experiencing a wonderful night away at the beautiful and tranquil Murrayshall House Hotel. Room and location was stunning but the highlight was the superb evening meal. My Slow Cooked Oxtail was the best I've ever eaten… Would happily recommend and hope to return in the future.

Stayed here for one night for my birthday. Our room was lovely. We were the first to stay in it since it was refurbished. The bed was so comfortable I actually asked for details of the make! We had afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast included. My daughter has a food allergy which was catered for without any fuss or bother. She was delighted! The brasserie launched the new menu that evening. We were impressed with the new menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal. All of the dishes were served on new crockery too. The decor in the brasserie is beautiful. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Food in the newly upgraded restaurant was exceptional, room very comfortable, staff friendly and attentive, cosy environment. Great!

Good service would have more stars but hotel is undergoing a renovation which we were not told about. Will go back and revalue later. Lovely grounds though.

A bit pricey. Staff could be better trained — not knowledgeable on the menu. However good location and general ambiance.

2 nights in a room with garden view. Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Having a car is helpful.

We were here last Friday (03.11.17) and were deeply disappointed with our room which we paid £97 for. We did make our feelings known on departure and were assured that this would be passed on. I have also emailed with regards to our room but no contact has been made from Murrayshall which is even more disappointing. If it were not for the staff and the food the whole stay would have been ruined. Unless I have a response to my email or this review I will not be back to Murrayshall nor will I be recommending it to anyone else.

Refurbishment of the main house meant that we were in the extension where room was tired looking and dinner was in the clubhouse, which was warm and friendly staff.

Had a golf outing yesterday and sadly was a poor day on arriving we were told no golf buggies due to course being wet. But while walking round we could of had the buggies. What was bad was we have people in our party who had medical problems. Shocking
After coming off the course we went to the restaurant for a 2 course meal which was included in our deal. Some had steak pie which when arriving at the tablet you would think they were feeding children another choice was scampi it agsin portion was shocking and another was chicken half a breat dry to the bone. Being a ex chef I would of been embarrassed to put that out the kitchen. Either the head chef was off or if he was there he does not care. Sadly the day was poor and can say we wont be back.

Stayed in one of the fairway suites so review is based on that. Nice scenery and location, unfortunately you don't get much of a view from the suites. Ground floor windows aren't tilt and turn so can't be left open with any feeling of security. Everyone walking past the suites can look right in to the bedroom and living room area, it felt like a fish bowl. You can hear every movement upstairs, there is no privacy. Loose slabs, loose and cracked tiles, heavily discoloured grout, fridge took forever to barely cool a can, toilet roll not topped up, glasses weren't clean. The only positive to the suites is that it was a decent size. Dinner on the first night was average. Dinner on the second night was a disaster, quiet night and it took 20 minutes for someone to take my order and when it finally arrived it was pub quality food — which is fine in a pub, but not in a so called 4 star 2 rosette restaurant. They have a decent selection for breakfast, the fruit salad pots are a nice touch. No mushrooms, beans or black pudding though and they still call It a full Scottish breakfast?

Located just outside of scone, easily accessible. Service is great and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. Pricing is very good for this type of establishment and the views are impressive.

Fabulous setting for a hotel — views across Perthshire, and an (so I'm told, I don't waste a good walk myself! ) excellent golf course. Service is top-notch, and the food is excellent.

The location is superb with brilliant views from the room we had (No. 3) Staff were very friendly, food was very tasty if a bit on the pricey side. A nice place for a weekend treat. Recommended.

Incredible Golf course with stunning holes and views. Main clubhouse well decorated and with a great serving staff, all your needs will be met coming here for an outing. Slightly off the beaten track with a single track road to get you in and out though, so care must be taken while driving. But all in all, would rate it at 100%

Charming hotel in a beautiful location.

We visited for a party which was very well organised. Food good, staff helpful and friendly. Had a suite which unfortunately was in another building and walking down to the hotel in the rain but good. The room was looking very tired and in need of an update.

A good location and were well looked after. Just a little tired in places and missing the finishing touches to get 5 stars.

First class accommodation with a professional and friendly atmosphere, the surroundings complete the luxury experience.

The location for the hotel is marvellous and from the outside it's an impressive grand old building. Rooms are large and on the whole well decorated although mine was tired in one or two small areas, Staff and service was great throughout the stay but the food served in room service disappointed, I understand the main restraint downstairs has a fine reputation so hopefully this is much better. I enjoyed my stay but would like to come back and see this place in the summer when I could really benefit from all of that great outdoors.

Played Murrayshall golf course on Sat 7th Sept and was extremely disappointed with the course. There are several ridiculous holes with extreme slopes, huge dog legs and tight out of bounds. I should have enjoyed the course as I had 5 birdies but the layout is so poor.

We stayed for two nights with two small children and stayed in the Lynedoch Suite which was wonderful. It was more like an apartment. The staff were incredible, friendly and professional whilst the breakfast delicious. The grounds were lovely and it was a really treat just 15 minutes from Perth. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited Murrayshall for a friend's wedding recently, and paid £140 for our hotel room. For that money we were given a small, horribly dated room. Seriously, it could have done with a refurb about 20 years ago. It would be ok for £60 a night, but for that kind of money you can visit a modern and gorgeous boutique hotel. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, although the food was delicious so I guess if you're in the area if might be worth popping in for a meal and to see the grounds.
