Had a fab meal tonight. Lovely having the choice of Indian and European so suits allx.

Lovely service, food and ambiance.

22 off us and we didn’t have any problems. Staff were excellent and food was fantastic.

A nice pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff.

Service really poor, asked if we needed plates for main course, young waitresses no clear leadership. Had to ask someone to take orders, then when bill came no deposit taken off. Great food poor service, won’t rush back.

Fantastic place to stay! We stopped just for one night. Had a dip in the pool and a sweat in the sauna — only ones there! Dinner was amazing! Opted for the Indian menu and we both agreed it was the best ever. Breakfast in the morning was fab too! Add in the lovely bath in our room and happy welcoming atmosphere and you come up with perfect recipe for an overnight stay! Thank you! X.

I was at the hotel for an 80th birthday party meal which was excellent. The meal was very good and the service from the staff serving the meal was exemplary.

Nice friendly hotel with good food was there for a funeral tea which had a very good spread. They have a takeaway service which I've heard is very good but not tried yet. There is adequate parking if required.

Very good food. Only 4 stars though due to a senior staff member constantly berating a young waitress which made her nervous and us slightly uncomfortable. The waitress was doing just fine in my honest opinion. Would still recommend this place though, especially the curries.

Room had not been cleaned from previous guests.
Coffee cups, water bottles bed unmade bathroom used.
I was told the room would be cleaned within 5 mins. I said 5 mins won’t be much of a clean.
I was not offered another room I asked if there was one which the answer was “can you not wait in the bar for 5 mins for room to be cleaned” so I decided to leave.
9pm is not the ideal time to find alternative accommodation had to venture out of town to a friends.

Excellent personal place friendly and has listening and available. Very satisfied with a 10-day stay with 10 friends.

Always great service when we stay here family run hotel and made to feel like one of the family. Superb food always massive portions. Also great location for the rest of “the ferry”

We had a lovely meal tonight for my birthday. The chicken pathia was lovely, as was the Turkish delight cheesecake. Very friendly staff. A lovely place to dine.

Dont usually bothering reviewing but restaurant food and service was first class not to mention huge portions we were both absoutely starving but still couldnt finish it all.

Very cosy and comfortable, the staff are superb and really go the extra mile to make your stay totally stress free. The food is quite simply second to none, another five stars there. Nice bar and swimming too! You really couldn't get better and all at a very reasonable price.

Stay at this hotel regular with work. The food is fantastic and the owners and staff are great. First class service, cannot fault this hotel and have to highly recommend geoff's scrambled eggs, they are the best I have ever tasted.

We were here tonight to celebrate a birthday, the choices on the menu was great, we all chose to try the Indian selection wow it's the best Indian food I have eaten in a long long time great flavours, the portions are very generous in fact both myself and my wife could not finish what we ordered but my mother eat the most and she eats a lot of Indian food and will definitely be recommending the Ferry Hotel yo her friends as will me and the wife, the service from the staff was first class, very helpful and attended to our requests … we will be back.

Bar lunch for eight people. Food was good and portion sizes fine. Service was good. The car park was small but adequate, giving level access to the bar area and toilets.

Excellent rooms great shower and the food was fantastic as was the price. The owner was very welcoming and gave us tips on where to go in town and how to get there. We ended up coming back to the hotel to eat. We would highly recommend this place.

Very nice place. Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and fresh. Food was tasty and drink as usual for scotland were great (whisky). The swimming pool and gym room were also really great! I enjoyed my stay there and recommend.

An amazing place to stay great food great staff super clean meet the owners Jeff & Gerry they have a great pride in the place nothing was to much trouble and the only word we never heard during our stay was NO to anyone inc us it was always YES no problem & so nice to see the younger generation doing a brill job a credit to the owners can't wait to return.

Had a real good night with hubby, and the food was amazing, the staff were great, and we had such a laugh with staff too, would recommend this place and defo going back (if they will take us)

Tastefully renovated. If you are staying overnight the rooms are well insulated against the bar downstairs. Food is homely.

Not the nicest of pubs in Broughty Ferry. It's popular as it opens late. Prices and selection good. The place is fine mid week bit does get very busy at the weekend, which is to be expected. Overkill with TV screens in the bar which isn't that big. The pub is popular with quite a mix of people, but tends to be a younger crowd.

Very poor customer service! Poor attitude! Oh and are only interested in telling lies in order to get your money! Why is it that all the bad comments are deleted Hotel Broughty Ferry!? Disgrace!

Beautiful room, staff were amazing great food.

Went for a meal with the Mrs and both got a curry, very tasty and good size portions. Also do local/house lager which is a nice touch.

We were dropping daughter off at St. Andrews from the States and there were no rooms left in the Town of St. Andrews. We loved this hotel. The owners did everything possible to accommodate us. Clean, comfortable and near Dundee which is where we bought all her dorm supplies. The Town of Broughty Ferry is authentic and beautiful. You can walk from the hotel to shopping, pubs, restaurants, etc. Its about a 20 minute drive to St. Andrews through rolling country-side and a couple of villages — very doable. Driving in Scotland is tough: opposite side of road with steering wheel on the right! There's also a bus running between the hotel and school but its a much longer ride. Highly recommend.
