Have been drinking in the 19th for the past 30 years and am disgusted at the greedy attitude of the current owners eg inflated prices towards tourists and the ridiculous reason they have given for the increase, I will definitely advise any tourist I meet to give the place a wide berth, as for my continued custom — NO MORE — you're a disgrace to Carnoustie and Scotland.

Cozy and noisy on a night France downed Belgium in the 2018 SWC semi-final.

Poor selection of beer — claims to have craft beer and doesn't. Also a drunk child wanted to fight me.

Food was perfect, really good sized plate full and very tasty. The staff were very welcoming and had fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family thanks again x.

Great value food for money, not much parking but there is a local car park 2 minutes walk away.

Just along the end of my street had a lunch in it a few times in I loved it.

Very comfortable. One of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Staid for one night and it was amazing! Friendly staff and it's really clean and quite. Cheap drinks and your own mini bar within your room. I would definitely stay again and I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I visited the 19th Hole with family for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great food and nice, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good value. Room well presented and equipped. Pub grub — when my steak pie appears within 10 mins I wasn't expecting it to be anything special. I was very, very wrong. Breakfast was also spot on. Definitely recommend as a good all round pub.

Busy, which shows it's popularity, but a bit cramped. Lovely staff though, who are always happy to help.

Lovely, friendly hotel not far from the beach. Super room and well stocked breakfast buffet. Pub is lively at night and the food is good. Some info on the website and receipts are for summer season I expect but all in all everything I could have wanted for our stay.

I stayed here a few nights while working away and would highly recomend this hotel. It was modern, clean and tidy. The staff where freindly and helpful and the food was nice also.

Not a bad little pub. Alot of extensions and renovations have gone on since I was last there. Food was ok.

Dont judge a book by its cover. Outside looks tired but rooms are spot on. Mini bar is full of every treat thinkable although at extortionate prices.

Food below average plus not much to ser ings two of our party needed to order a second main course. One star for offering free soft drinks to designated drivers. Just show bar person your car keys.

Looks good since recently being done up. Food took a long time to come out and wasn't very hot. Portions were not the biggest for pub grub.

Great rooms had everything we needed. Mini bar too. The pub itself does lovely food and great range of choice for both food and drink.

Magic burger, fantastic fish and super steak pie. Then there's the brilliant beer. A hole in one.

We drove up from dundee for some lunch here and we were really impressed. Firstly with the price — very reasonable and the portions were very generous. The wait for food was a little long but very much worth the wait. Very much recommended, if you have an empty stomach.

Arrived too late for food, last orders were 830pm on Friday night. Friendly staff recommended local restaurant. Returned for drinks after, reasonable range of lager/beer and vast selection of gins.

Home away from home well looked after at all times very friendly atmosphere and staff first class.

Very clean and modern rooms, good breakfast, and very close to the Links :-) Only downside might be that the hotel is a pub as well, and they have live bands in the weekends (but the pub closes at midnight)
