Our second time at this gorgeous B&B. Great location, immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Nothing was too much for our hosts. The best B&B we have stayed in. Can’t wait to return.

Stayed here for a weekend recently, absolutely beautiful! Very homely feel with amazing decor! Owners are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It’s located amongst beautiful scenery and just a short walk to town centre. Food is also beautiful. 10/10.

A beautiful accommodation with everything taken care of so you can truly relax from the first moment you arrive. There is a choice of pillows on the bed and fresh milk provided for the hospitality tray plus many more luxurious and thoughtful touches! The breakfasts were fantastic and top quality local produce used! The eggs come from the onsite hens! We can't wait to return.

Everything about Glenshieling is as it should be, beautiful house kept in immaculate condition by Richard and Louise, who are also fabulous hosts.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and lovely en-suite facilities, with lovely toiletries and little details like a dedicated make up remover cloth. Everything you need and more is made available and nothing is too much trouble. From the chilled water on arrival to the chocolate on the pillow, fresh milk in the room on request, the owners do everything possible to ensure you want for nothing. The breakfast is amazing, very well cooked and presented, and certainly you won’t go hungry!
The highlight for me was coming in from the gruelling Cateran Yomp to be met with a thoughtful congratulatory note on the front door, and the complimentary fluffy slippers which I am still wearing as my feet are so swollen after 54 miles hiking! Can’t thank the owners enough and would love to return to chill in the beautiful lounge and annexe with honesty bar. Highly recommend staying!

We have today left Glenshielding House after a lovely 3 night stay with a very heavy heart. We have loved every moment in Scotland and cannot thank Louise and Richard enough for their hospitality. What a lovely couple who are truly amazing. Their love of what they do shines through and nothing is to much trouble or effort for them. They really do go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is comfortable and that you have all that you need. You will not be disappointed staying at this B&B. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home. We even got a warm welcome from their little doggie who miss adorable. We will miss the owls hooting and the entertainment from the chickens. Thank you guys for a truly amazing stay xx.

Beautiful place to stay and Richard and Louise are welcoming and knowledgable about things to do in the surrounding area for all types of people and visitors. Can’t wait to see the lodge house when it’s completed as the main house bedrooms and house are out of the world xx.

Beautiful house with stunning grounds and lovely clean rooms to stay in. The owners Richard and Louise make you feel so welcome and catered to your every needs. The best part was the breakfast — super delicious! Will definitely come again if we are down this way and will recommend to all our friends!

Proprietors are wonderful, genuinely friendly and very hospitable. Room was on the small side but perfect for the one night stay. Pub and restaurant are but a short walk along the "river view" path. Definitely a five-star recommendation.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this welcoming and warm B&B, situated a short walking distance from Blairgowrie's town centre (about 15mins). The rooms are beautiful, modern, well decorated and comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom is to die for! The reception from the owners was lovely as were the breakfast choices. I had the yoghurt, honey and banana to start then the Haggis, black pudding and poached egg stack to follow, both mornings. The other choices were amazing, but these two were too good not to have twice! I cannot recommend this B&B enough and will absolutely be returning again.

A lovely B&B, with lovely owners. Everything that I could ask for is here and to a very high standard, in beautiful rooms in a stunning house. The service has been great and very personal, with lots of effort going into making me feel comfortable. Blairgowrie itself is quite a quiet place, but it and its surroundings are stunning — probably best to bring a car though!

What a superb place! Stayed over night with two friends On our North Coast 500 driving tour and this place was recommended. Wonderful hosts, great breakfast. Beautiful house and accommodation. Definitely worth a revisit next time I am in the area. Highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful people, amazing breakfast, comfy bed, nice place and Daisy.

Made to feel welcome from the start — lovely place to stay — we were in a small double. Helped us book a meal and plenty of suggestions for the local area. Walk into town for food may be too long for some — 15 to 20 minutes. Excellent breakfast too. Will visit again if in the area.
