Dinner was great, staff and atmosphere were great. I was well looked after and will be back if I'm in the area!

Absolutely fantastic meal, with a friendly atmosphere. Great value and dog friendly which is always a bonus. Will definitely be back and recommending to family and friends.

We had lunch today at the Bankfoot Inn and have to say the staff and service was wonderful. They couldn’t do enough for us. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere with super tasty food. Thank-you guys your an absolute credit to the business and we will definitely return again.

Went for lunch today, we had macaroni cheese, a leek and Gruyère tart and a croque Madame. Also had puddings. Can’t recommend enough will definitely be back. Didn’t get photos of the mains as we couldn’t wait to get stuck in 😂

Just back from a cracking meal at The Bankfoot Inn. The food was delicious, the menu had a great choice and the service personable. We will definitely be back, we’ll worth the drive.

Amazing place, couldn't recommend it more. Eleven people in total for lunch and not a single complaint. The staff have a great knowledge of the menu and extremely friendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ had an absolutely fabulous stay at The Bankfoot. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, our room (Room 2) was large yet cosy and finished to the highest standard. The decor was lovely. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt very welcomed and suitably relaxed. Jill welcomed us and showed us our room and looked after us in the evening, huge thank you to Jill. Fish and chips were nom nom nom. The coffee cafetière suitably pleased the hubby (he’s a coffee snob! ) Fraser and Ross are excellent hosts, very sincere and genuinely interested in their guests. Thank you so much for the fresh eggs from the Bankfoot chickens I think we might just have found our home from home! We will most definitely be back very soon. Would highly recommend a visit to the Bankfoot.

Just love our local, beautiful, atmospheric little pub. Saturday evening celebrating my husbands birthday with the kids. First class food and drink. The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Recommend to everyone.

Had a fantastic stay at the Bankfoot Inn — lovely historical building with modern features inside. Stayed in Room 1 and it was very well furnished and probably the best shower in any hotel I’ve stayed at! Every single member of staff we encountered were great and Ross and Fraser were fantastic hosts. Will definitely return!

Myself my wife and sister-in-law went on Sunday for fish and chips. I have to say I've never seen such a big fish on a plate the taste was to die for and the batter is beautiful and crispy. I highly recommend you try it. 10/10 from us.

We just had our first fish and chip takeaway from Bankfoot Inn and it was outstanding, the set up is brilliant here and the staff are excellent. Will return again soon, highly recommend, worth the visit from Perth and the food was still piping hot when we got home.

Oh my gosh! Just enjoyed our first takeaway and thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered far too much out of sheer excitement! The chips were perfectly cooked, not at all greasy — perfect! I ordered some hallomi fritters and macaroni bites as have never had them before and glad I did as they were so nice (now in the fridge for tomorrow as didn't realise how big they'd be! ) Everything was delicious and great value for money too! Get ready cos we'll be back and I know exactly what I'm ordering!

Many thanks to Ross and Frazer for putting up with us for 3 months+ had a fantastic time food amazing and staff the same from bar staff to cleaners waitresses and not to forget the chefs (food is brilliant) hope to be back in the future all the best for now and Xmas to all. Many Many thanks colin.

Fantastic fish and chips, highly recommend.

Had our first chip shop takeaway tonight and it was absolutely delicious, 2 fish suppers and 2 sausage suppers, there wasn't a crumb left. We'll definitely be back.

Had a lovely overnight stay with our dog. Stayed in room two which was a spotless well laid out room with en suite. Staff were lovely really friendly. Food great remember and book as busy X Good value for money. Only downside couldn't stay another night as working lol. Nice wee village Nisa store just up the road with cash machine open 6 til 9 every day. Hope to come back again.

Stopped in on way from Gretna to Inverness. The barmaid and locals were very nice and friendly. Would have stayed for longer but had to be at our destination for a specific time. The bar had foreign notes pierced to it. So if you have some unusual notes then see if they have a space. Would thoroughly recommend it for a stop. Slightly off the main road but worth the detour.

Clean, easy, basic. Our room was the last one available with toilet situated outside in the corridor. Pub downstairs, check out has to be done by 10am. It was too early for us because we arrived quite late.

A quiet little village just off the A9 and a little outside of Perth, that has one of the friendliest and finest local pubs you are likely to ever happen upon. That's The Bankfoot Inn for you. Great engaging team who are polite, welcoming and understgreat hospitality. Great selection of beers, malts and gins. Old character building with a clean and modern feel. A bar for having a great night with friends and a restaurant and more intimate area for dining or drinking quietly with family and loved ones. I recommend it.

What a fantastic place. Full of character and charm. Rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely place. We dropped in on a bank holiday in the off chance they could squeeze us in for dinner. Unfortunately they were fully booked. We decided to stay for a few drinks as they had a band playing, great atmosphere and a lovely wee seating area outside.

An absolutely wonderful Inn. The locally brewed cairn o mohr cider on tap is delicious. The sticky toffee pudding is the best I've ever tasted. The husband and wife owners are the nicest folk you could hope to meet. I honestly cannot rave enough about how good this place is. There are some lovely hikes and cross country bike rides from the door and when you're exhausted the modern hot shower and rustic beds I'd normally find too soft are exactly what I want. Also they allow dogs, at least in the pub I don't know about staying the night.

Smashing wee place. Friendly atmosphere. Dogs welcome but watch the cat. Good filling food and a good selection of local beers.

The service was pretty good, but the cooking similar to what I could do at home. Not really what you would expect when going out for a meal. A little disappointing.

We took a pit stop in bankfoot inn! We had no expectations on what to find we just needed a drink before we continued on the road back to Glasgow. Sweet little pub with a cosy atmosphere and curious friendly locals who we talked with. Something you can't find in the big city's or exist anymore!

A great selection of real ales, malt whiskies and home-cooked food are always available and Rab and Susan are great hosts. The pub has been in the CAMRA real ale guide for several years now.

Great room, everything was clean and all the people on there were really nice. On Wednesdays there is live music! Lovely, I will return!

Very friendly and dogs are allowed in. There is a good selection of drinks. Based in a quiet village near to the A9.

A great stop off point if you're heading into the Highlands. Accommodation and food very good but it was the friendly atmosphere in the bar itself that made the stay even more enjoyable. If you have a dog then this is definitely a great place to stay. We'll be back.

Food was good if a little slow, but we came in just after a party of 10 so forgivable. Good selection of ales and spirits. Worth a visit.

We had a family catch up and christmas present swap over at the Bankfoot Inn and we all travelled in from different directions. We chose it not just for location but also because it was dog friendly which meant not leaving our dog in the car. What a fantastic and friendly place it is and great food too. Meat by two gorgeous labs at the door and our wee dog was made to feel right at home too. Lovely log fire right beside us at lunch, it felt like going to a friend's house it was beautiful. Well definitely be making this a place for us all to meet again, cracking place. Great bar selection too, especially gin and whisky :)

Nice place for a stopover break on the way to the highlands from Edinburgh. They serve a great value senior lunch special consisting of a half portion of starter and main course Very friendly service and bartender schooled in Singapore UWC as a kid.

Great place to relax with nice ale and open fire. Excellent atmosphere.
