Can honestly say this is the best hotel stay I’ve experienced, friendly welcoming staff, quality spacious rooms with everything you could require for a very pleasant stay. Lovely breakfast. The amenities are lovely. I’m on work business and have 3 more nights I won’t want to go home 😂😂 I’d like to take the bed with me ❤️

Moved to another building! Toilet was so small I felt I was in an aeroplane! No wardrobes to keep the clothes. Very arrogant staff. No respect to customers.

I stayed here at the weekend for my henny. We all had a brilliant time. The staff were all really friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is beautiful. Special shout out to the lady who was working at breakfast service on the Sunday. She was so lovely and we got a good laugh with her. She made a lasting impression 😊 Highly recommend staying here ❤

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Booked it as a relaxing break for friends. No plans to go anywhere but relax at the hotel, to best utilise all they had to offer for some well needed down time. Amazing service from all staff in all areas. It’s been beautifully updated since I was last there — modern & elegant. The cocktails were quality, lovely spa facilities & gym and the treatments from the Sleeping Beauty spa staff were lush. Highly recommend 👏🏻🤗👍🏻🥰

Enjoyed our afternoon tea in the lovely big reception area with beautiful views over the river ness. Impressed with the pepper and hummus wraps and the salmon tarts, not just boring sandwiches. Cakes were delicious too.

I bought the sleeping beauty salon spa package for my mum's Christmas as she deserved a treat after a stressful year. I 100% cannot fault a single thing. Everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish and the staff were so attentive. Both of our treatments were amazing and my mum would especially like to thank Jodi for the fantastic service she received in terms of her massage and facial. We will now be making this a yearly thing. Thankyou so much for making it such a wonderful day and more so for making my mum feel so relaxed and at ease. 😊

Party night was amazing start to end, band were good and staff were fantastic. Will be back next year.

A lovely hotel. Made us feel so welcome and the staff can't be more helpful and friendly. We stayed 2 extra nights as we just loved it. The pool and spa facilities are great and safe parking for car.

We stayed here for my mother in laws 60th birthday, brilliant hotel, staff were so helpful and lovely. Couldn't fault anything, 5 star service from the minute we arrived. the spa is lovely, so relaxing. Rooms were spotless, well done to every member of staff food was amazing, wild highly recommended the Balmoral chicken. beautiful view of the castle and the river. was lovely to sit in front of the fire and relax with a hot chocolate will definantly be back.

Just back from a two night stay at the hotel. We had a great time! Lovely spacious room, friendly staff, good food. The leisure complex is spotless and we loved swimming there. The staff in the leisure complex were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a fantastic location. Walking distance to the town centre and lovely walks along the river. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

We stayed on Saturday and was upgraded to a riverside view room, the room was gorgeous! The blonde girl at reception was super helpful and went out her way to make sure we had a ball. We ordered room service a couple of times, we were expecting a bill for this the next day when checking out, but no there was no charge.

Reception was wonderful helped get our bags to room. The bar/restaurant was very busy due to the marathon in town but the food and drinks were spot on.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! honestly couldn't do enough for us! the hotel and room was lovely and clean! all staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately was to hungover to enjoy the pool so we shall be booking again for nice chilled weekend! thankyou so so much!

Wonderful clean, spacious room. Iron & board, electric fan, hairdryer in room. No safe or fridge in room. We were upgraded to a room overlooking river. Fantastic views. Well positioned to get into the town or walk to the theatre/cinema. Ample free car park but valet parking available if no room left. Easy access to days out by Loch Ness, Glen Affric etc… Impressed by tea/coffee making facilities, good selection. Breakfast good, help yourself to hot or cold, staff attentive. Lift is tiny. We only just managed to get into it with 2 suitcases! Made us be healthy and yomp up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Very snazzy brasserie for bar drinks or coffee. Swimming pool & gym on ground floor.

Our stay at the Best Western Hotel Inverness was great. The staff were most friendly and helpful especially Louise the housekeeper who went out of her way to get us settled in quickly, with both a professional and humorous manner. The spa experience was fantastic and we will only stay here whenever we visit Inverness in the future.

Great stay. We stayed 2 nights. It is one of the larger hotels in Inverness, so be prepared for tour groups/buses/crowds. Very spacious room, great view of the river/castle. Breakfast offerings were plenty and typical of Scotland (cuisine) Dinner was good, fish and chicken were tasty. Elevator is small, holds 2 people with small bags. One of the best locations in town to walk along the river, 5+ food choices within 2 blocks, 20+ within 4 blocks, shopping very close as well. Would stay here again for sure!

Stayed here for 3 nights, had a couple of issues, glad to say the manager Sarah is very helpful and sorted everything out for me, it made the stay much more enjoyable. Stayed in the castle room which has great views of the river and castle. Edit 2018 Came back to Inverness again for another visit, stayed here again. Rang direct and booked with Sarah. Have to say the staff are very good, room has great views overlooking the river, opposite the castle. Rooms have been painted since last visit and downstairs has had a full makeover to a high standard. Meal was very nice from the bar and good value. Will definitely come again if I’m the area.

Staying here my last night in Highlands with an early flight tomorrow. Very happy for the simple fitness center with weights, kettle bells, and resistance machine. The restaurant was fair, not great … I had a chicken Caesar salad that came surprisingly with anchovies … I paid for it with my card at dinner and they tried charging me the next day as well. This was quickly resolved. My room on the second floor was very nice with a view of Inverness Castle and the Ness River Walk. The building is beautiful with high relief ceilings. I wonder what the history was or if it was always a hotel.

Lovely Victorian building, but typical more modern interior. Lovely location right across from the river, but our room was looking over the alley at the back. This hotel hosts many tours and is a mad house in the morning. Sometimes impossible to find a seat in the dining room for the buffet breakfast. Next time I would opt for a smaller, more intimate location.

Second floor. Own. Large room (three single beds) with about 60 cm (12 ") between them. Large bathroom. High showerhead. Difficult to reach to change the orientation.

Great place to stay! Facilities are great and the staff is friendly. It's located in the middle of everything in Inverness. I would highly recommend it.

Booked in advance but on arrival we were told restaurant did not open u til 6pm despite us booking 5.30pm. So we had to have drinks in the bar with our kids. Not ideal. Radiator was on full at table and very uncomfortable. As it was a special occasion two steaks were ordered at £25ish but both were very fatty and left. The other two meals were adequate but difficult to eat due to heat of radiator. View of castle was nice. Would not return or recommend.

Superb hotel we loved the room very spacious great view over the river amazingly comfy bed with an en suite with powerful shower. Top decor very clean freshly painted well looked after. Great spa nice pool jacuzzi sauna steam room very friendly staff in there ect. Pets allowed in only £15 extra per night :) Stayed a Friday and Saturday night. Only faults were when we ordered a bucket of ice on the Friday night 10pm it never arrived. Then on Saturday arriving back from town at 0300 we were told the bar was closed by a very rude member of staff. The guest information in our room stated "would like some ice please dial the bar between 11am and 11pm" and "bar is open 24 hours for hotel guests only".

Riverside view was to die for. Bar/ lounge area very swish, modern & elegant.
A great choice of food and drinks.
Staff friendly but in need of training.
We waited 40 minutes for each round of drinks to arrive for 8 people!
We also ordered some nibbles, and they got the food order completely wrong — billed pork nachos served without any pulled pork! We were also given no cutlery to eat with. A wee bit of a let down.

Wow — loved this place. Stayed for one week, will return. Food, service, rooms all excellent. Staff can not do enough. Probably the best hotel I have ever stopped in!

Absolutely superb hotel. Stayed for 2 nights on 15th March. We couldn't fault anything. Everything from the staff, to the decor, room, location, breakfast and general all round helpfulness of everyone was exceptional. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend this hotel. We loved our stay! We stayed in the second building and had a room overlooking the Loch Ness! Housekeeping was amazing as was room service. The room was spacious and bedding was comfortable. The location of the hotel made it easy to get to all the cities' attractions and shopping! It is within walking distance of the both the bus and the train stations. Many delightful restaurants were located nearby as well. The staff were very helpful in helping us with our planned excursions and needed drivers! The bar and lounge of the hotel were cozy and comfortable and we certainly enjoyed the Starbuck's coffee! We would definitely recommend this hotel and will most likely return to it when we take our next trip to Inverness!

Clean, presentable hotel, especially the reception and ground floor seating area. Staff are extremely friendly, the breakfast is excellent. Free use of the gym and pool is a great offering over other hotels in the area. The only complaint is pillows, I can never find a comfortable pillow in all the rooms I have been in.

Went here for mine and my partner’s anniversary, and it was fantastic! Situated perfectly, staff were really helpful and approachable, bar/Starbucks were fantastic as well to have it on hand. The leisure club/spa were great as well. Spa had a wide range of treatments, and the leisure club has a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and Pool, and it was all great! The room was excellent as well. Comfortable, tidy, spacious and clean. Being welcomed with a free room upgrade was a pleasant surprise too, with the riverside in view. Only thing we never got to try was the restaurant aspect of the hotel, we usually went out for lunch/dinner. All in all, fantastic hotel and it made our weekend really enjoyable. Thank you!

Hotel is centrally located & convenient for City Center. Parking is free but there are only 19 spaces, however if you park in a Valet space the leisure Centre Staff Will park your car for you at an off site location & return your vehicle at any time you request (mildly inconvenient). We booked for Two nights and paid extra for a River view. This is not what we got on arrival & had to prove our booking before we got what we paid for! (another inconvenience). The room we got was in an annexe called Number 10 next door to the Hotel which was clean and spacious with both River and Castle views. The Hotel boasts a swimming pool and spa which was one of the selling points in picking this Hotel & they didn't disappoint. The Hotel literature boasts a lounge Bar selling local Cask Ales, however, what we found was a Starbucks coffee outlet that closed at 10PM — No local Cask Ales & a poor selection of Whisky. Probably won't go back.

The hotel has a certain charm! The room is really spacious! By the latest techno level… The TV is not up to par and internet certe free but unusable…

Booked into the spa, the treatments were very good. But the pool facility wasn't good at all, the pool was cold. Also, the jacuzzi still hadn't heated up to a warm enough temperature so the staff wouldn't allow it to go on, even at 3/4pm when it had all day to heat up. Yet it was way warmer than the pool!
Pools should be warm when you walk into it not give you shivers.

The hotel is very nice and makes a nice impression. The rooms (in the rooms where I was) are very nice and well furnished. But you can find hir and there a few unbeauty.

Wish I could give 10 stars! Just home from a 2 night break which we won through a facebook competition. Our riverview room was amazing and were treated with chocolates and fizz on arrival! The bed was so comfy and the power shower great. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast which offered a great selection. We also had a wonderful 3 course meal on our first night. The pool facilities were lovely and especially enjoyed the jacuzzi. The starbucks in the reception was an added bonus! All the staff from reception and leisure staff to housekeeping and waiters/waitresses were welcoming and helpful. We will definately be coming back for a return visit.

It's a nice hotel but a bit pricey. I guess all hotels in Inverness are expensive during summer due to demand from tourists. The staff aren't as friendly as suggested by other reviewers. Beautiful view of River Ness and Inverness Castle if you manage to book the river and castle view rooms.

Had to give one star for this to be seen very poor service and very arrogant staff parked car in disabled parking spot and because I didn't look disabled I could not park there when a matter of fact the driver has a blue badge shouldn't judge a book by its cover! Not every disability is visible!

Stunning location on the river opposite the castle. Rooms are nice, big comfy bed and nice pool / spa available. Breakfast is a bit of a let down, self service affair with grumpy looking staff charging about.

Lovely room, really spacious and has an amazing view over the river. Parking is horrific though, most of the spaces seem to be used by the gym/spa. However even at a push there's not enough spaces for one car per room. Could do with giving better advice on where else to park. Restaurant staff very pleasant, as were bistro/bar. Food was lovely.

Have stayed here about 5 times over the years. We stayed at this hotel 12 years ago when we got married so we booked a room for our anniversary. Hotel has been refurbished since last time we stayed. Absolutely spotless. Staff were so friendly and efficient with a relaxing atmosphere. We got a free upgrade over looking the castle. Room was gorgeous with wine. Super kingsize bed which was so comfy. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Friendly staff, great rooms… and I mean really large rooms and a Spa area in which finally a decent swimming Pool. Here, it was worth the "spend more". Highly recommended. We have been there in July 2014 and really enjoyed our stay, the lush rooms and the kind hospitality. I can absolutely recommend a stay at the Best Western Inverness Palace.

On a coach trip with Hemmings Holidays from 12/10/2015 to 16/10/2015 Very nice hotel, good food, great staff nothing is to much trouble for them. I am disabled and had. Problems in the Bathroom I reported the problem out as we went off o n a Excursion by the time we got back for Afternoon tea the Hotel had me moved to another room and the Bathroom problem had be dealt with Very Well Done. The Palace Hotel. I would love to go back again.

Staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and friendly. Room was great and food was amazing. All round great value for money.

We stayed here in April 2015 for three nights and found the hotel to be one of the best we stayed in during our seven week holiday in the US and UK. Our room was on the top floor with beautiful views to the castle and river below. The room size was well above average, it was massive. The bathroom was a good size too and had excellent water pressure. We used the indoor pool and spa which was an awesome added extra and found the service in the hotel to be well above average. The only thing we found a little difficult was the parking. There isn't much of it and it's on a first in basis. Other than that one thing I would recommend staying here.

Come here if you like getting stared daggers at from the staff, so rude, made me feel so intimidated and as a whole a very unpleasant stay, plus Inverness is a dive, there's a zillion better towns to stay in.

My Girlfriend and I just had a fabulous short-break at the Spa and we were both really impressed by the experience. The Room was spacious and relaxing with a very comfortable, very large bed. The in room facilities are a nice touch and the free Wi-Fi throughout the Hotel is very easy to access and above all very quick, no buffering and connection issues. Which is a massive help. The leisure facilities look just as good as they do on the Website, The Pool, Sauna, Steam-room, Jacuzzi and Gym are all excellent and a great place to relax. The staff throughout the Hotel were polite, friendly and above all helpful nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The Hotel is in a great locating made only better by the free secure car park. A nice relaxing Bar, excellent Coffee and a filling Breakfast. A really nice experience, I would most certainly go back.

Excellent hotel in every way only downside heating appeared to be off. Had to go to bed at night to keep warm while watching tv. April too early to have heating off.

Tired rooms and broken lift (4th floor) but outstanding sandwiches in lobby service — local baker, home cooked ham. Not what you would expect of a Best Western. Great location. Pool.

Fantastic Hotel and great location. Excellent facilities: the pool was great. Didn't eat at Hotel as we ate out. Very sad to leave. Can't wait to return.
