Wow what a brilliant couple of days st The Strathallan. Isla is a wonderful host and the house is just so welcoming. There were just so many special touches in our room The Rowan. Bath robes and slippers, Scottish Fine Soap toiletries and whisky too. Our own fridge with cold water and fresh milk to complement the coffee machine and homemade shortbread. Welcoming dining room with a wonderful buffet but the Scottish breakfast must not be missed. Isla let's you know what the special will be for the next day so you have lots of choice. This a special place with an outstanding host. Book… you won't be disappointed.

What can I say except this has to be the best b&b we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Super spotlessly clean, all the little extra special touches in the rooms such as pillow sleep spray, cookies, perfume the list is endless. But the breakfast surpasses all! Ive now a lot to live up to Isla!

Strathallan B&B Our very first stay in Scotland at an B&B, will it ever be surpassed? This place is simply a 'hidden' gem, a Old Victorian house with an interesting history. From the moment you step in, you are taken care of by a welcoming Isla, and feel at home right away. Strathallan is such a beautiful place, renovated with a Scottish feel. Clean and fresh everywhere. Our room (Rowan) was well decorated, with lovely details everywhere. And a dram of whiskey welcomes you in the room. Huge modern and clean bathroom, amenities such as specialty soap, bath salt and eau de toilette. Location is really nice within walking distance from the town. The town itself has many dining options, and a relatively large supermarket. Isla gives you the best recommendations (If you need it), what to see and experience. And we simply have to come back, as we did not have time to see it all ;) The breakfast is fantastic. Every day there's a new specialty on the menu, and apart from that, I really enjoyed my porridge ;) We highly recommend Strathallan B&B.

Quite possibly the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in. The host was so friendly and funny and immediately made us feel at home. The house and the room we stayed in (Thistle) was gorgeous with lots of little extras that just made the stay even better. Breakfast was incredible. A different "special" each morning to chose alongside the traditional full Scottish. We tried everything during our stay and it was all delicious! Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting the area.

We loved our stay, Isla was so welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful and had everything and more that we needed (although I would love to try the four poster bedroom! )
Breakfast was fantastic and lots to choose from.
Hopefully we can get back up to stay in better circumstances.

Isla — thank you so much for being the most delightful hostess! We LOVED our stay at Strathallan and just writing this review makes me want to hop on a flight and go back to Grantown-on-Spey. We stayed in the Rowan room, which is luxuriously spacious and has a very large en-suite to boot. You can tell that Isla poured her heart into this B&B — I loved the details from the binder full of information on the town and surrounding areas, the beautiful decoration of our room (not to mention the amazing wallpaper in the lounge area), and the selection of teas and other goodies (wee dram of whisky! ) in our rooms. Breakfast was fantastic and I especially loved starting each day with traditional porridge. Thank you, again. Sincerely hope to be back in the future!

Awesome. Great place to stay. Stayed in Scotland for 9 nights and 5 different places. I'd be hard pressed to find better accommodations or hosts anyway in the entire country!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast during our honeymoon in Scotland. We booked the "Rowan" room and were very impressed with the room's design and amenities. It had a beautiful Scottish feel while also being modern and clean. The hospitality from the staff was excellent and we enjoyed meeting Isla and Spencer. Our breakfast in the gorgeous dining room was delicious and we had a few good laughs with Isla! The location was perfect for walking to town and we would definitely visit again! Thank you Isla and Spencer for making us feel special on our honeymoon!

We had the best hostess at Strathallan.
We had the most luxurious, restful well equipped room and this morning the tastiest breakfast. This Was exactly what we needed. Perfect and Grantown on Spey is lovely too.
Have already booked to return.

What an absolutely lovely, charming, and comfortable B&B. Islam and Spencer could not had been more welcoming and helpful in guiding us through our stay with wonderful local recommendations. If you are considering Strathallan then all I can say is book it right away!

It was the warmest welcome I ever had. A very clean and atmospheric room. The beds were great, especially after walking there from Ballindaloch.

We stayed for 21 days and if we had to make a comparison then I would have to say it was Iike coming home to moms the service the food and the hospitality was out of this world I would highly recommend it to any travelers.

Great B&B We like B&B's. We have seen great ones and not so great attempts. Strathallan is great! Lovely welcoming and helpful hostess and host, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast. We were a family of 5 — parents plus adult children — with three rooms. They were able to accommodate our family and had choices for breakfast for all. Isla gave us great restaurant and distillery suggestions. We would stay there again.
