Cannot recommend Firhall enough. A very friendly welcome on our arrival. Everything explained and shown our room. Our room (findhorn) was stunning. This isn’t what you’d expect from a B&B more like a plush hotel.
We had dinner at the B&B and like the other guest we enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious and plentiful and well what can I say about the dessert (Eton mess) WOW.
we ordered breakfast the night before and it was ready for our designated time. Another wow for breakfast. The food was amazing as was the service. There are no corners cut and attention to detail is shown all over the B&B.
Thank You Stuart and James for an amazing stay. We will be back.

Myself and my husband just the most amazing overnight stay in Firhall Highland B&B. The attention to detail was second to none. From beautiful lounge, with its welcoming log fire to the beautiful homemade shortbread. We had the pleasure of staying in the Spey suite… absolutely stunning. There was no detail over looked.
Now for the hosts! James and Stuart are so welcoming and accommodating. You really feel you are a guest in their home. We couldnt have felt more welcome.
The breakfast was to die for!
Would highly recommend a stay here… you couldn't hope for better service, surroundings or hosts!

What did I like about Firhall? EVERYTHING! The breakfasts were AMAZING! Stuart is a very good chef. Stuart and James are exceptional hosts. Our stay could not have been anymore comfortable. The attention to detail, the amenities and the quality of everything provided made it a luxurious 5 star stay. We happened upon Firhall when we were looking for another base to stay. Boy am I glad they weren’t booked as they usually are! We booked for 3 nights and had the opportunity to book an additional 2 nights! What comfort! It was very hard to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed not only our stay due to the comfort but our hosts Stuart and James were so lovely and we really enjoyed our time chatting with them. The sack lunches we had Stuart make were wonderful for those days we needed them. Such good food. Did I mention that already? It was so fun to see what porridge concoctions Stuart was making each day. James and Stuart genuinely want your stay to be as comfortable as possible so they make sure you could everything you possibly need without being overbearing. That is a hard thing to pull off but they do so easily. The house is gorgeous! The rooms are all different and so well appointed. They did a magnificent job in making this a warm and inviting place to stay. We intend on visiting Scotland again because there just wasn’t enough time to see everything we wanted to see. Firhall will most definitely be a stopping point for our next trip and I’m already looking forward to it!

It's the little details that make this place so lovely. Like the homemade shortbread and the salt and pepper pots in the breakfast room. We recently stayed for 3 nights, and would highly recommend for anyone to visit. A beautiful house, fabulously renovated with perfect hosts and quite frankly the best breakfast I have ever had. Well worthy of the best breakfast in Scotland award. Would definitely recommend for a highland getaway.

Stayed in the Spey room which did not disappoint. Large room, beautifully decorated and the bathroom was nothing more than luxurious. What make this B&B stand out is the amount of extras that are provided. Nespresso machine, homemade shortbread, sleep spray, sleep masks, toothbrush kit, shaving kit, moisturisers, dressing gowns and slippers, umbrellas … fantastic.
Breakfast was superb with locally sourced food and their own chickens providing the most amazing eggs. If you enjoy porridge a must is the porridge with Whiskey soaked sultanas with brown sugar and cream to start.
Portions were large but you are on holiday so who cares.
The hosts were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble even when I asked for more shortbread.
A packed lunch service is provided which you can order along with your breakfast the evening before.
Loved this B&B and everything about it. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Firhall Highland B&B. Stuart and James are fantastic hosts and make you feel so welcome. Very friendly and very thoughtful. The rooms are gorgeous and all the decor and accessories are very stylish, and very well thought off. The breakfasts are to die for, the menu changes every day. Thank you so much for a fab time! I can honestly say it is the Best Bed and Breakfast that we have ever stayed in!

The rooms are great. Bathroom had heated floors and towel rack. James and Stuart are great hosts and take care of every detail. Breakfast was fantastic and for a few extra pounds they sent us out with a wonderful picnic lunch. I would always stay here when coming this way.

We have stayed here for two nights in April and I can not recommend enough. I would give 6* instead of 5* if possible. I was feeling at home. I loved the decoration of the house, it's location, wonderful breakfasts (best porridge in my life), nice picnic snacks and also the hospitality of the owners. Thank you James & Stuart for unforgettable experience!

When my husband told me he booked a bed and breakfast for our little get away, I was distraught. I was extremely apprehensive and tempted to check in elsewhere before we arrived at Firhall. We pulled up at Firhall and were greeted by Staurt who was extremely bubbly and friendly, he kindly gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us around our bedroom. From the moment I laid eyes on the inside of the house, I was pleasantly surprised — I loved the decor, the house had so much character, each room had its own personality. Our bedroom was perfect! When I say perfect, I mean it. I've never come across a room so flawless. It sounds awful but I actually went in search for something to flaw (because my husband booked a bed and breakfast and I felt I needed to make a point! ) but I literally couldn't fault a thing! Stuart had thought of literally everything anyone could possibly need for their stay. Little touches like robes, slippers, bed side chocolates and make up remover flannel. I was impressed that there was a nespresso machine in our room as well as a selection of biscuits and tea. We had the use of umbrellas if it we're to rain and my favourite was the hair dryer (a powerful hairdryer is everything! ). There wasn't a single water mark to be found in the bathroom — this is how pristine this place was. It was lovely to be able to enjoy a drink downstairs at the honest bar, I've never felt so relaxed.

I treated my fiancé for his birthday, we booked 3 nights in the Spey room, and it truly was beautiful! The decor was stunning and the little touches were amazing, I have even brought lavender spray for my pillow! James and Stuart were hilarious and so kind! The food, wow don’t get me started! The breakfast buffet was awesome with lovely fresh fruit every day! And the cooked breakfast was to die for! We also brought 2 days of packed lunches to take with us, and they were delicious! HIGHLEY RECOMMEND A VISIT stunning place and a stunning stay!

Without a doubt, Firhall is the best B&B I have ever come across, and one we will cherish our memories of and truly return to as much as possible. We stayed three months ago, and came back from our two nights there as relaxed as I'd felt in years. We left feeling like we'd made friends in James & Stuart, and they were incredibly respectful of both very welcome conversation and making sure we had alone time too. The decor is delicate and traditional, the hospitality is every thing you want and more, and James and Stuart have put in many thoughtful touches for their guests. As we visited, they were trialling an 'honesty bar' in the living room. Our favourite add on was the 2 or 3 course meal offered to you in the evenings, which was absolutely incredible food! Breakfast was also flawless and they also kindly prepared a packed lunch for us to take into the mountains one of the days. Staying at Firhall feels like you're staying in a welcoming, cosy home. Tip: eat everything they offer you, and drive out to Loch Morlich so incredible scenery.

Excellent service from a lovely couple, beautiful rooms and a very relaxing atmosphere. Couldn’t fault the decor or anything else about the B&B, which is a perfect example of how a B&B should be run. The breakfast is delicious and you can tailor what you want with fresh local ingredients. They also offer an incredible 2 or 3 course dinner at a reasonable price and again locally sourced ingredients. Finally, there is an honesty bar with a great selection of drinks, which is perfect for relaxing in the living room and talking to other guests or taking a nightcap up to your room.

Just spent 3 nights at Firhall B&B and what a fabulous find this was. Stuart and James are prefect hosts. The rooms are so comfortable and all the extras in the rooms are only usually found in 5* hotels — a great touch! Breakfasts, well the menu is extensive and the food is absolutely delicious. A B&B has to get 2 things right, the bed and the breakfast and Firhall gets top marks! Thanks for a great few days guys and we will be back that's for sure.

What an absolutely amazing bed and breakfast! It combines very high standards — of not only the owners, but also the property, furnishings and food — with comfort and relaxation. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights, and absolutely loved it. We were in the Spey room, which is the largest, and it was wonderful. The bed was huge and we slept very well. Nice touches, like a 'wee dram', biscuits etc in the room were much appreciated. James is a great host. Professional and particular, with an eye for detail, but charming, friendly and full of enthusiasm. The food, Stuart, was amazing, and we feel so lucky to have had dinner on the Saturday night. The steak was probably the best we have ever tasted. It is clear that both take a pride in their home and what they do for their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this property! It was perfect. Thank you.

The house and rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and Stuart was a fantastic host, made us feel right at home. Lots of attention to detail, everything was just perfect. It was a shame we only stayed a night. Would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic stay! Still haven't forgotten the most delicious breakfasts and incredibly comfy beds. James and Stuart were the perfect hosts. They really know how to make their guests feel welcome and their attention to detail is exceptional. Thank for reccomending what to do in the area, the trip to the reindeer reserve was particularly enjoyable. Sadly, we only had two nights here but about a month would be right. The loveliest surprise of our trip. We booked 2 nights here as the hotel we were visiting for a wedding was fully booked. When we arrived we were blown away with the style and friendliness of the whole place. We unknowingly arrived an hour later than check in finished (sorry Stuart), yet we were still greeted with a smile and big welcome. After a 9 hour drive from London, this was greatly appreciated.
The cooked to order breakfast was so EPIC! Best part of the day. Stuart also kindly made us both packed lunches at late notice and we thoroughly enjoyed them on our 17km walk.
The interior design was incredible and the attention to detail made our stay so unique. We had an amazing 2 nights and have already talked about coming back. Would recommend to anyone, we felt so at home and looked after.

Fireball b&b is just stunning everything about it was just perfect. James and Stuart are great guys made us feel right at home. The breakfast was very good especialy the postage served with brown sugar and cream. We took advantage of the lovely lounge with it's log burner at night. Stuart brought us glasses for our drinks and kept the log fire on for us. James and Stuart you are great hosts and I will certainly recommend you to my friends, and we will certainly be back. Thanks guys.

Excellent B&B. Owners are very friendly and helpful and the house is very well furnished and decorated and facilities in room are fine. No licence for alchohol sale but free to bring your own and relax in Lounge room with wood burner. Breakfast menu is somewhat limited giving option of porridge, fry up or some cereals but you can try and request a breakfast if nothing suits (I requested an omelette which was excellent). Free parking for guests Would Recommend!

Firhall is the perfect place to stay for so many reasons: the decor, the fantastically curated rooms complete with the most comfortable beds in Scotland, every tiny detail addressed to perefection, the elegant breakfast… the list could go on and on. Truly though, Firhall was so amazing because James and Stuart we're so amazing. Friendly and accommodating doesn't even begin to describe these two. Our larger group (three couples) felt at home immediately and enjoyed every interaction with our hosts. Thanks again James & Stuart!

Firhall Bed & Breakfast is possibly the best experience I've had with an overnight stay. The attention to detail in the decor is fantastic, the welcome is as warm as if I were family and the breakfast… I would go back just for the fancy porridge with Glen Moray soaked raisins!

Firhall is the best B&B I have ever visited. What a stunning house, renovated with style and class and eye for detail. Every room has its own character with all facilities you can wish for and more. Stuart and James are the best hosts you can wish for. They make breakfast the highlight of the day. Not only by serving the most delicious food, but also because of their amazing personalities. And we had the pleasure to meet the dogs and chickens as well. An absolute bonus. I know one thing for sure … when I'm in the neighbourhood again I will definitely stay at Firhall. Thanks guys!

Really amazing B&B! Spent 3 nights here and and wish we could stay longer. The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and the hosts are very nice and quite helpful. The area is great for whisky tours and the small town has some amazing restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend it.

What can I say about my recent stay at Firhall Bed and Breakfast… absolutely amazing!
As soon as we walked through the front door we felt relaxed, welcome and excited to see what the stay would hold.
We were lucky enough to stay in Spey which was out of this world! The decor, the attention to detail, the tassimo machine, were all incredible, the bed was possibly the best bed I have ever slept in and the bathroom… there are no words, the whole room was just perfect.
After the best nights sleep we woke up to an amazing breakfast each day, I highly recommend the full English, the Scottish and the pancakes if they are offered, I could have eaten the breakfast for every meal everyday.
We could have happily stayed in the B&B for our whole stay but we managed to venture out and were not disappointed, so many things to see and do including feeding reindeer, quad biking and many many walks around beautiful castles and locks.
I cannot thank James and Stuart enough for one of the most amazing mini breaks. We had the best time EVER and cannot wait to stay again… we are already looking for our next dates. I would highly recommend staying at Firhall to everyone.

We spent a month travelling around Scotland and this was the greatest B and B by far! James and Stuart were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us. I have special dietary requirements and Stuart made an entire menu just for me! The food was completely divine (beg Stuart to make his chai porridge — you won't regret it), the rooms gorgeously decorated and very comfortable. One day we stayed in and they kept us refreshed with trays of fresh tea and offers of baked goods — what more could we ask for! There is lots to do in the area, if you love wildlife, castles and whiskey, this is place for you!
