Wow, where to start!? We got married at Gretna Hall yesterday after arriving on Tuesday with a few guests and everything was amazing! From arrival to check out the staff were so friendly and helpful, ensuring we had the best time and under very challenging circumstances. We were so lucky to be able to go ahead with our wedding and to have some guests there and felt totally safe the whole time we were there. The food is amazing whether it's in the bar, restaurant, room service or for the wedding reception itself… everyone commented on how gorgeous the meal was! We stayed in the Sheridan Grant suite which was just lovely! and enjoyed discovering the secret room! The wedding itself was just perfect… very well organised and went like clockwork! Had some fab photos taken outside and even though it was raining, we really didn't care! Thank you so much to the whole team for all your hard work, but special thanks to Bethany for booking everything and looking after us in the run up to the big day, Lyn who checked us in, Maria who took care of our dinner reservations and then the entire wedding reception service along with Anna, Sophie and the rest of the bar team for great service and smiles, Sarah at breakfast this morning and last but not least Kenny who seemed to know everything there is to know about the hotel and looked after us each night and on check out. We really have had the most amazing and perfect time and we thank you all greatly (sorry if I've missed anyone, especially the lovely girl from Carlisle who we spoke to in the bar on Tuesday night… didn't catch her name).
