Absolutely wonderful place will definitely book again, owner is very pleasant and friendly, the grounds are beautiful and rooms are lovely, breakfast was fab, and well prepared and organised.

Very friendly host spotless clean food was great already booked for next year.

What a lovely B&B. My daughter and I had the best nights sleep before our long journey home, the breakfast was perfect, veggie option for my my daughter (very rare). Such a pretty and well kept place. Thank you Dumfries Villa, Thank you Dumfries x.

Lovely clean room, good size with a comfortable double bed. Small but functional bathroom. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Easy to find in the town by car and only 100yds from the Train station. Town center is a ten minute walk away. The host is polite and non intrusive. I would recommend this b&b and would stay here again if I was in the area.

Had the single bed room with separate bathroom… a bit small hence the 4 stars, but can't complain for the price and the sumptuous breakfast included. Owner/staff were very friendly. Easy walk to town. Recommended.

A very cosy accommodation, nice and cosy and a very tasty rich breakfast. There's something for everyone. Colin is a very friendly host who has given us a lot of good tourist information. Thank you for the lovely time.

Just had a lovely two night stay, very enjoyable the proprietor could not have been more helpful lovely breakfast, clean and spacious room and very close to the town centre, I will definately return to Dumfries Villa next time I'm visiting that area.

This B&B is in a perfect location, close to the train station and to the city centre. The rooms are nice, spacious, clean with good shower/toilet. With typical English breakfast there is an vegetarian option. No special options for vegans though so bring your own milk alternatives. The owner is helpful a friendly. All in all very good service!

Overall ok but stayed in better, few cobwebs in the room couple of bulbs out.

Excellent B and B. Close to everything with onsite parking. Very competitive prices.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1 year ago today I began my stay at Dumfires Villa as I was studying in the town. I couldn't recommend it any higher!
All rooms are very clean, warm, homely and equipped with everything you require.
Breakfast is delicious, always on time and wide variety of food available.
Parking is always available, surroundings and garden is beautiful — only a short walk from the main town.
Colin, the owner, runs this B&B alone and does a tremendous job. Always attending to your needs and as a young girl staying alone, I never felt worried. He was always available if I needed him.
If your planning a trip to Dumfries, you won't be disappointed if you stay here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was welcomed to this lovely friendly bed and breakfast… 7 of us in three rooms and they were all as clean as each other… the breakfast was yum yum… definately recommended… will ve calling there again when we return to uk for a holiday xxx.

Travelled through Dumfries and Galloway to carry out family research and booked into the Dumfries Villa for two nights. Met by owner who was very helpful with directions to local archives, graveyards and libraries. Room was a very good size, spotlessly clean with good layout. Room 3. Close to places to eat and local pubs.
