Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized room. Bar area has lots of room and a pool table. A++++++++++

We stayed here for 1 night during our bike trip in Scotland. When we arrived I thought it was a very old place.
But inside it was a typical old school bar. Great service, very big clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice barman. Good breakfast by choice. It was a pleasant stay.

The Milton is located on a two-lane road, rather noisy. The rooms are clean and the condition is okay. The staff friendly. We checked in there because it's dog friendly. The breakfast was very rich, tasteful but only okay. All in all just one stay for one night quickly stay to sleep.

Easy to find, lovely staff, rooms ok some rubbish left on top of the shower unit that wasn't ours, bar shuts early, nice breakfast.

Rooms smelled of damp, bar closed at 10pm, made to feel unwelcome by the owners, couldn't wait to get us out if the bar so they could close. Bar manager was very nice though.

Went to a family function lastnight, venue was lovely, atmosphere was great, bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced drinks. Would defo recommend as a venue.

Room was lovely, room was cleaned and made up everyday. Only issue was the door to the building was left unlock all evening. Rooms had individual locks but it made using the corridors in the evening uncomfortable.

This is a great place for a short stay. Food is simple but good quality and the portion size is very generous. Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Don't expect "posh", do expect a warm welcome.

Room looks nice, but the walls are thin. Cold shower, lady on the desk took payment for both room I'd booked before I had arrived, when I booked on the phone I was told it was a deposit in case I didn't turn up. I questioned this with the receptionist and she told me this was company policy. Not true as I stayed here two weeks ago, and paid for my room after my stay.

Closed at 10.00pm on a Saturday night because it was quiet, owner was not interested, very bizarre.

Great lovley pub wish they still done food though.

Stayed here for 2 nights, fantastic friendly staff and Room was excellent felt like we were staying in a suite. Highly recommended for overnight stay. Only down fall was no food available at night, however was directed by friendly staff to nearest restaurant or we were able to order takeaway. Breakfast was 10/10 and staff very accommodating to our every need.

A bit grotty but lovely people and the breakfast was great. What did I expect for this cost near Glasgow.

Large room, friendly people. Can be noissy as it's near the road, but I slept on the other side of the house.

Had a fab night here last night. We arrived and were disappointed the kitchen was shut but the lovely lady working told us we could order in takeaway and she'd give us cutlery and plates. So glad she did! Had a lovely Chinese. The staff couldn't have been more helpful than they were. Lovely room and very comfy bed. Fab full scottish breakfast this morning as well. Defo recommend and we will be back next time we want a hotel in the area.

The owner is a horrible man, with money as his only motivation. Food is terrible, and drinks are warm. And the price?! Shocking! Dont waste time with this one.

Stayed last night with my wife and 2 dogs…
I was expecting noise as it's an Inn… Couldn't have been more wrong. We were in room 16, in a cottage on site. Very good sized room, all four of us were comfortable. Ventilation or damp needs attending to. Close to nice walks.
Staff all well mannered and polite, which was excelling for a small pub.
Water in shower was boiling, that's a plus.
Breakfast service was good.
Good value for money too and only 30 easy mins to Glasgow.
I'd happily stay again.

The inn is on a very busy dual carriageway, with fairly constant road noise. The staff are friendly and the bedrooms are nice though. The room we stayed in had thin walls and you could clearly hear the other guests stomping and slamming doors at all hours!

Rooms were excellent. Staff friendly. Would def recommended.

Very tasty food and first class menu. Enjoyed the food greatly. Only downside was an over eager waitress who wanted to clear table too quickly but this didn't really detract from the meal.

A really nice place to stop at, rooms are very clean the beds were comfy the food was the best I have tasted in years, you get more than enough food, we were late getting in and they kept the kitchen open so we could have some food, the best beer, great breakfast, the staff were very polite and friendly, I would recommend this hotel anytime, prices are very good, and I hope to stop there again, from the three lads from Shropshire, thank you.

Good quality, very clean large rooms at a good price. Staff were very friendly and served very tasty, hearty food at a reasonable price. Inn is positioned well for Loch Lomond and the Highlands and despite being close to the busy road there is very little traffic noise in the rooms. The Inn is dog-friendly and there is a large area including fields at the back for exercising pups. The rooms were spotlessly clean abd there was plenty of hot water for a bath or a shower. For 60-70 pounds you'd expect something more basic so its excellent value here.
