Clean toilets. Safe playground. Immaculately kept grounds. Everything we could ask for. Plus perfect location! Balloch has so much to offer. Parks, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and sea life centre.

Great sight been many times staff are great and sight is kept immaculate fab location. was there with my friends the first time without my husband The sight is so well laid out it was easy peasy.

We have stayed here 3 times over the past 18 months and each time our experience just gets better and better! Have absolutely loved their welcoming touch for our Xmas break — lights and heating on for a warm and cosy feel, Xmas tree sparkling in the lounge and an incredibly thoughtful welcome note and set of Jenga gifted for our stay! I have stayed at Lomond Woods many times
over the years. I’ve just recently come back after a four year gap and it’s fantastic as ever. The lodge is always immaculate and the staff are super helpful and friendly, especially Trisha. I’ll be making another booking again shortly. I highly recommend Lomond Woods.

Good location super clean and quiet area… providing u are not sleeping near the wall… Next to dual carriage way… 4th time here with my dogos… love it.

8 police officers who must have been humiliated being called for a child’s game.
My 40th birthday was ruined!
We stuck to the lengthy rules my sister was being charged an extra £50 they said there was too many people in and out the Hot Tub would you believe NO RULES printed anywhere to say you would be charged for people in a hot tub!

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful place from 6-10 August. Very clean facilities. We had a pitch that flooded a bit due to torrential rain but drained away quite quickly. Would really recommend a visit. We will be back!

Excellent site for the family. Pool table, air hockey and a few kiddie indoor sit and rides. The camping pods where ideal size.

loads to do also out within the park loch lomond shores short walk away with loads to do. Loads of eating places spoilt for choice :)

Fantastic how the wardens take a walk round and are very friendly, my caravan was spot on for me and my 2 daughters, so glad I got booked here on the wanted dates. Everything is of walking distance. Have stayed in their Deeside holiday park too and that was beautiful so will definately will be coming back. Highly recommended.

Spent 4 days here. Holiday home was spotlessly clean Warm and comfortable. Fully equipped for our needs. Will return next year. Our little dog was welcome too.

Good location — easy to walk to town and the Loch. 5 min walk to nearest convenience store. Dog friendly. Had a two night stay and would recommend again — hope to come back!

Nice quiet site except for the over revving motorbikes and numerous sirens. The site it tidy, clean well maintained. Pitches are well spaced pebble topped with a hard foundation standard round pegs bent when being hammered in other campers had problems. The 8" nail type worked fine.

We had a great stay here. The plot we had was equipped with a 240v hook up and was very close to a toilet and shower block which was amazingly clean and modern. This block also had two points for cleaning toilet cassettes, one an auto cleaning machine which cost £2, the other a large toilet bowl for disposal and hose. There are taps for water distributed across the park, and we were less than 10m from one. The location is great with only a 10 minute walk to the Lomond Shores and one minute to a pub!

Beautifully maintained site. The caravan we had hired was almost brand new and had everything you could possibly want. Would highly recommend. We asked reception if they had a small outdoor table we could possibly use. 20 minutes later a full blown picnic table and benches arrived. Very impressed.

A thorouhly great stay and site to visit again. My dogs enjoyed the beach a short walk from the camp.

Beautiful holiday park caters for all from pods to log cabins also has caravan and tent pitches. Our caravan was Lovely, beds made up and everything you would need for the week will come again!

A beautiful and calm place to stay with your family and friends. They have all sorts of cottages which are very comfortable to live in.

Arrived on Monday in Campervan. Site excellent plenty room between Hard standing pitches. Facilities excellent kept to a high standard. One has a bath, great cost£1 for 3mins of piping hot water, then add some cold lovely to relax in after a long hike. Balloch is nice too eating places near site & trips up the Loch. Also Lomond shore 5 mins from site with a Jenners & some other nice shops cafe & restaurant as well as water activities. Certainly recommend.

What a wonderful place this is, beautiful are so the living accommodation, and prices were very good, especially 4 people who can, t afford the very expensive B&B, s n hotels. U can never find something to do, when u think u, ve seen all the places outside the holiday home u find something else, I recommend lomond woods very highly, weekends are very lucky 2 get a "pod" as they call them, in all different shapes n sizes n of course u can take ur motor home, all in all if u do want wk end, I would really advice u 2 book in advance! My only, n very small issue was with the heating, lucky 4 me the weather was fabulous but at night, it got very cold. Arrin at my pod their were lots of beds but no bedding, It does mention something about bedding, but they didn, t mention anything about this when I rented the premises, that was my only fault, as 4 the rest 1st class, very friendly and welcoming, I had a fantastic weekend n will definitely be going back, if they, ll have me.

Very well maintained facility, the showers and toilet's are freshly renovated. Washing machines, dryers — everything top!

Location: At Dumbarton, not far from Loch Lomond. A Leisure centre (Shops & Café 's, boat trips & water sports) on the lake is a few minutes "walk away.
Next door: MacDonalds, Asian. Restaurant.

Fab campsite. Lots of local attractions within walking distance, dog friendly pub just few mins away… loch cruises… train station too (All dog friendly). Clean toilets and showers and polite and helpful staff. I will definately be returning.

Stayed last year and loved it. Stunning location with plenty of nice places to visit close by. Can't wait to return.

Easy to find and nice to stay. We had book two camping pods in march 2018. The camping pods are well isolated and equiped with micro wave, air heater and fridge. We stay two nights by approx. Two degree outside. You need only a normal sleeping bag and some minutes operating of the air heater in camping pod 4. In Camping pod 2 is a electrical heater with temperature control — very comfortable. The toilets and shower area is well cleaned and have enough space for a lot of people. Recommendation.

We found this holiday park to be off. Very high standard the staff were very helpful we would recommend this holiday park.

Nice site with good facilities. Balloch has some nice walks and good views of Loch Lomond. Didn't appreciate the extra charge for having a dog.

New Year getaway! Very handy site and as it is open all year and within walking distance to the town! Basic facilities for tourers and campers, lovely cabins some with hot tubs which is always nice! Pitches are all a very good size but are not level also are very prone to flooding which isn't all that great if you have an awning up! Especially at this time of year when we are prone to rain and snow! Staff are friendly enough we have never had any problems with them and as we return year after year it is obviously ok!

Those PODs are something else, amazing overnight stay, the park itself is basic but lovely.

Amazing place… I was suprised by the high standard of cleanliness and luxury interior of caravan. You are in the middle of Scottish park but you live in a 5 star hotel. 10 min walk from Lake and train station. 30-40 min by taxi from Glasgow airport (35 pounds). I wish I could spend more time there. Scottish people are rather nice and helpful. It's funny when you life in London and then you travel to little Balloch. When walking around the town every single person will say "hi" to you. For sure that is popular tourist place, therefore prices are rather high.

Nice site, good amenities and really well located with short walks to Balloch, local pubs and restaurants and shopping at Lomond Shores. Only disappointment was that we were there in November when temperatures were very low and the roads in the site were not gritted (small path to toilet block was but nothing else). The road, which you need to walk on to get in and out of the site, was a sheet of ice, and 3 of our group fell. One gentleman hurt his ribs quite badly. Real shame as grit was obviously available but just not used. Dampened our weekend somewhat with friends being hurt.

Second visit and though the location is great, the staff don't really get the customer service thing. First visit they cut the power to the laundry — locking our wash in an immobilised machine, and this time they took the chemical toilet point down for routine maintenance without any warning! Both times, a little customer service could have prevented inconvenience…

Just came home from a lovely 4 days at Lomond woods we stayed in one of the lodges there was 4 adults & 3 kids & there was plenty room for us all. Great location a lovely family pub within a 5 minute walk & not far to walk to Loch Lomond. Would highly recommend this holiday park & would love to return again x.

Lovely location. The staff are friendly. The cabins are spacious clean and comfortable. Very close to Loch Lomond and walking distance from Lomond Castle. Plenty of areas for walking. Lots of restaurants around to enjoy nights out. Lovely experience.

I've been using lomond woods for years clean. Tidy toilet block always immaculate handy base for traveling west coast staff always welcoming and helpful that's why we always come back only criticism is could do with some more stuff for kids.

Stayed for two nights in a 6p 'pod'. Was excellent, had Some heavy rain but slept nice warm and dry. Some kitchen facilities are insight, rest in direct area.

Nice holiday park, clean facilities. Stayed in one of the large 6p pods. More than enough space and excellent when it its raining a lot.

Great place to stay when visiting the area, friendly staff, clean facility. Wifi was not connecting due to the weekend load on system. Coming to think about it, its great so you get to spend more time with the people around you rather than the phone ;)

Nice camping, quiet, good distance between caravans, with all the amenities. Area with a lot of options.

Nice clean campsite, mostly static and touring caravans with some pods available as well. Small but decent children's play park.

Camping friendly and strategically located to visit many places around. Clean and comfortable bathrooms. Only drawback: To enter all the domain parts follows a key and is provided only one. So in 5 it was a little uncomfortable.

Just back from a great weekend with out tourer. This is a very quiet well kept site with superb spotless toilet block. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend this site.

Facilities are good, but not outstanding. In the shower you press a button but only get about 10 secs before it goes off; bit of a faff. The site has glamping pods, lodges, statics but is mostly touring pitches. Pitches are a reasonable size, all gravel hard standing with grass between. All site roads are tarmac. Ramps would be good to have as the site slopes slightly. Some road noise from A82. Good reception staff and explanation. Site is well situated for access to both sides of the loch and for trips up the A82. Good place for families, playground, games room and space to play and ride safely. Many small dogs, but quite a few not on leads. Recycling bins available but all overflowing as were the refuse bins at times.

Lovely park, very clean. The toilets and showers were great, and free! The one thing that let the showers down for me was the push and slow release button to start the shower. It switches off far too quickly. Literally seconds. Other than that it was great. Really enjoyed it.

We enjoyed it — conveniently located.

We drove up From London in our motor home. We was going to go deep into the Highlands to stay but used Lomond Woods as a pit stop over night. We liked it so much we stayed there for 4 nights instead. The toilet/shower & bath block are spotlessly clean. Lovely heated room so you're not cold when you get out. And the views are out of this world! You're 10 mins away from the shops, pubs & takeaways. Everything in one area. A great place to stay. We will Definitely be back.

Had a lovely relaxing 7 days here, turn up for my nephew wedding and met up with most of the family, the only sour point was they shut the gates at eleven O'clock which can be a bit of a pain if you've gone to a wedding and john O'groats and our lodge was at the back of the park lol, that said we would go back and would recommend to our friends and family. £6 return to Glasgow from Balloch train station just a short walk, next door was the Lomond Shores shops, food and cruise on Loch Lomond. The views from the A82 up to fort Williams are just breath taking. Would have been five stars but having to walk to the back of the park at 11:30pm after a six hour and 268 miles is not my idea of fun :-) ****.

Very good and pleasant accommodation first class.
