I had the privilege of spending a brilliant weekend at Carronvale House on 11th and 12th August for a YouthBank Scotland Exploring Youth Leadership Residential. I can't thank the staff enough for how helpful they were and how they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure all our needs were catered for. The accommodation was spotless, the food was excellent, the outside space is amazing and I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a really wonderful place to host a residential. Hope to come back very soon and big thanks to all staff who looked after us!

Attended Carronvale House with a national youth organisation, YouthBank Scotland. It was a second time visit for us. Comfortable accommodation, tasty home made food and flexible meeting rooms for our diverse programme. Bedrooms are straight forward with all but 2 are ensuite. Helpful, friendly and caring staff. The beautiful surroundings make outside work and recreation in the fresh air possible, if the weather permits. There is even a putting course. I am sure we will be back again!

I have hired the house on several occasions and it was always a pleasant experience. Very nice venue with reasonable prices, friendly staff and good access for disabled persons.

Amazing service they provide and lovely lunch with unlimited tea and coffee all day, really loved having this place as the venue for our training.

Carronvale House is an excellent facility in beautiful grounds. The facilities are modern and the functions rooms are set up with conference facilities for groups from half a dozen to about 80! The location is great within walking distance of the train and with ample parking, it's less than ten minutes from the motorway. Rooms are basic but functional, bathrooms are clean and the food is perfectly adequate, although if you get the steak pie it's outstanding! Carronvale is perfect for church groups, alpha holy spirit away days, small/medium businesses and many other events and meetings. I can throughly recommend it, it's a gem.

I am from the 3rd aberdeen Boys Brigade did my queens badge at carronvale house I was worried about going and staying but got to say 1 hour after arrival and it starting to feel like a second home.

One of the best places I've been. Accommodation, sports facilities, meeting spaces, catering and staff are all excellent!

Well what to say about Carronvale House, we went to Carronvale almost every year over 25 years with our Company. Camps/world mission trips to almost every District in Scotland/training/KGVI/ our boys loved it many having their own special rooms. We could walk in and feel at home, the welcome over the years were always great. Different staff came and went. Looking back to Alex Mac l arran, David Brown, Rev H Moore. Ian maclaughlin. And of course Tom Boyle.
It's a place the Boys Brigade should always take great pride in. We sent boys there to KGVI who came back as young men, changed many for ever. Sitting on the stairs as the house settled for the night will always be a special memory. Thanks for memories, may your work continue to Bless many young people. I did all my training at Felden Lodge, many years ago, but I'll bet Carronvale is every bit as good!

Use to go there with a group every summer for over seven years. Booking a month after for the next year. A year before the commonwealth games. When I went to book again I was told the spot we normally had was given to someone else, when I asked for any other dates in the school holidays the answer was no"we can make more money from other groups". When I asked about the following year I was told we only take bookings in March of that year. Given we lost our place a year in advance I was very surprised. I found the manager unhelpful suggesting we should try else where. The staff I can't praise enough given the relationship our group had with them, they helped to make the holiday.
