Shower bar was broken, room was above the dining area with thumping music until 10pm. Got a decent sleep, eventually! :)

Have been staying at this lodge for many years, love its location. Great breakfasts. For the first time new owners are serving evening meals. Found menu to be a bit fussy & not a great amount of choice. Would've enjoyed a much simpler menu. Hopefully will be back later on in the year. Wish the new owners the best of luck. Would recommend for a great stay.

Beautiful building and gorgeous rooms. Very clean, comfortable and well taken care of. Our meals were especially good. Everything we tried from the restaurant was SO flavorful and delicious. Can’t wait to come back for another visit. I really liked the monkey puzzle tree in the front garden :)

Had a two night stay with breakfast. The room was lovely, very quiet and absolutely spotless. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is great, a really easy walk into town. The most impressive thing however was the food. We had dinner the first night and breakfast both mornings and the meals were fantastic. Plenty to eat and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

Oh this is such a lovely place. I love the decor and charm. The gentleman who ran the front desk was really nice and helpful.
We had dinner and breakfast here and both were delicious. I had monkfish wrapped in bacon, yum! They were very accommodating to my food allergy request.

There is only one word that best describes this amazing place. ' Faultless ' From checking in, to checking out… Dina and Dave were so welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. The room was beautiful and so so clean. Welcome gifts of Scottish fudge too. The bed even had two swans shaped out of towels on the bed, and fresh rose petals. The bed was extremely comfortable, great nights sleep had by us both.
The best bit for me was definitely the breakfast, I have to follow a strict gluten free diet and usually find it very difficult when stopping away from home. Not here, the array of different breakfast items was incredible. Fresh fruits, 5 different types of gluten free cereals including gluten free hot porridge, meats and cheeses, and a wonderful English breakfast including gluten free sausages, and gluten free toast. The gluten free toast and hot porridge was brought to me by the lovely lady chef herself, who also brought me some gluten free cookies. Again, I was made to feel it was no trouble at all.
All the staff we met were very polite and welcoming. We will definitely stop again, even if we have to go out of our way when stopping in Scotland. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you for such a fantastic stay xx.

What a lovely place to stay! The house is surrounded by beautiful trees, global design inside is as cosy as the room, and the breakfast… the best I ever had!

Absolutely stunning rooms, friendly staff and owners, a few minutes walk from main street where there are fabulous pubs and cafes, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back!

I stayed here last night, it is beautiful. The rooms are immaculate and decorated to high standard. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Incredible breakfast, impeccable service. Bottom line: 140-wide bed, scent edgy far too strong and thus giving head words! Putting the bottle outside or removing the locks and locking them in a closet improves the situation!

Excellent accommodations, and the best breakfast of our trip! We were warmly received at the front door, despite being quite muddy from our hike through the bogs on a day where it rained more than not. Our room was quite lovely, and we liked that we could place our breakfast order the night before. It was by far the best breakfast we had during our two-week trip. The only regret was that we got full or I would've certainly had more of the pancakes topped with blueberries! The dining area was filled with the morning light, and there was a fabulous selection of food beyond what we'd ordered. The coffee machine also allowed us to have espresso, lattes, mochas or whatever we desired. The staff was so pleasant and we hated to leave.

Outstanding, literally. A clear head above the rest. Attention to detail, especially in hospitality and dining. Hostess couldn't have been more charming. And clearly someone knows what they're doing in the kitchen. We've been to countless B&Bs, and The Abbotsford is doing a better job than almost all.

Just returned after a 3 night stay at Abbotsford Lodge. What a wonderful experience! My husband booked us the superior double room for my birthday and it was lovely. At breakfast, the staff sang happy birthday to me as they carried out a chocolate cake. Later in the day when we returned to our room there was a chilled bottle of bubbly and a card signed by all the staff. I can't begin to tell you how special they all made me feel on a birthday that was a "big one"! I will never forget their kindness and can't wait to come back in the future!

Beautiful Victorian building tastefully decorated. Hostess was helpful, professional and solicitous. Beds were comfortable. Room was immaculate and a sumptious breakfast was had the following morning. A small garden area for a bit of solitude and a spacious lounge to spend time in away from our room. A shared bathroom was no problem especially in such a nice place.

Wonderful b&b with beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated property and an amazing breakfast! Very friendly and helpful host and staff. Recommend it for a stay in Callander!

We had a wonderful stay at Abbotsford Lodge during our honeymoon trip. Dina and Dave were so friendly hosts and showed us everything what we needed. The room was superb. The breakfast was simply stunning. Everything was freshly cooked and had a delicious taste. We were a little bit sad when we had to leave. But we will definitely come back. I have now stayed here several times during business trips. Can't fault it one of the best B&B's in Scotland.

Very friendly and helpful staff, you can tell the owners genuinely enjoy running this lodge. Breakfast is excellent. Room and bathroom was very clean, with comfortable beds. All in all this place beats most five star hotels I've been to!

This is a fantastic bed & breakfast stay! Clean, good atmosphere in the lounge with whisky tasting, breakfast is better than 5 stars!

5th April (My Birthday) overnight stay after a few visits previously to the lodge. Room 5, very spacious and very well appointed. It's the little things that truly matter: Tunnocks Carmel Wavers, sewing kit, toothbush/paste, USB charging at the power points, and plenty of tea/coffee. Your hosts are excellent and a very welcoming couple who make you feel at home. Great nights sleep in a very comfy bed only bettered by the breakfast in the morning. Great eating experience and you are spoilt for choice from fresh fruit to home made breads. Typical Scottish breakfast was excellent. Really cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want the best price available then contact the owner (Dave) direct by phone or email. Truly the best was to book your stay — go direct!

Best BandB in the area, everything has been refreshed recently and has a high quality finish. The rooms are spacious and hosts were delightful.

Great little B&B, really nice modern and recently refurbished decor throughout, great breakfast now included in the price. My partner and I met the new owner (had only been there a few days) and would happily stay there again if in the area. Only thing it needs going forwards is a newer TV (was an old non flat screen model) and perhaps boost Wi-Fi signal in upper floors (ours was fine but we were on first floor) … Overall two thumbs up so to speak…

Nice B+B and very handy for the Trossachs. Good continental breakfast spread included though you pay extra for cooked. Our room was comfortable but expensive given that it had a shared bathroom, the room was rather over due a decorative refresh, a TV with a screen smaller than an iPad and the Wi-Fi didn't work beyond the lobby area. The hosts were delightful and the area was lovely though.
