Great Hotel very clean and staff are very helpful lovely food stayed years ago a few times never any complaints went with my husband had a great few days will be back soon.

Absolutely horrible hotel! Staff are rude, ignorant and just plain horrible. You would have a more enjoyable stay under a bridge. If you don’t want to take my word for it have a look at these others who most definitely agree.

Absolutely the worst
Place I’ve ever stayed. Staff were so rude unhelpful. Avoid at all cost and spend your well earned money elsewhere where you get service you deserve.

Since the bar opened I have to say service is ridiculously slow and it's not to say they've been overly busy. Staff have been seen to gather at the bar for a chat whilst the paying punter waits in disgust. Been going here 1to 2 times a week and not sure whether we will be back. Been going there for years too.

The staff makes it and the food great What more can I say well if you don't visit it you will be missing out.

Fantastic hotel! Stayed here for the night and couldn't fault the place, staff were so friendly and helpful, our room was beautifully decorated and our meal in the restaurant was one of the nicest we have had, will definitely be back!

Amazing service as soon as you walk through the door! All staff are so friendly and helpful and food is amazing! Rooms are immaculate!

The bistro is well worth a visit. Fabulous food, very well presented and tasting amazing. I had crab for starter and hake for main. Oth excellent. The supper club meant it was only £15 for 2 courses!

Stayed in the hotel once and I have to say the restaurant was superb the staff were first class and the fact that there was 2 different options for music with there being 2 night clubs that night left me thinking ill be back.

Had my wedding reception here at the end of August. Could not recommend it enough, the staff couldn’t do enough to help, food was beautiful. The managers Clare and Laura and assistant restaurant manager Chris were absolutely brilliant.

The hotel was comfortable wit a very nice pub And restaurant. It was also easy to access main roads to explore northern Ireland and the free state. The old walled portion of Derry was not a short walk and a vehicle would be recommended.

You can normally walk straight off the street and get a table at most times. This might give you some concern, but don't let it fool you, the food, drink, atmosphere and service are all great. I dine here a LOT and will do for many years, as they deliver each time.

The room on the ground floor, though decently sized, had opaque glass. Which means there was no sunlight that ever entered the room, and definitely no view. The taps in the bathroom need an upgrade (don't mix hot and cold water properly). And, the corridors also smelt of detergent. Wi-Fi speed was average — images would barely load. Breakfast was quite decent though (for an extra charge).

The staff were friendly and so helpful. I was there for a concert during the Jazz Festival. My favourite band The Dualers were playing. It was one of the best nights of my life. The hotel was lovely. Only gripe was that we were looking to be fed and the kitchen was closed. Should be good available for guests 24 7. Shouldn't be closed by 7pm. I would recommend the hotel and will stay here again. Thank you so much for a great night.

Great food, good service, nice clean room. View is of some industrial yards, but the river beyond it is really nice. Parking is easy and free. Staff were very nice. Would recommend.

Amazing service. Couldn't fault anything with the service. Staff were very nice and helpful and also went the extra mile to facilitate my requests which I'm very grateful for. We had lunch at the bar which was very nice but sadly their mojitos need a bit more work. Breakfast was lovely. Not a wide selection but you can get everything you need. It would be helpful thought to have the items labelled in case out of town guests aren't familiar with the Irish cuisine. Room was spacious and very clean and shower ran very hot. There's a handy taxi booking app at the reception which I thought was fantastic. In all, an amazing night and would definitely be coming back in the future.

Nice place to stay not far from town nice 15 to 20 minutes walk along river. Nice bar and good food.

Went to lunch lovely burning fire just made it more like home staff friendly food delightful just what we needed.

Location great… friendly and helpful staff. We were dissappointed on the breakfast. Good choice but very untidy no glasses or cups. Had to ask for butter and the tables we re needing cleared. Plenty of food but some of it was cold.

Good hotel and great on site facility. The breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious and clean. I'm only giving a 4 starts because our rooms was just on top of a sort of noisy generator so maybe if you stay there, ask for a parking facing room.

This is the second time we've been here love this hotel the staff are brilliant & really helpful. Good central location to the city.

Very well priced. Food in restaurant excellent. Bar food very good too. Great atmosphere in bar and good choices at good prices. Room very nice and staff very friendly.

Stayed overnight on business, efficient service and good sized room. Large car park. I think that there is entertainment at week ends so maybe a little noisier than in the week.

This is a good hotel in the city. Close to the centre, with helpful friendly staff, clean rooms with plenty of hot water at a constant pressure, so no having to do the shower dance when it goes extra hot or freezing cold. The bar is well stocked and well staffed at the right times of day and night. Food is good and served in a well presented manor. This is not the ritz, but it is very good value for money.

Stayed here for my daughter's 30th birthday party, there was 21 girls, the staff were so helpful and very accommodating as I phoned about 4 times to change rooms, which was never a problem. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant, the staff decorated the tables for me and made us all feel right at home, the food was amazing. We all had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it, we will definitely be staying here again.

Found it difficult to get served at bar. The bar was almost empty and there was 3 tenders behind the bar yet they chose to stand at the opposite side of the bar from all their customers. Had to walk around to other side to get their attention on numerous occasions where they were leaning over counter talking to each other. Not great.

Food very poor _£6 for a toasted sandwich, chips under done and cold. Staff tried their best.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere… I had fish and chips, the tarter sauce wasn't great (think it was salad cream in disguise) and the portion of chips was very small about 5 chips lol — the kids meal are not great — you have to choose chips/spuds or veg which always annoys me as should be both. The staff great with the kids though and they get colouring straight away. My dad got sea food chowder which looked amazing and my partner got the chorizo pasta which he said was good too. I would come back for the friendly atmosphere.

The hotel is located at the end of the river promenade and is well endowed in its facilities. The only thing is that to go for a walk and the night falls have to pass through more or less dark areas.

Really nice hotel, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Bar and restaurant on site, however was disappointed to find that they stopped serving food at 8pm and we had to go out to find dinner after a long drive. Not as close to the city centre as I expected.

A perfectly fine, middle-of-the-road hotel, at least from my perspective. You don't get a room safe, and the towel heater in the bathroom works on a sporadic schedule (which is important when you are washing/drying socks and such on a long trip). I'm not complaining, because I expect to get what I pay for, and I'm sure our tour was looking for very reasonably priced hotels for our trip. It was great for a bed and a shower for a couple of nights. The hotel restaurant was definitely slow in serving our group, which adds to my overall opinion.

Food was perfectly cooked. Reasonably priced so suits everyone's budget. Average cost for Sunday Roast — £7.95. Very enjoyable.

Great hotel. Conveniently located: Next to airporter (bus to Belfast airports) and in walking distance from the historic part of Derry. Breakfast is good and offers a lot of choices. But no on-site gym!

Stayed here for the weekend the staff were very helpful and the room was spotless, this is a lovely place to stay and price was good, enjoyed it and would come back again and recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic 4 nights b/b all staff were terrific couldn't do enough for us rooms were large and spotlessly clean meals in the restaurant and gastro menu in the bar were great and reasonably priced overall experience was terrific and we will definitely be back.
