Fantastic staff and the room was spotless.

We had a lovely two night stay friendly staff great breakfast lovely room ideal for a relaxing break definitely would stay again.

Used it all summer, really helpful staff.

I organised my formal here for last night (11th of June 2022) and I could not recommend it enough! The hotel staff were absolute stars! The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was immaculate! 💜 I'd love to say a massive thank you to Chiree who was so accommodating and helped us plan the perfect formal! And to Michelle for setting up the tables for us! It was a lovely night and we really enjoyed ourselves! if you're planning a formal — book the Maldron! 💜

The staff was amazing. Shannon at the front desk was a delight and so very helpful. My friends and I were on a trip from America and we felt very much at home. We will be back.

Went for the bottomless brunch last night and it was amazing. Worth every penny. The food was lovely and the bottomless prosecco was fab (and they mean bottomless! ) Aisling, Samantha and Luke could not do enough for us, really a credit to the Maldron.

I hired out a room for the day for 2 events one that day on that evening the staff were amazing they treated us with respect could not do enough to help us — the hotel is clean beautiful and I can not give this place a high enough review thank you to all the staff that made our day run smoothly and I will defo be back. Actually I have already booked it for a second day of events five stars for this hotel xx.

Stayed over one night and the room was lovely, the food was great and every single one of the staff were very friendly. A real homely feel. Honestly couldn’t fault it xx.

First time staying at this hotel, we stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful, clean hotel! All staff, including bar staff were super generous and easily approachable😊 nothing was too big of an ask for anyone! Dinner & breakfast was delicious! Will definitely be back. Thanks again! X.

Just had a beautiful bottomless brunch today… food was delicious. Drinks were fab. No shortage! the staff were the best. Have to mention samantha and Ashleigh. 2 great girls. We'll definitely book again.

Went here last night of the 19.99 package and it was excellent. We got a main and it was so good and then bottomless cocktails for 19.99! the staff are so lovely and were constantly bringing drinks over — you never had to wait! all round it is excellent value for money and a brilliant wee night! Will definitely do this again!

Thanks to the Maldron Hotel for making our evening a special one. We where out on a hen party. We had the Party like it 1999 offer. The food was beautiful, the fish was delicious and the table service was fantastic they kept us topped up for the full 2 hours… cant recommend this offer enough.

1st girls night after lockdown and did the party like its 19.99 couldnt recommend it enough. Food was stunning didnt leave a drop. Drinks were flowing! and staff that could not do enough for us. Cant wait to get back again.

Affordable hotel, friendly staff but left a item after me in the room and when I rang they said it wasn't there so magically disssapeared very disappointing.

The staff are lovely here, we would stay here quite often. The hotel is central and very comfortable. The only thing that's let's it down is the restaurant, the evening meals do t change and to be honest the food is not great.

Had the bottomless brunch yesterday with 2 friends and it was just excellent! Service was to a high standard by Alan. Food was very tasty and drinks were fab! All for a great price too! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Had my wedding here on the 6th June the meal was excellent staff was excellent thanks to kadie and t Clarke who did a wonderful job making my wedding so special would recommend this hotel for a wedding the bridal suite is gorgeous.

Close to all attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. Very helpful and pleasant reception staff.

Went to the Santa Sunday on today and Santa put on a fantastic show for the children he went above and beyond would highly recommend it for anyone with children.

Wonderful place. Superb service. Room spacious and very comfortable. Food was outstandingly good — best bar/pub meals, ever. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and always made sure I wanted for nothing, without being overwhelming. I hope to bring my wife with me for another visit in the near future. A great experience for my first visit to Londonderry.

My wife and I stayed here one night while traveling around Ireland. The room was fine, though with an odd layout with lots of empty space. No air conditioning (like many hotels in Ireland) which made it quite warm due to the heat wave at the time. We tried to leave the windows open to keep cool, but the street was noisy with traffic and voices from nearby pubs. The free parking is first come first serve and limited, so we had to park down the block in a municipal lot. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly enough, but it was not what I would consider a four star hotel.

Great location, friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This hotel is in the centre of town by the walls. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well worth waking up for!

Lovely central hotel, beside all the shops, staff very pleasant and helpful, especially the girls on front desk. The only drawback was no air conditioning in rooms, very uncomfortable with the very hot spell of 30°. Night porter gave us a fan which let us get some sleep. All in, a very enjoyable stay, with car parking under hotel.

Lovely one night stay here. Room was lovely everything in place. Staff were very friendly & helpful. No complaints from me & to coin a phrase "I'll be back".

Arrived at 7pm and hotel was very busy as it was the start of the jazz festival. I couldn’t get parked in the car park as there was a car in front who said it was full. I parked up on the Main Street and decided to book in and I could move the car later. When I checked in the girl at reception asked if I had a car, I replied I parked in the street it’s grand until tomorrow. She quickly told me that I would get a parking ticket and she was finished her shift in 5 minutes and she would run down and move her car and I could park in her place. Was lovely that I didn’t have to get up early and move my car the next morning. When I left that evening to go out for a few drinks the girls in reception pointed me to some lovely bars and I had an enjoyable stay.

Went for afternoon tea with friends from work. Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Unlimited tea and coffee. Had to take some home as there was so much. Beautiful food, staff are lovely and friendly, great value for money. Well worth a visit!

Lots of positives about this hotel 1. Central location near shops, attractions, restaurants and bars 2. Friendly, welcoming helpful staff 3. Lovely spacious rooms with tea, coffee, iron, large bathroom with bath and shower, toiletries, shower caps, tissues, 4 Nice restaurant with special offers if staying in hotel. 5. Bar with great range of food and drinks and a really comfortable and welcoming layout. 6. Large foyer area around reception to relax. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the bus station which has a free shuttle bus running to the train station every 20 minutes past the hour which is great as we didn't want to bring our car in case we didn't get a parking space at the hotel. I would recommend the hotel for convenience, comfort and lovely staff.

Me and my Nana went here for afternoon tea on Friday. Had a lovely afternoon and really tasty food, couldn’t eat it all. So accommodating for elderly, could park underground and get the lift up to reception without dashing through the rain. Lady on FB was so helpful when booking. Nana loved it and would definitely recommend. Hope to be back soon thank u.

Lovely room for 2 adults and one 5 year old Room was comfortable, had a lovely soak in bath Close to the city wall which was perfect for us, walls are great to stroll round and see the city Probably the best / fastest Wi-Fi ever in a hotel I have stayed in We ate in The Lyric Bar which was perfect for our needs Breakfast was great though we had to pay extra for a hot chocolate, which seemed a little pointless. My only negative was the parking situation. Quite rightly there is limited parking we were aware of that when booking first come first served Also aware that there was parking nearby. We arrived about 13.00 parked no problem Too early to check in so went for a wander Our room wasn’t ready at 14.30 and we didn’t get our room till about 15.10. So we went to unload our car while waiting only to find a car blocking us in. We were assured that hotel had owners details for all cars. Later in Day we then found that there were 2 cars blocking us in Both cars were not in designated parking spaces. We were leaving early (9am) following day and notified reception to let car owners know. They only had details for one car which moved that evening I woke up a midnight and found a A4 printout under door asking owner of the car to move it by 8.30 as it wasn’t in a designated space and it was blocking people in needing to leave This did work and owner of said car did luckily move it at 8.

We really enjoyed our stay, we were a large family group traveling to celebrate grandads birthday. Hotel was able to meet the needs of everyone from grandad to grandchildren! The location was ideal very central. Restaurant lovely. Dinner and breakfast gorgeous. Every member of staff we met were truly lovely.

Daughter got us a deal as a gift. Hotel nice, well situated in the City. Clean with pleasant staff. Good spread for breakfast which we really enjoyed. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Although parking not great. First come first served so had to pay for parking and walk a short distance.

Great location, the most friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back for another stay in the future. Have stayed in numerous hotels but this place definitely tops the list for cleanliness comfort, and the price of food was so reasonable.

Stayed at the Maldron for one night on business during March. The hotel was excellent value for money with a very spacious room which was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. If I was returning for business or pleasure I would definitely use the hotel again!

The hotel is in the center of the town/bars. Perfectly situated. The hotel itself has great rooms. Breakfast was lovely and the carvery God was delicious.

Excellent stay from the moment we checked in. Informative and friendly receptionist. Very clean and fresh room with a spotless bathroom equipped with a bath that you can actually lie down in. A room radiator that we could adjust to our requirements. A breakfast that would rival a five star hotel, with the range of foods available and overseen by a friendly and efficient Nellie. Food in the restaurant was well priced with a good range on offer and helped by a lovely Michelle who served us. Couldn't fault our stay and the 15% discount card for food and drink was appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maldron Hotel and have stayed there numberous times. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty. The bedrooms are lovely and warm and the beds are very comfortable to stay in. Looking forward to staying there again.

Had a brilliant weekend in Londonderry… couldn’t believe how central to shops, bars, restaurants AND Derry’s Walls, that the Hotel is! … our room was spacious and very comfortable, staff were friendly and efficient, especially the wee blond haired girl in the dining room, didn’t get her name, but nothing was too much trouble for her, thankyou! … large choice of food for breakfast that sets you up for a day of sightseeing around the City… loved everything about the Maldron, and will most definitely be back… x.

Brilliant hotel, central location, staff all very friendly and accommodating! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade too. We booked the bed n breakfast with free 2 course dinner and wine which was absolutely beautiful! Great breakfast too. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Really great stay here. Can I just say, the guy servinh breakfast was just lovely. So polite and enjoyed his work. I think he was from New Zealand. Breakfast was so good too!

We stayed here for 1 night, we found the location of the hotel to be excellent, right beside the bars & shops. The room was very spacious and clean, couldn't fault it. The night porters/staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The same unfortunately cannot be said for the reception staff, we found them to be most unhelpful and dis-interested. A Customer Service course may be of some benefit here. The car park was also an issue, very limited spaces, had to park a bit away with pay & display, which was a little inconvenient. On the plus side, the food in the restaurant was nice & the staff in the restaurant were friendly. Would definately stay again!

First of all, the staff were all superb, without exception. I am thinking of reception, bar and then restaurant staff at breakfast. They were all very attentive and pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. One problem. My room was cold and I didn’t know how to do anything about it, so just put up with it. It’s the sort of place I would really like to re-visit next time I’m in the Walled City (or any of your other locations).

We were pleasantly surprised. This hotel was really comfortable with a really nice bed and the room size was great. It’s located right next to the town wall so very central. The dinner was really tasty and well-priced and there was a wide variety of food on offer for breakfast too. For the price, we felt this represented a great value stay too.

Just had one night at the Maldron in Derry… first impressions on entry to the hotel were that the hotel was a few years old… however, staff were helpful, room (on the second floor) was spacious and very comfortable. Had a very good sleep no noise at all.
Breakfast was the icing on the cake so to speak… lots of choice, well cooked and well presented. Staff were attentive and very pleasant.
Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for two nights. Upon check in my room was not yet ready. I was offered a complimentary cup of tea while I waited (no more than 15 minutes) in the tastefully appointed lobby. My room was bright and quite spacious. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and updated. Hotel location could not be better — right inside the city walls and within walking distance from everything. Staff were most professional and friendly especially Sheree at the front desk. Breakfast was a good value at £7 — lots of hot and cold food including many healthy options. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed in Maldron Derry with 4 friends recently. Very impressed with hotel and staff. We stayed during the time Hurricane Ophelia was forecast and while Derry City and surrounding areas and all transportation came to a standstill we were very comfortable and safe in hotel. Staff were wonderful and provided delicious food for guests and ensured all our needs were met. If I could just mention Linda, Gemma, Katie and Jason who provided an excellent service to our group. Thank you so much.

12 of us has a lovely stay for my mum's hen (she's renewing her vows… 50 years married to my daddy) Great hotel, brill location. Food absolutely devine, both evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Waiting staff could have been more attentive and that's all. But would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! We came from Sydney Australia. Nellie in the breakfast bar was amazing and very attentive and helpful. Great staff and fantastic location! A must stay.

Hotel appearance on arrival was good. Rooms clean and bright. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Only down points (and this is prob just me being fussy) were looking out window crisp packets, cotton buds and other rubbish lying on roof. Bed was very hard for my liking and the hair dryer wasn't the greatest but did the job in the end.

This is a lovely hotel and well located for sight seeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, bedroom and bathroom large and well supplied with toiletries and tea making facilities. My stay was short so l didn't get to try the food. Would recommend it to anyone, and hope to visit it again.

Loved this hotel from the moment I arrived. It is all about "location, location, location" Perched just inside the butcher street entrance of the infamous city walls of the ancient city of Derry, the hotel is a joy. On top of this the staff were unbelievable helpful, courteous, friendly and just generally awesome. My room was comfortable and contain all the comforts that I needed. Finally breakfast was a east of good food and again the staff were super helpful and friendly. Awesome.

Hotel Place in the central part, quiet and comfortable, room spacious and nice, all of us 4 we were very good even though we were only one day. The breakfast is very English.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area and history of the town. Great atmosphere for a drink at the weekends.

Firstly, you're paying for location, which IS excellent, however the accommodations were mediocre including a terrible mattress that seemed you could feel every ancient spring. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet style breakfast was extensive in options and quite good. Note: Since they are inside the old city walls, parking is very limited and on a first-come basis. Otherwise you'll be parking a couple blocks away.

They had parking which was great but the wireless service requires you to create an acct giving your mobile number so we didn't use it.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for one night in early May and had a pleasant experience.
The hotel is situated within the historic city walls and the excellent location allows you to visit the main attractions of Derry easely.
The lobby of alberto is in line with expectations (as well as the pubs offering good food at reasonable prices) but the rooms (at least the one assigned to us) are certainly not worthy of four stars which boasts the hotel: ok clean but spartan so essential furnishings and are typical of a lower category.

Stayed here twice, although the decor is not the most modern it's very well kept and the staff are friendly, of course the location is fantastic and food is good.

We had a fantastic stay at the Tower Hotel and booked the tour package, the rooms were spotless and the food in the restuarant was first class. It is central for shopping, visiting and discovering the local history of Derry. The staff were very helpfull and friendly at all times, I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a superb break in the city and I will certainly be returning here in the future.
