Just back from a night away. I can’t sing its praises enough. Complimentary room upgrade, fantastic food and wonderful staff. First time away since lockdown eased and it was very reassuring, hand sanitizers everywhere and they were constantly cleaning surroundings. Thank you to Denise and her team for a most enjoyable stay!

We ate out with a group of friends just after Christmas. The food was gorgeous everyone really enjoyed their meal. The desserts were homemade and were a real treat.

My partner and I were here for dinner this evening and I have to say the food was exceptional particularly the seafood chowder, we ordered it as a starter but the portion size was more like a main, packed with fresh fish, delicious sauce and wheaten bread with it. I would recommend this hotel for something to eat, service good, staff friendly and helpful, clean comfortable environment. We will definitely be back again. Special thanks to Martin for his exceptional customer service.

Wanted to treat the wife and daughter and was going to book a stay here but not now. Very lousy portion sizes lamb was cut on a meat slicer chicken breast 1/3 of a breast

Just had a great stay, breakfast was brilliant and staff so friendly, lovely to see Mrs O'Neill again it was awful nice of you to sit and talk to Lady Sandra when I was out having a smoke love getting down to Carnlough and will definitely be staying here again I was in the Arkle Bar nice to see the pictures of old Frank O'Neill and John Devin and numerous other local characters.

Stopped off for lunch while out for a drive. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly couldn’t ask for more!

Superb… the helpful and friendly staff makes this hotel a special place to stay. A hidden gem and certainly one of my favourites!

Had Sunday lunch here today. I ordered roast lamb it came with 1 roast potatoe watery mash and a few veg 2 very small pieces of lamb. Very disappointed. Staff never came near us to ask if everything was ok or even to offer a dessert menu. Not impressed at all.

We loved this hotel/pub/restaurant. We stopped there just on a whim as we drove by. Really nice folks who run the hotel. Two thumbs up.

Stayed here the 18th-19th of August. Excellent place with a friendly staff located in a relaxing waterfront town. If getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is what you're looking for, this is it. Again, a very lovely place with excellent staff. Will definitely be staying here again.

Very nice place to go for a lovely meal relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff and service good clean establishment lovely scenery and a good walk along the seashore will give you a good appetite. From Belfast along the coast road to carnlough where the views are spectacular and you will find the Londonderry arms hotel.

Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, lovely staff, we ate in and had a really lovely meal and the Bloody Mary was top quality!

Great place for a meal/snack. We would head there for dinner on a nice day, lovely drive there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Menu has changed slightly but still plenty of choice. Bedrooms are all querky and no two rooms are the same. Give it a go on their steak nights truly the nicest steaks I've had for a long time. Give them a call and book in you'll not be Dissapointed.

We used this hotel as a base for a car club which was touring Northern Ireland at the weekend. This hotel is a great place to stay with real character and charm. The rooms were lovely and the staff simply couldn’t do enough for us. Food was great and they had a great selection of local whisky and gins to keep us refreshed in the evenings. We had a group of 14 people that stayed three nights and they all loved the place.

Ate at a wedding here recently but sadly the head chef was on holiday. His replacement was a disgrace, worst food from a hotel I ever put in my mouth. Review based on the food ONLY! venue looks great (old and cosy charm) but food lets it down.

Lovely place for a dinner. Open fires to warm yourself by in the winter time. Handy for a walk round the Cranny Falls. Querky rooms, friendly staff. Our 'go to' place for a bite and a walk.

Only had light lunch but that was very good. Nice old coaching inn and the Arkle bar hasn't changed in living memory!

Not for me as I like modern things but I am sure it will appeal to tourists etc friendly staff and nice food.

We just called in for a bite of lunch before leaving friends to the airport.
We just had one problem… choosing what to eat from the extensive menu. Our English friends complained the we just had too many good places to eat in N. I. The Londonderry Arms has just been added to the list. Food was delicious and the staff so attentive and friendly. Wish I could give them 6 out of 5.

Friendly, helpful, can’t do enough for you. Cheerful & respectful to everyone they spoke to. This place just has it all but it’s not just about the place, it’s also the staff within this establishment that make this place stand out from any other similar. I was doing a wedding within recently and I really can’t wait til I’m back again. It just has that atmosphere money can’t buy. A happy staff def made my visit memorable. Decor is bright and not gloomy, it’s very clean and comfortable. Food was plentiful and was very appetising other guests looked like also were enjoying the comfort of nice surroundings. I will def be back with the family for a bite in the future and maybe a stay overnight as we do our road trips.

I had looked at some reviews and decided to visit another establishment in Carnlough with the Londonderry Arms being a 2nd choice. However the 1st choice did not look suitable for my needs and we ended up in the Coach House at the Londonderry Arms Hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly; the food was served hot and was delicious, with ample portions; service was efficient and staff were attentive without being over-attentive; and the price very reasonable. All in all a happy customer. Next time, it will be my 1st choice.

Called for afternoon tea and ended up spending two hours. Very friendly staff and a wonderful relaxing time.

A wonderful seafront hotel with great character. Friendly staff. Great walks nearby.

Clean big room. My only negative was despite requesting 3 vegan meals the best they came up with was mashed potatoes (with milm) & veg spring rolls, next night potatoes & falafel… Not exactly imaginative…

Stopped in for a quick visit. Picturesque area and very nice hotel lounge with lots of history; it was once owned by Sir Winston Churchill.

Wonderful experience in Ireland. Good food, drinks music and company. A great place to slow down and enjoy Ireland.

Lovely hotel with even lovelier staff! This was the best hotel in our trip, the hotel is so beautiful and historical, and we were treated like royalty, from the hearty Irish breakfast every morning to the wonderful dinners and the after dinner drinks! The entire town is so friendly and welcoming, we were even able to watch American football on Sunday. Set in stunning scenery and convenient to many places such as Giant's Causeway. Will be staying again the future, I highly recommend!

Fairly serviceable as far as sleeping accommodations go. Had to be moved to a second room because the toilet was broken. Hit my head because of sloped low ceilings. Breakfast was good. Parking right outside, we got the last spot so it seems limited.

Needs a serious refurnishment and too expensive for what it is.

I just live up the road from the Londonderry arms and on a Sunday we go in and get a Sunday dinner and they are lovely.

Excellent food. I loved the duck! My room was beautiful and very comfortable, with a large bath. Very hot water and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Would return in the future!

We called at the hotel on the 7th of april for a meal for 6 people. While the actual meal was fair, the standard of service was terrible. One of our party ordered Lough Neagh trout with absolutely no sauce, it appeared with I think a butter type sauce, it was sent back. It came back okay but now minus the peas that were on it. We then ordered a dessert for one of the party, it NEVER appeared. To add insult we were charged for it on the bill. When this was pointed out, there answer was to put it in a polystryene box and still charge us, Quality of food was good but due to awfull service we will never be back.

Stayed 3 nights July 2014; excellent food, great service and wonderful feel of days gone by in our room at the top of the stairs. More space than some B and B rooms, good shower. Recommended.

Nice old-time atmosphere (skeleton keys! ), good food, unlimited Wi-Fi (best reception in sitting room), and comfortable beds.
