Reviews of Ten Square Hotel 4*
Breakfast was awful for the price the only nice thing I can say about this place is amazing staff other than that would never be back especially the price stayed in far better hotels for less the price.
Fantastic hotel, great location lovely rooms, friendly helpful staff and the most comfy beds ever!
Amazing hotel brilliant deals and very family friendly we will 100 precent be back here staff and food are excellent and we felt so safe room beautiful nothing was to much can't wait to come back 😀
We cannot recommend Ten Square Hotel high enough, clean, well run with helpful friendly staff. Food is delicious and hotel is extremely convenient to everywhere. Big mention to the manager Kate who is efficient, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Stayed in 10 square last night, fantastic friendly staff, rooms were spotless, big shout to Kate the manageress who couldn’t do enough for us making sure we were well looked after.
We had our wedding in Ten Square and from the start we were treated so well. The staff were knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had! Both Joanne and Mohammad were fantastic and made the whole day seamless and easy, which is what you want as a bride! To top it off, the food was outstanding — our guests haven't stopped talking about it! The rooms are lovely, especially the ones overlooking city hall. The best city centre venue ☺️ Thank you for an amazing day and night — can't wait to stay overnight on our anniversaries 🥰
We had our wedding here on 1st September and it was superb from start to finish. Service, food and attention to detail were second to none, everything was perfect, thank you so much for making our wedding so special. Jill and Ally.
My Sister & her now husband got married last Friday 26th August here and the whole day was fantastic. Everyone had the best time and Muhammed was brilliant! would 1000% recommend to anyone.
Absolutely lovely hotel. Friendly staff lovely room and great breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel close to alot of amenities and shopping. Will definitely use this hotel again.
We had our first stay here last night couldn’t recommend it highly enough such friendly attentive staff & service fabulous food look forward to our return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food, atmosphere, staff and location.
1st time here absolutely gorgeous hotel staff are all amazing nothing is a problem for them would highly recommend so much I've booked for next year as well.
I would not recommend this hotel as the reception staff don't know what they are doing, I near missed my daughter walking down aisle as I was instructed I needed to sign and pay for my room. The concierge Kevin was beyond unhelpful and quite sharp when communicating. I have to say though Muhammed and Charlie were absolutely amazing and it's because of them that my daughter and guests had a good day, without Muhammed u don't think this hotel would have a star rating even looking at reviews, he is worth his weight in gold. Charlie he looked after my grandson ensuring he had room service with a smile and he entertained him. A shout out to the chef the food was delicious I just think you need to cheer up the staff serving it as they all look so unhappy. unfortunately my experience would never take me back but really had to review Muhammed and Charlie they get 100percent thankyou both.
We had our wedding reception at Ten Square after having some issues with our previous venue due to covid and it couldn’t have worked out any better. The hotel was stunning, the staff are all worth their weight in gold especially Mohammed who couldn’t do enough for us all and had everything perfect. Our guests were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The whole day was amazing from start to finish. The food was fantastic, our photographer pics from the Jaffe suite terrace are beautiful! We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you all again 🎉
What can I say about this hotel …. We had our wedding there yesterday and it was unbelievable from start to finish the hotel staff were so nice and nothing was too much trouble … Big shout out to Mohamad who was running our wedding all day and you can see why he comes highly recommended! All the managers & Britney who kindly arranged for us to have the Jaffe suite for an extra night making our first day as a married couple that bit more special 👌 Would recommend this hotel highly and can’t wait to come back again. Mr and mrs smyth.
I would highly reccomend jospers restaurant the girl Andrea looking after us went above and beyond for us. The food was brillaint and the service and banter was 2nd hand brand new from Andrea 😁 highly recommended 👍
We had our Daughters Graduation lunch here today. Staff lovely and friendly. Food beautiful too.
Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful, room was spotless, food was amazing and service was excellent.
Such wonderful. Place and the Staff such lovely people fully recomended. Lovely stay and such beautiful room with lovely view — in the downtown. I will always be back here, when I am in Belfast.
We had our wedding on friday past staff were very helpful couldnt have done enough for you espcially kate and mohammed aka big mo made our day run smoothly couldnt have got any better than this man outstanding 10/10 👌
Amazing stay. Lovely bar in the hotel and friendly and helpful staff didn't want to come home.
Food was beautiful today and great service. Staff lovely.
5☆ hands down best hotel in belfast city. The most friendly staff from the concierge to reception staff, bar & restaurant staff & especially breakfast serving staff. Hotel is immaculately clean, beds are so comfortable. Food in Jospers is 1st class. Ten square really have a world class staff to be proud of. Well done ten square simply the best, cant wait to visit again in April.
Just had my sister's hen do here last weekend. The staff were so lovely. Albeit they were really busy elsewhere and kept forgetting about us. We didn't mind too much as we were having a lovely time. Only issue I have is one of the party had to cancel last minute due to covid. I called up the morning of the hen, as soon as I knew about the cancellation, to cancel her cocktail making and dinner. I asked about the refund or credit note and was told to speak to the manager when I arrived. I did that and was fobbed off again. I called on Monday and again today to chase, only to be told today there is no refund or credit note for her. The cost was £58. That's a lot of money. I know covid has been tough on everyone, especially hospitality but this was not explained at point of booking. I was only told the 15 deposit was non refundable but if covid affected the hen, we could rearrange the date. All I was after was a credit note of 43 quid to give to the person who couldnt attend. Also I should have been informed the morning of hen, not to cancel drinks and meal, if I couldn't get money or credit note and we would have shared food and drinks out with other hens at the do. All in all a great venue and really lovely staff but management and their policies really disheartening.
Myself & my new husband cannot thank Mohammad enough for making our wedding day & 3 night stay absolutely perfect. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much for him. The reception team also took care of us & our guests fabulously. Special mention Britney & Kevin. We cannot wait to come back & stay again soon.
Emma & Adam.
Stayed over on Sunday 14th November, the staff at reception where lovely & had us checked in very quickly! we enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant with great service from all the staff who were also very friendly. Already online looking to book another stay…great hotel.
Great relaxing stay, very friendly staff.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating went out of thier way to please customer's thank you.
Always a great staff in Ten Square and a warm welcome especially from Clayton and James. Sorry to see Clayton leaving. Fantastic location, very clean and great service. Keep up the good work.
The rooms were very clean, staff extremely courteous and helpful and all distancing guidelines adhered to. The breakfast was delicious too. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the very generous overnight offer for NHS staff. All the safety measures put in place were very reassuring. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Ten Square and will definitely be back.
Most helpful and friendly staff. Great Irish hospitality. We had a wonderful night full of fun. Thankyou to all. We will be back.
Lovely hotel great food, staff very helpful, great 2 night stay.
Just returned home after staying in Ten Square for an overnight to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
Have to say that hotel staff and amenities were excellent, nothing was too much bother!
Also staff were very accommodating as 5 members of my family came and sat at a table close by last night and all had a delicious meal and although my husband and myself were entitled to a glass of bubbly, a glass was filled for each of my family complimentary.
Nicola who originally dealt with my reservation was very helpful.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
I'm just home from a birthday treat away here at this hotel and I will definitely be back. Got the bubbles package it's was fantastic deal for the money. Hotel is gorgeous spotlessly clean and plenty of covid friendly staff and sanitising stations. Great size portions of food and complimentary tea or coffee with shortbread. Staff are extremely helpful and have a great work ethic… Thank you for making our first stay away from the twins in 18mths a thoroughly enjoyable experience. :)
Got a great deal on a great hotel all staff where very helpful and friendly and whole place was spotless.
The bedroom, The food and the amazing staff plus we got a great deal including breakfast, can't wait to return x.
Amazing hotel with lovely pleasant staff. This is the third time we have stayed here and wont be our last. The room had a beautiful view of the city and was comfortable and spacious. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
Attended my Nephews wedding here on 26th Dec 2019. Good location, very modern, great meal and entertainment. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Excellent location, gr8 atmosphere.
The hotel is beautiful the staff are very pleasant and give great advise on things to do while you are there.
the food is delicious.
Just home from a night away in Ten Square with my mum and brother. The place is so clean and lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We tried to pay for a late check out this morning as my brother was sick with the flu and he wanted to sleep for longer and they gave us an hour and a half more for no extra cost which was so kind. Will defo be back and would highly recommend to others.
Just home after a wee night In 10 Square, it was very relaxing and the staff was very helpful from the min we arrived till we left food was very good, and so was breakfast, was in the loft bar and a very relaxing atmosphere room was very clean and comfortable and warm. Will be back.
Amazing lunch, lovely friendly and professional staff. My son and I had a great meal. Will be back again. I hope the young lad on work experience got a share of the tip.
Our son and his fiancé got married here yesterday and we have to say, an absolutely outstanding service, all the staff were amazing.
Looked after every guest and their individual needs.
A very big thank you to Mohammed for everything he did yesterday and helping to make the day so special.
Rooms are beautiful.
Breakfast service was great.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Big thank you and would highly recommend the hotel.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. A lovely afternoon spent with my husband.
Great food selection with friendly staff and then great atmosphere in the bar after.
Great Hotel and Bar, have been many times before and cannot recommend enough!
Great food and drink and really helpful friendly staff.
Hotel rooms are lovely and the breakfast Fantastic!
This is probably one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in!
The rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and beautiful.
Reasonably priced bar for drinks and the food was delicious!
All of the staff were kind, friendly and really welcoming.
We will definitely make it our go to hotel when we are next over x.
Stayed last night! Will definitely stay again. Hotel is beautiful and clean, staff are all very friendly The rooms are 1st class. The beds are super super comfy, best nights sleep ever! Breakfast this morning was also 1st class.
Great service, very friendly staff great, couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Four of us had the delightful experience of Afternoon Tea. Beautiful surroundings in The Loft which is on the 7th floor and overlooking the City Hall. Our waiter Michael was excellent. Very professional. The afternoon tea had a beautiful selection of scones with cream n jam nice and warm. An array of lovely sandwiches, very tasty and lovely little bite size pastries. Of course 2 of us ladies had a nice glass of prosecco to wash it down after our coffee. A really lovely afternoon. Definitely recommend.
Just home from a fabulous Hen party at your hotel… staff at the reception & the restaurant were very efficient and attentive, our meal & cocktails were delicious! Our room was upgraded which meant we were all in the same room AND it had a hot tub! I'm normally quite hard to please but I found your hotel outstanding from start to finish! Thanks so much! X.
A really lovely hotel, really helpful staff. Highly recommended ♥️
We got a very good One night tourist deal which included entry to Titanic and a Black taxi city tour.
Receptionist staff all very friendly.
Good breakfast
Chocolates on arrival for my Birthday
… Disappointing room.
No makeup mirror
No shaving mirror in bathroom
No full length mirror
Only mirror in bedroom was a small one for drying my hair in.
No bedside lights.
Main lights in bedroom were far too bright but no other option, was either that or nothing
Awful pillows, far too firm.
Executive room with worst view ever, although nothing can be done about that, but thought they'd have been at front of hotel?
Main areas in hotel were cold.
Overall disappointed considering it's all been recently refurbished
Too many things missing.
Absolutely fabulous. My daughter's wedding on 18/08/18. Perfect day. Mohammed was so attentive and his attention to detail for the ceremony and reception was excellent. The meal was served by friendly staff and table service was was prompt. Lunch snacks, main meal and evening food all very enjoyable so appreciation to the kitchen team. Very comfortable overnight stay followed by a lovely breakfast. Well done to Matt for his organisation prior to "the big day". Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Great location for wandering around central Belfast. A couple of issues with regard to cleanliness of the room, but nothing major. Breakfast was first class and food in the restaurant was very good and priced accordingly. The Loft bar with a view over a small part of the City Hall is not, despite very friendly staff, worth a visit, especially if you do not like paying over the odds for drinks which cost considerably less in the ground floor bar. The proof of the pudding is I suppose, would I go back, and I'm not sure I would.
Fantastic hotel with a fantastic location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great and room was very spacious and well appointed. 2 minute walk from the heart of the city centre and 5 minute walk from the car park affiliated with the hotel. £9 for all day parking in the city. Brilliant price. And if you arrive after 6pm you can park on the road for free until 8am. Great too from the concierge was put £3 In the pay and display at the road side and your car will be fine on the street until the following day up until 10am. Will definatley stay again.
Exceptional staff and customer service in this hotel which makes it an excellent hotel to stay in! Every hotel is only as good as its staff and you def have amazing staff with Stephen and caitriona in reception. My two young girls and I could not have been looked after better and we appreciate all you did to help us out when we arrived on Sunday last. Thank you for a wonderful room and a fab trip to Belfast! We will be back.
The hotel and the room were very clean and beautiful. There was a little problem with our bathroom door, which could not be closed completely, but this didn't matter for us. The rest of the room and the hotel itself were in perfect state. All people were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast was simply awesome and the one time we had lunch at the hotel was great as well. I don't need to talk much about the location. You fall out of the hotel door and stand directly in front of the City Hall. Could not be any better. I can certainly recommend the Ten Square Hotel. Have a nice stay in Belfast!
This hotel is absolutely class, from check in to check out the place is like no other, the staff can’t do enough to help or assist you, the rooms and toilets are spotless, the food was fantastic. Hotel should be grateful to have the staff they have? Have stayed in a lot of hotels in Belfast when visiting over the years but will make TenSquare my new place to stay and would recommend to anyone to stay here looking forward to my next stay.
A recent and quality refresh to the rooms makes for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in what's actually quite a modest room space. Only thing I'd really have liked was a bigger desk. There's a nice bar and reasonable restaurant on site, where the buffet breakfast was varied and pleasant. An oddity is the number of entrances, with the hotel's being round the side and the restaurant/bar at the front… and a separate business one. Also, there's a safe in the wardrobe… but it's not attached to anything, hmm, I see a flaw with that.
Very disappointed sat after dinner for around 30 minutes before anyone came to ask if we had finished. Me and my sister were wanting dessert but because we seemed to be dismissed and forgotten about I just asked for the bill paid and left. It seemed the staff only seemed interested in a few other diners who seemed to maybe look like they would be able to offer them a better tip than me and my sister. Therefore I guess this is why we were dismissed needless to say we did not leave a tip as we were give no service by the staff. Highly disappointed as I told my sister how good this place is… Well used to be.
Very close to the centre of the Hotel.
Didn't use the hotel to stay but parked in the motorcycle bays across the road. The staff graciously allowed us to leave our backpacks and helmets so that we could enjoy the city. On our return we saw a traffic attendant attempting to book a vehicle parked outside the hotel. The staff came out and were trying to prevent the car being booked we asume it was a vehicle for a wedding being held as the driver seemed to be a vicar. Great service guys a fantastic example of going above and beyond.
Reception staff were great; well looked after at breakfast. Loft bar has an amazing view. Its central and five minutes walk from the bus station from which there are cheap and reliable services to the airport, giants causeway etc.
Visited the Loft bar. Excepting poor weather conditions would have had an interesting city view. Staff attentive. Service prompt.
I was there for a birthday party. Beautiful hotel and decor. Spotlessly clean. Professional staff.
Beautiful place to stay with luxurious rooms. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fabulous food and excellent cocktails. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel.
Very nice hotel with an excellent location. The attention of a five star. The breakfast.
Brilliant place food was gorgeous staff couldn't do enough for you cocktails were the best I ever had.
Top service from this hotel. Everyone is helpful and goes out of their way to assist. Beautiful rooms, food amazing especially breakfast! Great location, clean and welcoming. Beautiful boutique hotel. Hugely recommended.
Amazing Hotel. Loved it. Went for a hen night and stayed in the Vegas suite on the top floor. Room was immaculate and very very was presented. The beds were thee most comfortable I’ve ever slept in in a hotel. The staff were very very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast this morning was fantastic and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We dined in there restaurant in the evening too and the food was amazing and very well priced. The hot tub was a fab addition to the suite. Only down side I found was the outside area could benefit from some wall hooks to put gowns when getting out of the hot tub. And also a speaker connected to the TV inside so we could listen to some music whilst sitting in the hot tub. Overall we all loved it and it was an amazing experience Thankyou too all your lovely staff for making our stay special.
Staff where first class they couldn't do enough for us an the rooms where beautiful. The food was excellent and once again staff were very attentive my wife and I will definitely be back.
Great hotel, excellent restaurant.
Great classy hotel in the heart of Belfast. The new building has a wonderful bar on the 7th floor. Room is a very well presented with a fridge and a safe, large powerful shower and high quality tea and coffee packets.
Great classy hotel in the heart of Belfast. The new building has a wonderful bar on the 7th floor. Room is a little on the small side but very well presented.
The most unpleasant stay I ever had — thanks to receptionist! We arrived after 5pm but the room was not ready and we had to wait another 40min when check in says from 3pm? Hotel was booked online and prepaid but receptionist started to argue with me that I didn't paid and when she finally found my payment she even didn't apologise. Finally we came to the room but room was absolutely freezing with roof space open in the bathroom! So I phone to receptionist from the room with issues and she seems was really annoyed with us and said we got upgraded room and she can give us another more basic room but we have to wait until she will find something else but we wasted already too much time with her so we just stayed with open roof space in room and she even didn't offer to fix it so we had to use towels to cover a hole in the roof! Then we decided to go for dinner in same hotel restaurant because we seen a deal online that we can get a dinner for £22 per person if we staying in hotel but again receprionist said we can't get that deal because we had to book in advance even restaurant had spaces and online said different. As well she mixed my name and everywhere was writen my name as "Adam" nevermind I'm not a male! And she never mentioned that breakfast was included so we had no idea we have free breakfast! We phoned next day to complain about it but receptionist didn't let us talk to manager saying that manager is busy and will contact us soon but no one never contacted!
Had a meal in Jospers and it was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great menu especially for people who are gluten free.
We often go to this bar to watch the football they always show the big matches and you can almost always get a seat with a decent view. Good choice of drinks and the staff have a bit of personality about them, clean and tidy what more do you want.
Central location. Nicely furnished rooms with comfy bed. Very cosy bar and good restaurant. Will definitely stay again.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel staff can't do enough for you.
Stayed here one night was first class. Staff very friendly and help full. Ideal place to stay in the centre of Belfast close to all the shop's Thank you.
City centre location with good atmosphere and good food. Cocktails are nice and affordable at £7.50 each.
Lovely setting. Had a travel cot waiting for us. Room very comfortable. Food great. Had a ewspaper of my choice waiting for me at door in the morning.
Fantastic hotel. Attended as an overnight business guest and a conference at the hotel. Good service and rooms were brilliant and a superb location to top it all off.
The hotel has very nice aesthetics. I ate at the steak house. We were served by 3 or 4 different people who were mostly nice. The scampi was excellent and my friends meals were also great.
Only ever been here for the food and the bar. Food is grand, nothing special but then again, you are breaking the bank to eat there. The bar itself is spacious with a second room incase the first gets too crowded. Sometimes they have live music on which is great. Come here quite regularly and will continue to.
Fantastic Christmas Event at Ten Square Hotel, great service, delicious meal, also the warmest Christmas meal I have ever been served by any establishment, a great fête considering how many were at that seating. The setting looked stunning and the ambiance seemed festive for every separate party there. As soon as lights were turned down and music started up the dance floor was packed, would definitely recommend for a special event as well as a pop in at any time.
Attended a conference at ten square. Very impressed with the look of the place very modern and clean. We were properly looked after also pastries on arrival were lovely then good finger buffet lunch and then scones for afternoon break. Very nice indeed.
Got married here last August so thought we would pop in for a bite to eat, they have recently built more bedrooms and extended so we also wanted to see what's changed. The food we had was off the lunch menu, steak sandwich and a prawn sandwich, it was ok nothing to shout about, with two drinks and a portion of garlic bread it came to £28 which I suppose for a town center venue was average. The staff have changed a lot with the familiar faces we once knew now having been replaced with strangers. Overall its a nice place to go for both a night out as they do have a disco at the weekend and also for a nice meal in the restaurant. The rooms are expensive though with a midweek one setting you back around £130 a night or £200 at the weekend.
Very nice hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated albeit quite small. Wi-Fi strength was excellent no issues watching sky go. The bar was nice, the live guitarist was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated in Belfast, a short walk to anywhere in the city centre. Iwould recommend anyone to stay in at 10 square.
A new hotel in the heart of Belfast facing the rear of Belfast City Hall. Attended a retirement function and found the staff and quality of food in line with the above rating. Prices for drink was about average with a good selection of wines, bottled beer, draft beer and spirits. Coffee also served. The hotel is close to two railway stations, main Ulster Bus depot with bus access to Belfast Int. Airport, Belfast City Airport with a bus service to Dublin Airport on the hour every hour.
Had dinner as part of a big group. Staff were really friendly and efficient at keeping track of everyone's food and drink orders. Menu is limited but the food was excellent. Bang bang chicken is excellent. Blondie is also really good. Food is well presented and portion sizes are good.
Rooms are beautiful, modern, clean, robes and slippers provided. I had a bath and a shower in my room (wish I stayed longer than 1 night) we ate in the restaurant and can recommend the Asian noodles — they tasted lovely. Would definitely return to this hotel.
Stayed in 6/7 hotels in a 2 week period all over Ireland and this one was my absolute fav! Breakfast was average, but the rooms were gorgeous.
Nice hotel. Attentive service. Restaurant/bar could be better.
Great food, great staff great hotel recommend it to anybody.
Very nice hotel in the centre of Belfast. Comfy beds, good shower and TV. Friendly staff.
You'd think for the price you're getting basics but this room is fabulous… I have more choice words but none can find how much we love this room.
Excellent food. Accomadating staff. Good prices.
Great hotel, comfy beds feather pillows, friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed staying there. Great location. You have to park in NCP car park but they give you a discount ticket for the machine it was £9 for our one night 24 hr stay normal rate was £22
On our most recent trip to Belfast we didn't stay here because it was sold out but we did stay in 2015. The hotel is lovely and the room was wonderful, spacious and attractive. The people are very friendly and attentive to any needs or details. The breakfast was very pricey so we skipped to some of the lovely bakeries in the area. On our most recent visit we only stopped in for drinks and enjoyed the fine service and lovely views one more time.
We celebrated my granddaughter's communion at 10 Square yesterday. As soon as we stepped in there we were greeted by the lovely reception staff. The service we got was excellent. The restaurant staff were all so good. Excellent food, fully recommend 10 Square for a meal. So a big Thank you from the chef's and other kitchen staff, (cos only for them the restaurant would'nt function) to all the waiting staff and Manageress. Our experience was EXCELLENT.
Just perfect! Clean, efficient and with every comfort, staff prepared. Absolutely recommended.
Attended a wedding which was exceptional. Friendly staff, good food and the venue itself was perfect for the day.
Overpriced and food is bad.
Incredibly service, luxurious accommodation, wonderful staff. Also amazing food! Don't look any further!
Lovely atmosphere beautiful rooms great food.
Perfect! Beautifully decorated, wonderful funny and attentive staff. Great food and yummy cocktails! Would definately fo back!
The style of the bar is fantastic and it maintains such a calm atmosphere even at busier times, can't rate highly enough.
Recently revamped inside to bring bar and restaurant more up to date. Spacious areas with plenty of seating and standing room.
Had lunch in ten square with colleagues and had the steak sandwich. Very nice and good value. Would go again.
Great food, great rooms and central Belfast! You get what you pay for! 1st class all the way.
There was a hair in my food and I felt that the food could have been of a better standard. I was disappointed because the first time I went was brilliant.
Ten square is to be the venue for our wedding, since having the refurbishment it has gone from strength to strength. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Would most certainly recommend it for food/drink and as a place to stay at.
We were looking forward to staying at Ten Square, but we were extremely disappointed. On arrival, we discovered that instead of an upscale boutique hotel, we were staying in a construction site. The front desk was a temporary table in the middle of construction. To reach our room, we had to cross through construction. During the day, there was so much noise, that we really could not rest. The hotel bar and restaurant were under construction, although somehow opened in a weird state every evening. Even the hotel entrance kept changing, depending on what they were doing to the lobby that day. On checkout, we noted how ridiculous this was and asked for compensation — — the "night guard" said he'd have the manager contact us. When that didn't happen, I wrote — — the manager implausibly wanted to "discuss" the issue instead of simply offering us anything. While I applaud the owners' goal of improving the hotel, doing so with paying guests onsite shows an appalling lack of hospitality.
Excellent food served as part of their christmas menu, pleasant staff and as always great surroundings.
Here for a Christmas party. Great food and lovely staff.
Boutique central hotel with a lively bar/ restaurant.
I had a great function here, the room was okay and the food was great. You are paying for location however.
My stay here was only one night, but I'd not hesitate for a moment to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great accommodations in downtown Belfast. Leann (whose name I've undoubtedly butchered) at the front desk was amazing. She reserved a table at a local restaurant that was simply outstanding and much needed after a full day of travel and mediocre lunches. She asked repeatedly if she could help with plans around town, luggage, gave advice on parking on the cheap, and was simply a kick-ass ambassador for the hotel and indeed the city for this new visitor. Many might read this and say, "that's their job", but there's a difference when you feel like you're actually being cared for and that the advice you receive is accurate. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-lit. Beds are comfortable and the room not overwhelmingly warm despite unseasonably hot weather. Free Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in-room, though mine was at the very far corner of the hotel. Reception was far better elsewhere; for free, I'll take what I can get and I've certainly had worse hotel Internet access. The bar area seemed pretty popular with locals and tourists alike, though I did not stop in. Outdoor seating provides for good people-watching on a busy street. If you're staying the night and have a car, you can pre-pay the street meters once they're off-hours. Very economical way to legally park right outside the front door!
Lovely atmospheric pub Fridays on an afternoon.
I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for 4 nights. The cosy room was bigger than most average rooms I've stayed in. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was excellent, both breakfast and evening time. Very central location. I would stay here again.
A difficult situation handled well! My fiancée booked a one-night weekend stay as a treat, and we were very pleased with the hotel and its facilities. The rooms occupy three floors above a busy and popular bar and restaurant — and so it would be a great choice for those who like their night life. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and the rooms are lovely. The breakfast is very good quality too, and the 12.00 noon check-out time is great for those who like a lie-in. So, all in all, we thought the hotel was great! Our fellow guests, on the other hand, were a different matter. Staying the same night as us were two different hen parties, and several members of one hen were in rooms on our floor. In the small hours of the morning they came up to their rooms, clearly very drunk, banging doors and talking very loudly in the corridor, waking us up in the process. After about 20 minutes of disturbance we asked them very politely to keep the noise down, but were verbally abused. We also had one of the women enter our room, because the door hadn't locked properly. And ever after we got the door locked properly, someone attempted to get in several times more. The hotel staff and duty manager were very apologetic the next morning, and said they normally never have this kind of trouble. They convinced us that they would deal effectively with the guests in question, and we ended up going away happy.
Fantastic service. Had a beautiful Christmas dinner. Would recommend to anyone. Best food in Belfast.

RespondStayed here a couple of weekends ago with a hen party (on a hen break, basically there was 7 of us staying), rooms are lovely, food good, really well located. I wasn't entirely sure about booking here because it's so in the city centre but actually it worked out really well in the end, didn't have to get taxis or any of that stuff, noise was no problem. Oh 1 more thing — none of us ended up paying full price even though it was done in two different bookings because the hotel amended our booking to a reduced rate as we were part of the same hen group. I had booked mine and another girl's room on my card a few days after the hen and the rest of the group, but they discounted my rooms when they realised I was in the group too! can't really get better than that for service.

RespondI had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are totally gorgeous for what is regarded as a 'Boutique Hotel'! Stunning facilities! The bar was buzzign with a energetic but civilised crowd and the restaurant food was delicious! Not to sound too cliche but the staff are amazing — particularly the Reception staff. Nothing was too much to ask and they were swift, efficient and helpful in every single way! I would quite happily move in and live there if I was allowed. Without a doubt I would reccomend this hotel to EVERYONE — and no this is not the management writing this, this is me — a good old regular Northern Irish citizen :).

RespondThere is live music WEEKNIGHTS at this hotel till 1 a. M. The thumping base was deafening on the top (3rd) floor. It must have been considerably worse on lower floors. Sleep was impossible until the band chose to pack up for the night — — which turned out to be actually later than the 1 a. M. Time the desk promised. When I pointed out that I had come to Belfast on business, and that I had to work in the morning, the desk first said that, oh come on, it was only till 1 a. M. — — as if that was normal bedtime on a Thursday. They then promised that they'd ask the band to tone it down. The noise actually got louder (I suspect the band got angry, but that's just speculation). Since I had to stay up for several hours, I asked for a plug adapter for my computer (at least I could read the next day's newspapers online, right? ). Nope — — no dice. They only had three adapters, and all of them had already been claimed by other sleepless guests. I checked out the next morning. These people don't deserve to run a penal camp for delinquent children, much less a proper hotel.
