The food is really good and the staff the same…

The food accommodation and staff are second to none. Its a really impressive Hotel I was at a Wedding and was so impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they were so pleasant and helpful.

After my daughters wedding yesterday ive had so many people remark how lovely the hotel was amazing the staff went above and beyond and the food was out standing thsnk you for making the day truely amazing.

This Hotel is Outstanding ❤️My Daughter was married here on 15/10/22 👰‍♀️everything was absolutely perfect from the venue itself to the amazing food and also the Fantastic staff and service Thankyou for Making Mr and Mrs Amazing for everyone it was an incredible day from start to finish couldn’t have ask for a more perfect day 🍾🥂🥰

Been here a few times for dinner now and each time it's been beautiful, the staff are wonderful can't do enough for you, food is beautiful, the atmosphere and decor is also beautiful, just love it here.

We had our wedding reception at Leighinmohr House Hotel on 14/09/22, from the minute we looked at the hotel we knew this is where we wanted to have our reception! Laura went above and beyond for us both before and during our day. all the staff were so helpful and pleasant. The food is gorgeous. I definitely couldnt of picked a better place to have our reception, memories that will last forever. Thanks again to ALL the staff and management.

We had the most amazing wedding in Leighinmohr House on 4.9.22. Our wedding planner went above and beyond for ourselves and our guests. All of our guests made comment on how amazing the food was and how lovely the room were.

Leighinmohr House were do I start ❤️ had our wedding here in May and honestly I couldn't recommend the hotel enough! From the moment I booked the wedding with Nikki (who is amazing) to the big day with Patricia (who is the best and made my day truly amazing). Coming through covid and having my wedding changed, nothing was ever too much for them they helped us so much! We have never had so many compliments about the food at the wedding! I don't think I've ever had nicer wedding food it was amazing! Patricia went above and beyond for me us to make sure we had the most memorable day! I couldn't thank her enough! From the bottom of our hearts thank you so so much ❤️

Food is always stunning, service is excellent, menu is varied, prices are reasonable, family & children friendly. Couldn’t sing their praises enough! Pictures are from today’s Sunday lunch but their steak is also up there with the best I’ve had.

Daughter had wedding there. Food amazing. Staff mediocre, but the timing of the food was horrendous! No sooner had you your starter ate the dinner was upon you, same as dessert! But then they put out the wedding cake! The amount used and wasted because they cut far too much after our meal! Then they served the evening food and took it away after 20 mins along with the tea and coffee! Then the waiter! What a nasty man! And was once an entertainments man himself!

On Saturday night we took our Mum for a 90th birthday meal in the restaurant. Party of 10. It was fantastic. The food and the service was amazing. She really enjoyed the night, service and attention first class, birthday cake and singing staff just brilliant. Food was superb, especially the steaks which were quite frankly the best we’ve eaten in Ballymena area. Beautifully cooked. The whole meal was wonderful and our mum was very happy with her night out. Myself and some friends visited for a festive lunch on Saturday afternoon. The service was fantastic, very intentive and helpful. We ate from the Christmas set menu in the restaurant going for the turkey dinner and creme brulee, the food was so delicious, cooked perfectly and piping hot. It was finished off with some freshly made mince pies. I will definitely be back.

Was at Leighinmohr today with my family for a Sunday lunch and from start to finish we had a very enjoyable time from great food to great staff service. The team was very helpful especially the girl called Gerri. Would definitely recommend going 5

We stayed here on 08/08/22 it was our wedding anniversary.
I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Fantastic friendly staff. A lovely bar and the food was absolutely top notch.
This was our first time at the hotel it definitely won't be our last.

We had our wedding reception here on Monday and couldn't fault anything. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the day, bridal suite and ball room are gorgeous. Having to postpone reception twice Nicky was fantastic throughout at getting us new dates. Patricia was brilliant going through all our final details and anything I needed changed was no problem at all and also to Laura who was lovely and on our day was very efficient and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone loved their meal and there is loads of lovely places for photos within the hotel and on the grounds of it. Would highly recommend 😁👍

Stole our wedding deposit in he middle of a worldwide pandemic. Very unhelpful and mixed messages given out during a stressful time.

The food and the staff were great. Beautiful Hotel. Hopefully 2021 everywhere can get back to some sort of normality. Looking forward to returning to the Leighinmohr.

We couldn't choose what we enjoyed the most as there are so many from the beautiful surroundings and friendly atmosphere and staff. The food is in a class of it's own so satisfying and tasteful would reccomend to all.

We were due to have our wedding here this year which got cancelled due to covid. I am extremely disappointed in the way leighinmohr have handled this. They have refused to refund our £500 deposit even though they cannot provide the service we were paying for. I have heard from several other people in the same situation. It takes nothing to be reasonable when the world is in a pandemic. I personally will never be back at leighinmohr after how we have been treat and I know of many others who have said the same. Such a shame as it’s a lovely venue.

What a fabulous place to be! My daughter and her new husband (Mr&Mrs O Hagan) had their wedding here on March 8th, and the staff went all out to ensure they had the best day. All the guests were very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Could not recommend the Leighinmohr enough! Thank you all so much for making such a perfect day for all x.

Got married here in 2017 and returned for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely lovely staff and amazing food. Would recommend for Weddings or just a just a nights stay. 5 Star.

This is the best place for dinner in Ballymena. Excellent staff who are friendly and efficient. Restaurant Manager Dragos is amazing and aims to please and provide a excellent service. Food is consistent and beautiful.

Got married here very recently and it was just the perfect place. The staff were well organised, friendly and were easy to engage with. The food was phenomenal, so much so that I have ate here quite a few times before getting married. I found no fault with the service or the venue, and was a great location for those Autumn photos. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and I have always been very satisfied with the quality.

My family and I went for dinner last night, there was a very busy wedding in motion. We were sat near the bar by the wonderful, polite, friendly, helpful waiting staff. The bar staff were amazing too. Lovely drinks, beautiful crisp fresh beers. The food arrived and all I can say is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, absolutely amazing!, as it always is! Thank you so much to the head chef William and all the other chefs!,,, I will definitely come back! loved it!

Second time here for afternoon tea and on this occasion it was for my mother in laws 60th Birthday. The staff are consistently amazing, the setting and hotel is stunning and the food simply incredible. Thanks for amother great experience Leighinmohr.

My son Matthew & his wife Ciara had their wedding reception at the Leighinmohr House Hotel. It was absolutely excellent. The food served was delicious, staff were attentive and looked after all the quests amazingly well. Our rooms were lovely, comfortable and well equipped with tea/coffee/biscuits. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. 5 STAR treatment ❤️

We had our wedding here on 23rd of August, everything was perfect. The food and staff were amazing, we had a couple of fussy vegetarians who were very well catered for. Everyone commented on what a wonderful day it was. Looking forward to returning for afternoon tea soon.

I had my sister's surprise 50th party here in Glendun suite. The staff were exceptional helping prepare the room and bring anything we asked! The food (afternoon tea) was fabulous and lots of it. There were 30 in our group and the staff were really attentive would highly recommend this as a venue for afternoon tea. Thanks so much to you all.

Can't believe it's taken me so long to do this! My husband and I got married in this outstanding venue on 09th March this year. I could not have asked for a better venue, better food or a better bunch of staff for our big day. Joanna, Patricia and Nikki were outstanding from the very beginning. I had booked a family downstairs room as I have breathing difficulties but was up on the top floor in the highest room. Apart from that the hotel and staff are lovely.

Wonderful experience at a wedding on Wednesday (15th Aug) — what I call real service — helpful staff who are highly motivated and who were pleasant at all times and the service (with a smile) was excellent at all times too — not just during the superb dinner. I was truly grateful also when they dealt with genuine care with the aftermath of an allergy — about which they had not been previously informed. Only 5 stars? Not enough!

Called in for a bite to eat, served by pleasant staff, hadn't booked, they were said they needed the table in 2hrs… we hoped it wouldn't take that long. Ordered 2 fish and chips, both very nice indeed. Would recommend and would go back. Thank you.

We got married in July 2018. I don't know where to start really. From my first enquiry until the day after our wedding, the service we received was outstanding. The staff are so genuine and lovely. No request was too big or unavailable. They worked with me until I was 100% confident. The decorations and layout definitely exceeded my expectations and I felt like a princess. The food was also absolutely delish and my guests were impressed. The bridal suite was so clean and the overall condition of the hotel was in high standard. I totally felt at ease the whole day. We had our wedding here on the 11th May. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was the perfect venue. I really can’t thank the staff at Leighinmohr enough, especially Joanna and Nikki. Joanna went through the preparations with us and was even replying to emails at 12.30am the night before the wedding. Nikki looked after us on the day and her attention to detail was incredible. They couldn’t do enough for us and they both helped make it the best day ever. A lot of the guests said it was the best wedding they have been to and the food was the delicious. Wonderful wedding venue, first class food, great service from highly efficient staff. Function suite very nice as are the well furnished bedrooms. The hotel grounds are well mantained and ideal for those precious wedding photographs.

Well where do I even start. We had our wedding here 16th May 2018 and it was just perfect. When we first visited the venue after we got engaged and met by Nikki, we just knew this venue was for us, the hotel is simply stunning and facilities are fab. Special thanks to Nikki for all her help at the beginning and then on to Joanna for all the stages of the planning, who was always there when I lifted the telephone or sent a wee email. Thanks to Joanna and Adam for organising th…e venue for the day and having it just the way we wanted it to be and most of all keeping it all calm and controlled and entertaining our guests on arrival whilst we at Mrs Glynn's gardens who again I would recommend for any bride looking photos prior to coming to the hotel. The food and service on the day was definitely 5*, every dietary requirement was met and I've had so many comments to this day about the food and the evening buffet and the venue itself. The accomodation was just perfect too, really fabulous bridal suite and the guests rooms were top notch also :) definitely if your looking to get married soon go for leighinmohr house hotel 5* just isn't enough!

We had our big day on 2nd June 2018! What a fantastic venue! From the first day we viewed the hotel we knew that it would be perfect for our wedding! The hotel is so beautiful! Adrian, Joanna, Patricia and Nikki are amasing! They were all soo helpful! All I had to do was pick up the phone and they were there the whole way through the planning stages! Planning our big day at the Leighinmohr House Hotel was made so much easier by the wealth of knowledge the staff have! They provided so many brilliant recommendations! On the day of our wedding I was met by Patricia and Joanna! They calmed my nerves and made sure everything was perfect! The room was set up so beautifully by the staff they knew exactly where to put all our decorations!
The day was kept on time and so well co-ordinated! The food was also sooo beautiful! All in all an amasing venue! With amasing staff from management, to the wedding co-ordinators, the floor staff, bar staff and receptionists! My guests were amazed by the beautiful venue, food and the service provided! A big thank you to everyone at the Leighinmohr House Hotel who help create our special day!

My husband and I got married here at the beginning of May 2018, I cannot recommend the hotel enough. Our day was perfect from beginning to end thanks to Patricia our wedding coordinator. Patricia made sure everything ran on time and had a very calming influence on the whole day, helping create the chilled atmosphere we wanted.
The rest of the hotel staff were also fantastic, from the receptionists to the bar and waiting staff everyone went over and beyond to ensure our guests enjoyed the day as much as we did.
All food was delicious and served piping hot with plenty to go around for anyone with a big appetite. Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable.
I really have nothing bad to say about my whole experience, from my initial booking process to checking out the next day. Thank you so much to the Leighinmohr team!

The dust has settled, the heads not so sore and it’s all over. Our wedding on the 19th May was simply perfect!
The Leighinmohr didn’t disappoint from start to end. The room for the ceremony was stunning, light and classy. The room was then turned around to be used for our meal, again looking stunning!
The food was brilliant. Every one of our guests commented on how nice it was, many going as far as saying it was the nicest wedding meal they had had!
The staff, from top to bottom, couldn’t do enough for us!

Me and my husband got married here last year and it was amazing. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious everyone was talking about it. I would really recommend this hotel. We have been back a few times since and loved every min we were there. Defiantly be back again.

Went for dinner with friends on Saturday night 5th May. Having not been to Leighinmohr house hotel in years. I was blown away. I have to say it is amazing. Staff really friendly. Design of the restaurant is first class. Food outstanding. Would recommend this hotel… Top class.

We always love coming to the hotel. We had our wedding reception here and I would thoroughly recommend it to any prospective couples. The service we received during the whole day was second to none, and the guests all said how impressed they were with the hotel. Joanna, the wedding manager, is an absolute star. The food is always beautiful presented, delicious and reasonably priced. Atmosphere in the restaurant is very good and the staff are very attentive and polite. The decor is beautiful and the bridal suite is excellent. Since our wedding last year we've come back several times for meals and have always been pleased.

Everything is fine… The thing is, they were reforming and I smelled something like painting etc etc… as for breakfast it is on the menu and it gets very slow… But you're losing about 10-15 minutes.

I was in Ballymena on business and decided after a long day to stay over. I was lucky enough to find the Leighinmohr House Hotel on Google. This is a very special hotel with amazing attention to detail. The staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was of the highest standard and freshly cooked to order. As a person who travels Europe on business, I would highly recommend this hotel which is clean, comfortable and amazingly great value for money. Thank you.

I don't often write reviews but after attending Mark and Alicia Knox's wedding on Monday at the Leighinmohr I have to say how impressed I was with everything. The meal was beautiful and the service was second to none and we really enjoyed our day. Well done to everyone involved!

Visited for afternoon tea. Staff were really friendly and made sure we were well looked after. Food is excellent, I highly recommend attending. Reasonably priced as well. Try and get a seat in the glassed area if possible.

Awarding this team and hotel the wedding venue of the year is not an understatement. Our daughter had her wedding there on the 3rd February and we could not be happier at how it went. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The food was excellent and the service was superb… Not many places can pull off both of these things at the same time! The managers Joanna and Patricia were so attentive and nothing was ever to much trouble. We couldn't have asked for a better location to have the wedding. I would highly recommend the leighinmohr to anyone who wants to have a hotel dedicated only to their wedding and to feel truly special on their special day. Well done to everyone that works there, keep doing what you are doing… It truly works.

Just decided at the last minute to try here for a meal. It was fully booked but as there was just the two if us they squeezed us in. It has been a long time since I've been here and I was very Impressed by the face lift it has had. Looked lovely and was very clean… Staff very friendly especially the lady on reception. Our meal was excellent couldn't fault it or the service. Well done very welcoming and really good value as we were in time for the early bird menu. I had two courses and my husband had 3 we also had a jug of orange all for under £40… Highly recommend a visit…

Room freezing. My 90 year old had to keep her coat on. Some of the food on plate was hot. Veggies cold. Couldn't wait to get home to get warmed up. Staff agreed it was cold in dinning room. The staff were pleasant.

Had afternoon tea here last Saturday. There were ten of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was lovely service excellent and price very reasonable. Hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the downstairs decor is so tasteful. The big coal fire on a very wet day was a bonus. Can't comment on bedrooms as we were not resident.

Attended the main function room for a band rehearsal. Instant wow factor of the room is the lovely bright modern decor. There's a comfortable seating area and bar in the room. Perfect wedding venue!

The food here is second to none and I've eaten in some posh places. Completely unpretentious surroundings but really delicious and fairly priced food. We are in here all the time. The staff are also a real asset to the place. Keep up the good work.

I'm just home from this hotel. It was my Daughters wedding venue on Sat 5th August 2017. I could write a whole speech but know what. The only thing I can say is … Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. From start to finish Joanne was so easy to work with and saw to everything and was one step ahead of me at every turn. Venue… 100% meal 100% (lovely hot plates and hot food) and Plenty of it. With many guests having seconds! My bedroom was very comfortable Breakfast was delicious with such a variety with fruit. Yoghurt. Loads of cereals… followed by a cooked breakfast of your liking… All the hotel staff were so helpful I'd say it's an operation run with precision I simply can't fault it I enjoyed every second of it. Beautiful place nice atmosphere didn't like t room we stayed in as it had no window but the over all place was relaxing.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Helpful staff… I had no knowledge of the area and they sorted out a taxi to a friends wedding reception, with no problems.

We had a gala ball here in October 2015 and I must say the hospitality we got from Adruan the manager and his staff were brilliant. I will certainly be back as couldnt of ask for better. Thanks again for everything x.

We stayed here one week ago (July 2015. ) Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Bedroom was cosy and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Although there was a wedding that night, our sleep was not in any way disturbed and there was absolutely no sound disruption. The only criticism that we have is the very poor set up at breakfast time. It is a buffet style breakfast. We arrived down for breakfast at 9.30am. There were two waiters there who showed us to our table. When we went to get our fry, after putting the bacon and sausages on the plate, we discovered there were no fried eggs left! We ordered these and had to wait a good 6/7 minutes. Several people were standing around waiting also. There was no breakfast orange juice left. When we ordered tea and coffee, we had to ask the waiter to bring us out some sugar and milk from the kitchen! When we got our toast, we had to ask twice before receiving butter from the kitchen! They didn't seem to know if they were coming or going but we felt that too much was expected off these two young men and much more help would have been required for the smooth running of the restaurant. Bar lacked a little atmosphere also but was okay. On check out, we reported the poor service to the receptionist who said he would make the restaurant manager aware when she arrived for work that day. Should she not have been there for service at breakfast time? Overall, the stay was fairly positive but restaurant service needs attention!

This hotel has very poor telephone manner from there receptionist. Was put off completely to go there.
