A very unusual B&B with a lot of history and beautiful garden. The owners were friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast the evening before and it was very good and plentiful. Normally only 4 bedrooms are available and they are quite grand. However we had a late addition to our group and the owners managed to accommodate us by opening up an additional room in the attic. Access was via a narrow staircase, OK for me as I'm small so I was the obvious choice for the room which was basic but roomy and clean and had tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was shared and on the floor below.

My husband and I cannot praise the Tower enough. It was such a quirky and unexpected find and from the second we arrived we were allowed to feel as if we were at home. We loved exploring the house and gorgeous grounds, including a sunny game of croquet on the lawn. Breakfast was incredible and very generous. John and the others were very welcoming and always happy to help, no matter the task or time. Thank you all so much for our lovely weekend!

Pretty cool place. No mod cons but that's not what you're there for. Couldn't get a warm shower but bath nice and hot. Good service.

Tower is a beautiful country grade 1 listed stately home, which has been in the same generation family over the centuries. The building ax well as the lake and garden is beautiful.
It is so peaceful, even the neighbours (Sheep) are quiet.
The bedrooms are huge, with the old style windows, and are quite chilly in the day, but warm at night with the storage heaters working.
The one thing to watch out for enroute to the building is that if using a sat nav, it will not take you to it, but will take you to a different road further down.
The breakfast is excellent and the dining area is huge with a long table, and again with a very old feeling to it.
Absolutely delightful place and an extremely friendly host.

I received a very warm welcome at this wonderful and historic bed and breakfast hotel. There are only a few rooms. I was the only guest while I was there and I was made to feel like the Lord of the Manor. Breakfast was terrific, fresh and hot on both mornings I was there. I would recommend it as a romantic get away place or if you are visiting friends, family or have business in the Mold area.

A quirky and characterful bed and breakfast hotel. The welcome was very warm and personable. You will not find any faceless corporate nonsense here. The very friendly Steph welcomed me and sent me helpful pre-arrival emails to ensure my Sat nav didn't get me lost. I am looking forward to breakfast having arranged with Steph to be down at 7:30 to a very normal English breakfast with no special dietary requirements. And the location is perfect. I think a romantic return visit is in order.

An amazing building in a beautiful spot. The bedroom in the old tower was very impressive with a comfortable bed and great views out from the large leaded window. Breakfast was really excellent, served in a gorgeous room overlooking the large duck pond. The welcome was warm and relaxed. A great stay. Recommended.

Possibly the most peaceful place on earth.
