Most lovely welcome on our arrival — our room The granary steps was very clean and well presented. We so enjoyed our private dining experience and the food was amazing! Very peaceful and tranquil place to stay. Breakfast was very good. Nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff. We will return! Thank you.

We had dinner & an overnight stay here for our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, both dinner & breakfast. The welcome was warm & friendly and the setting very relaxing. Everything to a high standard. Will be visiting again soon I hope. Thank you.

Stayed on the pink hut. Very cosy place. Shame the fire didn't work but only filled the place with smoke. (Didn't go to scouts) Not much choice on the menu. And no vegetarian option. Lovely quiet place. Would recommend for a quiet weekend away.

Had a lovely Afternoon Tea couldn't fault the location, service or food. The scone was the best I'd had very light and fresh all cakes were home made with vast choice and beautifully arranged on the cake stand. I would highly recommend as it's a very relaxing as well.

We stayed in pink hut absolutely lovely for one night only. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay on Valentines Evening was in Buttons Room which has a four poster bed and lovely decor.
Our 5 course meal on the same evening was outstanding in flavour using diverse ingredients.
We would recommend the food, accommodation and customer service most highly!

My husband booked The Outbuildings for my birthday treat and my only complaint is that 5 stars are not enough to rate my wonderful experience here fairly. What a fabulous location and what a fabulous welcome by the staff. We arrived early evening, a little later than planned but we were welcomed with a smile and offered a range of drinks as soon as we walked in. We had booked The Pink Hut which was, to me, 5 star glamping with more space and creature comforts than expected. We booked afternoon tea the following day and were treated to a plentiful serving of freshly made sandwiches and cakes and a lovely glass of fizz. My one disappointment is that I couldn't eat it all despite taking some back to our hut. I did try… honest! Breakfast each day was a joy to look forward to and well cooked using fresh local produce. As it turned out we'd picked the coldest week of the year so far for our stay and we were advised by one caring member of staff that a "proper" room was available for our last night if we wanted it as temperatures were set to plummet to — 10°. We took up the offer and enjoyed the upgrade while hail, sleet and snow came down thick and fast outside. For me, this has been a marvellous few days away in a beautiful location with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and conversation was easy. Thank you so very much to all of you for making my birthday treat so very special.

We had the most incredible wedding day at The Outbuildings in August this year. We knew that we wanted to book this venue straight away as it has such a warm and welcoming feeling and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Judith made us feel at home straight away and we knew that we were in capable hands when we were passed over to Millie. Millie was a fantastic person to work with throughout the year of planning. She was always cheerful, dedicated and full of brilliant ideas and recommendations. Millie made us feel that nothing was too much trouble and that we were always welcome to pop over to go over things or have a chat on the phone. We're so grateful for all of your support. All of the staff were lovely in the run up to, during and after our wedding day and it was really special to spend the weekend with you all. Thank you for giving us the day of our dreams. The Outbuildings will always be a very special place for us.

We are really disappointed with our house party booking at the outbuildings. As mentioned in a previous review we had booked the B&B for some of our guests and as a place for the bride to get ready on the morning of our wedding. They claim to have been unaware of this even though we visited the B&B to discuss, we even changed room allocations for the bride after recommendations. The booking was listed as exclusive on the website but my bride was repeatedly shushed by staff during a photo shoot as we shared the house with a yoga retreat. The rooms do look great but theres a few issues: There wasn't enough toilet roll in one room and a request for more was met with a 'how much do you need' passive aggressive response. The bath taps in the granery steps kept falling off whenever they where turned. My guests had a cold arrival to the pink hut, but it did heat up once a heater had been provided. There is a policy of three people per room which we weren't told about during booking even though we mentioned a family with two toddlers would be staying. The toddlers however where charged at £45 each per night leaving an £180 bill at checkout. Not to mention I had to provide my own bedding for the supplied campbed. There is a strict no drinking policy in the rooms which I just wish we where made aware of beforehand.

So we'll presented with beautiful views and rustic design. A fabulous place to host a wedding.

Beautiful surroundings with great service, attended a friend's wedding and they seemingly did a brilliant job!

Went to collect my daughter in law the bride. Constantly told to be quiet because they booked a yoga retreat the same time my son booked it for the bride and her family. Photographer tried to make everyone happy for photos and staff telling everyone to be quiet. Appears making money more important than a happy bride. Would not recommend this place.

We got married at The Outbuildings at the end of May, and are absolutely thrilled we chose it as our wedding venue! Having stayed there for a few long weekends over the last few years, we didn't look at any other venues, we knew straight away where we wanted it to be. We had such an amazing time, we really couldn't have asked for more.
The Outbuildings team worked so hard in sorting everything for us, and for keeping everything ticking along on schedule over the weekend. All the staff involved were fabulous — we've had so many comments about how friendly and helpful everyone was, it really helped create just the atmosphere we wanted. Everyone had a really super time — it was nothing less than perfect!
So thanks again to Millie and the team, we're so pleased we chose you as our venue! Lots of people have said they could understand why we fell in love with it — The Outbuildings will always have a very special place in our hearts. We'd certainly love to come back and celebrate our anniversaries over the coming years!

Great service, wonderful food. You can tell a lot of care is taken with everything here. The setting and ambience were excellent. We had the afternoon tea, which was exquisite. Possibly the best brownies I've ever eaten.

Went to the Supper Club with my wife and friends for the first time. The food was delicious and the blackberry and apple crumble with custard was to die for. The place is stunning, staff lovely and the meal was good value. Will definitely be going again!

ONE WORD AMAZING! If you are thinking of staying here or having a wedding or party/function do it! Me and my husband celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday 1st July 2016. I found this beautiful gem of a place 4 weeks before the day and the organisation and communication from staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble or effort. They catered for wheat and gluten free excellent which was a big thing for me. It was relaxed from the minute we arrived to discuss plans and everything I asked for they did! They worked hard all night to make our party day/over night special. Food was delicious everyone loved it. Breakfast the next day was lovely and the views are stunning! I really didn't want to go home the next day. If I ever have another party I will definitely be back to have it here. Thank you to Millie especially and all the staff involved! Absolute gem of a place on Anglesey THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Fantastic venue, staff were very helpful and service was done with a smile, drinks were a little expensive though, but location was lovely and all in all a brilliant evening.

Beautiful building and grounds. Rooms were very comfortable and beds were the kind to keep you sleeping. Food was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely return.
