Best option for the price. The room are comfortable in the Novotel standard. Perfect giant TV e affordable Wifi. The room is clean as always. All staff is kind and professional. Smart position, tram station for downtown and airport.

Lovely hotel. Staff extremely helpful, warm and friendly. Breakfast was amazing so much choice. Rooms clean although there was a toy under the sofa bed. The shower did spray onto the floor so used more towels for that. Pool small and good but no toilet down there. Would go back.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Conveniently located just next to the station, makes it so easy to travel. The staff is very polite and helpful especially the front desk. It's a pet friendly hotel.

Trendy modern hotel that's clearly had the interior designer off the lead. Looks great, bed comfortable but comes undone in the details. For instance, there are exactly 2 power sockets in the room, by the desk. You're SOL if you want to charge your phone overnight and use it as an alarm unless you're a lot better than I am in the mornings. The light switch (singular) by the bed operates one of the bedside lights. The other light, and the main room lights, are on switches over by the wardrobe. A niggle? Possibly, but how hard is it to put a switch panel by a bed? Like every other hotel? The room also has a small Mitsubishi air conditioner, which I believe to be fairly up market. Quiet, discreet and comes with a remote control unit (shame there isn't one for the lights! ). It's also out of it's depth dealing with 30 Centigrade temperatures outside all day and 4 floors of heat rising through the rest of the hotel. No question it's working, working as designed with no disrespect intended to Mitsubishi or the maintenance staff of the hotel. Just be sure you get a low floor on hot days.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff and v comfortable rooms. Pillows are excellent. Is more suited to business as its well out of the centre.

Best hotel has an tramp station just 100m from the hotel this make traveling a lot easier. Lovely breakfast. The staffs are very much welcoming.

Very good hotel, indoor pool, Turkish bath, Desyunouy good. It is a bit removed from the center but within 1 minute is the tram station which in 5 min brings us closer to the center. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, with parking, swimming pool and steam room and fitness room. Big room with comfortable beds. Easy access to Edinburgh centre on the tram which stops 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was a bit cold as the temperature control was via some strange haet pump system. But that is being changed. Full cooked breakfast was £19.90. We weren't going to pay that. Got the tram into town each morning for great cooked breakfasts at £9:90. Tram costs £4:00 for a day ticket which lets you travel on the trams and buses all day.

Business Hotel, right on the highway, good transport links by tram to Edinburgh, ideal for excursions and fair price, happy to return.

The room was in a pretty poor state. Light fittings and hand rails were loose. The carpet was stained and the curtains (which closely resembled shower curtains) we're both stained and had holes in them. The tiling in the bathroom was lifting off the wall in places and there was mould on the grout. When I first went in to the toilet, it looked like it had been used and not flushed. I had breakfast in the morning. It was deeply uninspiring. The "cooked breakfast" was more a "cremated breakfast" after sitting under the hot hold for too long. The bacon is supposed to be crispy and the sausages floppy, not the other way round. The black pudding was just a fat sponge that oozed oil when squeezed, and they'd even managed to make a hash if the hash browns. Basically not what I'd expect from a hotel claiming four stars.

I mostly like this hotel because it has a pancake making machine in the restaurant. You can watch through the little window in the side of your machine as your your pancakes travel along a little conveyor belt, turning from a blob of pancake mix to perfectly formed American style pancakes. The rooms and service are fine too.

Fantastic place! Pool was a little small but otherwise a lovely relaxing weekend! We had a problem with our booked room and they were more than happy to change us and gave us an upgrade to executive queen. Was a nice unexpected surprise, least stressful room change and problem I ever had. Thanks to Daniel again on the front desk!

Nice stay. Right on the tram line so easy to get around. Good facilities, nice food and lovely staff. Accessible room a disappointment. No room to get a wheelchair about and the bath wasn't accessible without help. That needs sorting out and accessible showers with chairs should replace the bath.

Great hotel. Staff exceptional. Julie the receptionist on duty at check in was extremely helpful and printed out a map of directions to Napier University which was a 23 minute walk away. Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of hot and cold items. The room was spacious and pretty quiet considering it was right next to the tram line.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean, mine had a shower but a bath is also available if needed. Restaurant for dinner was tasty with lots of options, a bit pricey so better to pop into centre on the metro or train (literally 3 Min walk) Breakfast is as expected for a buffet at any hotel. If you like the gym like I do this will be a disappointment, machines are rubbish, weights are basically non existent and cardio machines are men at best. Swimming pool is nice but not large and the steam room was "out of order for that day" for 2 days. Only gave it 4 stars because the gym is rubbish and that's why I booked that hotel in particular.

Good facilities including gym and pool. Rooms are quiet and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. Few minutes from the tram stop, so really convenient for travelling to the city centre or airport, which takes about 20 minutes.

Fresh hotel, not far from the tram/train station and near a shopping area. Clean, well laid out, basic gym and friendly helpful staff. Would have got 5 stars if it hadn't been for the parking charges for guest.

Excellent facilities and friendly efficient staff. We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. So convenient for Edinburgh Park tram/train stops for the city centre and beyond. Third time there an we will be back soon.

Room was lovely. Didn't have evening meal but large choice for breakfast which was delicious. Very hard to get someone to answer phone when calling from outside otherwise staff room and hotel was great.

Fantastic service from the minute we arrived. The kids loved the little teddies on arrival. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and the pool was great also. Will definitely be back.

This is a nice hotel which we attended for a works night out. The staff are friendly although they did not serve the food correctly or as efficiently as in previous visits. The decor and interior is done qell. We had a good night here apart from table service.

The staff were very helpful and very helpful. Great breakfast, tram, train — and bus stop just a few meters away. Shopping facilities in the immediate Vicinity. Good starting point to explore edinburgh, CA 20min to Princes Street/waverly Station. Overall highly recommended, I would book again at any Time.

The hotel is in the suburbs, 25 minutes from the centre, which is reached by the tram. The area is remote but open and has a great supermarket nearby.

I stayed four nights at Novotel Edinburgh Park with my son in July 2017 and we had a pleasant stay there. We found the staff to be friendly and professional. The hotel is just five minutes' walk to trams and trains. The food was good and you could choose a balanced diet from the menu. They care for environment and if you too care, you get rewarded, unlike other hotels. At Novotel, you get a £5 voucher to spend in the restaurant or at the bar, for each day you don't want your room serviced, which I think is great.

Cheap and cheerful! The staff are very friendly, the communal areas are really modern and the rooms are reasonable. It's in the middle of nowhere but has a tram stop close by for easy travel into the city.

Staying here just now. No complainants at all. Handy location when coming by car, leave car at hotel and tram stop 2 mins away takes you into centre. Used swimming pool twice both times been busy but changing rooms and pool area have been kept clean and tidy. Food in restaurant was nice at dinner and breakfast. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Great location close to motorway and public transport. Gym, swimming pool and steam room are available for all guests and a small children's play area. We had two superior queen rooms which were clean and comfortable, the only reason this isn't a 5/5 is due to the carpets being a little stained in places and bases of desk lamps being a little rusted, possibly using harsh cleaning products. Id still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful base while on a city break like we were or staying for work.

Tram 3 minutes on foot which makes Edinburgh city centre about twenty minutes from the hotel.
On the other hand the service at the restaurant is long for proof this gives me time to write this post, 4 busy tables and already an hour to wait for our dishes.

It's a very good hotel. It has its own gym and swimming pool. That's a plus for me. Very good bedrooms and the staff/employees are nice and helpful. There isn't as much to do for the children. But I still liked it. It's right besides the train and tram stop. So transportation isn't a problem. A very good place to stay.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Facilities are good. Location is good, as could use he tram to get around. Didn't always need to drive around in my car. Didn't like my view though out of the window as had the tram Line in front. Room side was good and sleeping arrangement was good. Comfy bed and pillow. Would recommend.

Great price and only a few minutes walk from the tram; city centre in about 10-15 minutes. Large clean rooms and also has good gym facilities with a pool included. Travelling on business and would definitely stop here again when flying into Edinburgh.

Good hotel a 20 minute drive from the center of Edinburgh. Breakfast is full. The gym and the pool are a plus.

Nice hotel with everything I needed. Conveniently located for work, and only a short tram journey into Haymarket. The staff are excellent, the food in the restaurant is very tasty and good value, and it has great leisure facilities. And to top it off, I got it at a great price.

Great location close to the airport and tram station make it convenient. Not to close to either that there is much noise. Room could be a little cleaner and there is no coffee pot. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

A nice hotel, comfy bed and spacious room. All amenities were available in the rooms such as iron/ hair dryer. The food was really good I enjoyed the burger and not overpriced unless you include breakfast, even though there was plenty of choice I found it to be pricy.

Good location right next to the tram and the train stations. The rooms are decent but could do with a more attentive house keeping as there were visible crumbs when I checked in presumably left by the previous guests. Food is alright although I'd recommend going of into the city centre to a proper restaurant.

The hotel has good facilities for meetings and the rooms are comfortable if a bit basic. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good. It costs about £15 for a taxi to get there from the town centre.

We are staying here yet and so I'd like to present my gratitude for all the services that it presents highly recommended services that lead us to the center one 100 meters personal dedicated and very nice. We will return to other novotel.

The room and services are excellent for the price I paid. Hotel staff are all very friendly and rooms are extremely clean. I did not eat at the hotel but prices for meals were reasonable, breakfast was a bit pricey for me but there are cheaper locations nearby for those not wanting to pay. Only downsides is that the TV wasn't very good, not an issue for me as I don't really watch it. And the Wi-Fi, though being good compared to other hotels, isn't brilliant — it would occasionally drop and be a bit slow. Again, compared to other hotels it's pretty damn good. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone after a decent room with friendly service at a reasonable price.

Stayed with my wife as we were attending an event in Edinburgh city centre and we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel top to bottom was imaculate. Our room was larger than we had imagined it would be and the bed was very comfortable. The shower and toiet space was well designed with plenty space. We didnt use the leisure facilities but the dining area is very comfortable and the food of a reasonable quality if a little pricier than we would have thought. Gettinginto the city was a breeze with the tram and train station a couple of minutes walk away. I would happily return to the Novatel Edinburgh Park for another visit.

Booked room on the same day as arrival. Was issue with booking but sorted within seconds — apparently a tech issue due to systems changes that day. Couldn't get in room with room key but a maid let me with hers when I asked if I was using key correctly. Key worked an hour later — again I think this was due to systems issue. They let me arrive earlier than the booking time and the room was clean and the shower a dream after a long overnight drive from Ireland. Staff were courteous and did all they could for me. Would recommend.

The location isn't central, but it's right next to a tram stop so you can be downtown in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Would certainly recommend.

Great Stay. I loved the steam room, the air was scented with bergmont, which was really refreshing. We forgot our China to UK power converter and they provided one to us instantly. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was very hospitable and helpful! I do wish their late night menu had more than a cheese sandwiches on it, but beggars can't be choosers.

A great value-for-money hotel. With a pool, gym, bar and restaurant on offer at great rates you won't get much better. Parking is free, and the transport from here into town is superb — trams and trains just outside the hotel.

I stayed there in September 2015 for the third time (after 2012 and 2014). Staff is very friendly and helpful at the front desk as well as in the restaurant. Only bar tender on last stay seemed to have little interest in me. Rooms are also nice, last two times I stayed in an Executive Room. I like these very much since they are on the top floor with a little balcony. Location is great with Tram station right by the hotel (15-20 minutes to city center) and a Tesco close by. When traveling by car location is perfect. Free parking with enough spaces so no problem using the car whenever you like and also getting there is no problem. Only critic is the variety of the breakfast buffet regarding e. G. Cheese and other dairy products. But this is typical for the UK and seen from a German perspective… I definitely will stay there again when visiting Edinburgh next time.

Great ive been before. The swimming pool is great and large enough for most people in the entire novotel. 5 STARS from me the hotel is exceptionally perfect.

Beds are pretty comfy and the shower is wonderful. Had a room on the side facing the train/tram, but didn't hear it one bit. Very easy access to the city sights with the train station only a few minutes walk away. Restaurant portions didn't go well with the price, but the food was good.

The Internet was extremely slow and hard to connect to. There were no wall plugs near the beds to charge any electronics. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great.

This is a hotel thats so posh its crap! Food is on the whole under-cooked and over priced. That's assuming they get the order correct. It's miles away from anything with railway running up close and personal. They could definitely take lessons from the premier inn. All in all it's for posh twats with their heads up their own assess.
