Very cheap to stay here, lovely room and bed. Plenty to chose from for breakfast. Lovely helpful staff… definitely use again.

Rooms OK. Reception staff superb. Parking area diabolical. Car park needs to be at least 4 times bigger.

Although not in the city centre, it is near a large shopping area and the Tram that takes you into Edinburgh city centre… all within walking distance.
Hotel is clean, staff is ever helpful and it feels so comfortable staying here.
Will most certainly consider staying here on next visit.

Well for a start not overbook the hotel, and when we arrived at 3am after a long day travelling from Gran Canaria we were told this. They informed us that they had a hotel in the centre of Edinburgh for us… really, we just wanted a few hours kip before we travelled back to Aberdeen. The insult was that they told us we had cancelled which we didn't and still the money was deducted out off my account at 11pm on the 8th, we are still awaiting a phone call from the duty manager… btw this had been booked for 2 months before our departure. The staff 2 of them couldn't care less.

I just like the place. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Price is reasonable, its safe, Wi-Fi is easy to access.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working and the bed very uncomfortable. On the upside, the hotel is close to the bus and tram stops and 20mins later your in the CBD.

It is a budget but you get all the amenities of a hotel but you have to get it yourself as for a tea and coffee that is in the reception airer, clean and comfy rooms, good and polite staff, food to take away to room or eat in the breakfast airer.

Lousy third bed mola have made the three days… Very far from the centre of Edinburgh… And the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired… I won't be back for the price there are lots of accommodations of all kinds and much more central… Is the staff the best.

The worst place I've ever stayed in despite costing £109 for one midweek advance booked night! Budget hotel with premium price. Truly grim place with plastic moulded shower within the room. Tiny room. I pay the same to stay at The Hilton at Edinburgh airport… the difference in hotel quality is huge. Avoid the Ibis. No connection to Ibis except as a very disappointed paying customer. Why can't I leave zero stars?

Pleasantly surprised by this. Straight forward no nonsense stay. It's a hotel amidst commercial centre, great for business, but lots of families and tourists — like us — there. Staff mostly foreign so be prepared to explain things but they are helpful and swift. Great location for short walk to 25min tram in to city centre. And only Frankie & Bennies nearby open late for dinner otherwise they do a great snack — including fresh pizza — at the hotel. It's not really a restaurant but a cafe but speedy, straight forward, no fuss.

Room ok, something noisy there next to the Expressway are the Windows. Breakfast is great!

The room we stayed in felt like a hospital ward and smelled exactly like a hospital toilet. The toilet didn't have a light switch and we had to rely on the light turning itself off after 5-10 minutes, which isn't ideal in the middle of the night. The member of staff on duty was very friendly and did his best to help but there was obviously little he could do. The bed was also very comfortable. At 6am a loud knocking sound started just outside our room and lasted for about an hour. Much of the breakfast cutlery was dirty.

While the room suited my needs, I feel like the Ibis in Edinburgh Park leaves a lot to be desired. There was only one plug (that I could find) in what was advertised as a double bed room. Also what was they meant by double bed was in fact just two beds pushed together. I couldn't find any information about the breakfast times in any of the brochures in the room so I took to the Ibis website which said breakfast was from 4am until midday, but when I arrived in the lobby at 10:15am, I was told that breakfast had ended at 10am. So that's £5 out the window. Then when I picked up a panini and went to the front desk, to get it grilled, I found it empty. I waited around for a bit but nothing seemed to happen. So instead of a big breakfast before my flight, I went to the airport on an empty stomach. Edit: After reaching out to Ibis I was issued a refund for the breakfast. Changed rating accordingly for the service.

It's good. But we despeetsrom in the middle of the night an alarm that did not know what it was and did not get off.

Dire! It is clean with an adequate, but very ordinary continental breakfast. Although we were advised it had a dining room, it does not. It has an area off reception with refectory type tables and kindergarten seats. There is no privacy and a dinner menu that most transport cafes would be ashamed of. They don't do lunchtime food unless you are happy with a vending machine. There is no tea/coffee in the rooms which, though clean, are dreadful. The toilet is a tiny cubicle off the bedroom, and the shower area — I can't call it a room — is a miniscule box. When you enter the shower box you are in the shower; there is nowhere to dry yourself other than in the shower! It is NOT a budget hotel, costing circa £100.00 per night with breakfast extra at £5.50 per person. Will we stay here again? Are you mad? Can we recommend it? Absolutely NOT!

Just as you imagine an ibis budget. Bright, clean and standardized. There is no real Bathroom. The Shower is in the middle of the Room and the Toilet is separated only by a wooden board door (open above). Both Without Ventilation. Being alone, it didn't bother me. Breakfast for 5.50 is cheap, but you must not have high Expectations. There are Rolls, Croissants and Cereal. The Staff was very friendly!

Great budget hotel with helpful staff. We’ve used Ibis budget a few times now and found them great if you just want somewhere to put your head down for a few nights. The rooms are an unusual setup — the shower opens directly into the room itself. Breakfast is good value and there is a fast food menu available. The tram can be caught just over the road and goes directly into the city centre in about 15mins.

Spontaneous stopover due to flight failure. Really top! 24-hour reception, breakfast for 5, 50 pounds far better than expected, room small but functional and very cheap. Great value for money! Room can be vacated up to 12 hours!

This place is bare bones. No shampoo, bring your own. Toilet is tucked into a corner; sink is outside in the open. Food is not included at base price. Nowhere to open your suitcase. No privacy when traveling with someone you're not intimate with.

Budget hotel but not price. Car park was a health and safety issue. My son had to borrow the snow shovel to clear some of it because staff obviously weren't going to. Had to ask for stained sheets to be changed. The room was cold and all reception said was takes 7 minutes to kick to us and other people who complained. Try 5 hours. No kettle in the room but a shower with flashing lights. Just what you need. The shower opened in to the main living space. Trying to look trendy. Unlikely to book again and certainly wouldn't recommend.

I chose this hotel because of its closeness to the airport. But it was gorgeous. Modern and funky with great staff. Will definitely use it again. Easy walk to tram direct to airport or city centre.

Hassle free check-in, late night pizza and drinks available, good breakfast served in large time zone and simple check-out. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable and perfect after a long flight. Would recommend for short stays.

Staff was friendly, room looks like a hospital room. The sink is in the room, the shower has an LED shower head, quite nice. The toilet does not actually go, is modern but not toilet brush and the door is only fixed with magnet, up and down 10 cm free. You hear everything. So you should know each other well when you're two. Bed was OK, not too small and not too soft. Breakfast was good, not an insane amount of choice but you get fed up. Coffee is from Tchibo. For one night it was OK. Nevertheless, the actually non-existent bathroom disturbs enormously. Cleanliness was fine.

The Ibis is a good one night stopover hotel. The rooms are very small and minimalistic. No tea or coffee facilities you can get drinks down at reception. Beds are comfortable. Basically all you need for a stopover.

Very basic but comfortable. Heating in rooms via aircon so you can set to your own preference, amazing shower booth and toilet facility in the room. Menu limited but meals are good, all you can eat breakfast for £5.50, great to set you up for the day. Serves alcohol and soft drinks. Staff friendly and very helpful. Dedicated taxi call switch and mobile phone charge ports available in the resteraunt/reception area. For the money, it's a 5 stars from me.

Location of the hotel was fantastic for getting the tram into the city centre, just a 2 minute walk and then 20 minutes on the tram. The downsides for me were the bedding, very thin duvet and only one pillow each, no hair dryer in the room and only 2 sockets. Very friendly and efficient staff and as we just needed somewhere to sleep while we attended the Christmas fair it did what we needed it too.

The hotel was very clean and modern looking. The rooms are very basic but functional so ideal if you are just using it to sleep and wash. Only toiletries was a bar of soap and towels are rough. I did not opt for the breakfast so cannot comment. The location was perfect, walking distance to the trams and parking outside the hotel is free. Only gave 3 stars as price during the Christmas market time was increased dramatically and in my mind took it out of the budget market and made it mainstream prices with budget facilities. Did what we needed it to.

This is the most dreary and depressing room I ever stayed in. Cold. Bare. No tea/coffee. Hard mattress. Thin duvet. Bare cold bathroom. Only inefficient and slow ac as heating. The clue was in the name but I will never stay again. 39 gbp no breakfast. For one person. For one night. Budget but not bargain.

Ordinary hotel. A lot of tourists. About the hotel live rabbits. To the city centre — tram in walking distance. There is a grocery in the Mall and in the same coffee shop. Breakfast usual.

This hotel was clean and quiet. I did get a good night's sleep and a fresh shower. That is basically all. I feel I could have gotten more for my dollar at a different hotel. I paid 88 pounds and what I got was barely a step above a hostel. The price and the product weren't in sync.

We spent a night (and an afternoon at the bar in this hotel because it was cancelled a flight. The mattress and pillows were among the most comfortable that we have found in Scotland. The breakfast was great, only flaw is the bathroom door that does not close. The room is very small as spaces, perfect for our needs, but not for long stays. The point of strength for us was the staff, extremely friendly, nice and helpful.

In short, our stay was brilliant. We arrived early and stored our luggage while waiting for our room. Did some exploring in town while waiting. Came back and got the room key and luggage from the very helpful staff. The room was brilliant, and the staff helped us with all our requests and questions through out. Slept great!

Comfortable inexpensive hotel near the Airport. What is surprising in the courtyard of rabbits about 15 pieces. : —) Across the street from a huge supermarket. A taxi to the airport costs £ 11, serve time 3 min. Is Very kind and helpful staff, especially the tall kid well speaking in Russian…

Id heard such negative comments in the weeks leading up to my trip from colleagues, that I was quite apprehensive. I had a lot of work to do in my short trip, so a good nights sleep, hot shower was essential. I loved it! Yes its tiny, yes its lots of moulded white plastic. BUT… It was VERY clear, VERY quiet, and everything in the room worked… The room reminded me of a recent glamping pod I had stayed in this summer over a weekend. I mean that in a nice way too. I loved it, and will come back.

We spent 5 nights in the hotel, had evening meal twice and breakfast every day. The breakfasts were fine, eat as much as you want with a reasonable variety. The evening meal menu is limited but adequate for short stays. The hotel is nicely situated for taking the tram to the centre of Edinburgh. The rooms are adequate with en suite toilet and shower and the bed is comfortable.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the Ibis Edinburgh Park hotel. The room was very well designed and our daughter loved the bunk bed! It was a short walk to the train and an easy ride to the city center. It was easy to park and/or call a taxi to the hotel. The continental breakfast was delicious — we all loved the warm croissants! You could also get a coffee/cappuccino/latte downstairs all day. We would stay in an Ibis again — great first experience!

The hotel is situated reasonably close the airport, around two miles away, and has good transport links with the frequent buses and trams. When doing online check-in before arriving at the hotel, collecting the key took a couple of seconds at the from desk. Staff were polite and service was good for the little interaction required. The buffet continental breakfast in the morning was filling, had a good selection and was pleasant to eat.

For one night before taking a flight back it was perfect.

Parking is in front of the hotel but it was quite difficult to find a space as it gets very busy. Check in was efficient and very helpful, very positive lively welcome! The hotel room was very clean and although small suited our purposes well … just one night stay before early morning flight. Chose not to eat in the hotel but at least you could get food if needed and other restaurants were relatively close by. Close access to rail links was good as one of our party didn't arrive until midnight. Would stay again!

The hotel is a little bit small, but the room is confortable. The problem is the shower, you have no privacy at all (the "door" is a glass). You pay for the breakfast, but the value is worth it. There is a big variety of fruits, breads, cheeses and coffees. It is very well located. Even a little far from the city centre, there is a tram station right in front of the hotel, and it goes do the centre very quickly. There is also a supermarket near to the hotel, you can buy some snacks from there. For the price paid, the Ibis Budget franchise is always a good choice.

Not much positive, otherwise a rather quiet room, quite well insulated. It was cold in the room, it took down to ask for heating. The reception staff listens, but not super friendly, irritated at the idea that one does not understand the English right away. Pillows too hard … sore neck …

The area, hotel and the room was very well kept and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and full breakfast was available even if we were a bit late. Check in and out was hassle free and parking was available. The area felt safe and in very good location. You got supermarket, shops and tram to the city centre and airport just outside the hotel!

Modern hotel with small but very functional rooms for a good value for money. Right next to a large shopping centre and tram to get to the city centre quickly, but also to the nearby airport. Classic Breakfast but in quantity.

Very nice, modern hotel. 9 because there is always room for improvement. Great value and quality.

Very well received by the staff. We had left our luggage in the morning, having the car to return. Public transportation is perfect. The small rooms are very adequate and well soundproofed. We had asked the reception a taxi to 45 the morning of our departure. Everything went well.
Only downside, the restaurant could be improved.

Staff were great, premises were spotless and lovely to be in. Coffee ordered was a less than should be in the cup and could have been delivered to our table rather than waiting for 3 beverages made and paid for one at a time. Overall, I would definately go there again.

This is our go to hotel while in Edinburgh and stayed here many times. The hotel is spotless and rooms are lovely. The food when we were there was great and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is situated a very short walk from the tram stop making it a very handy place to stay.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is great. Tram and train station within 5 minutes walk with a Krispy creme and shops nearby. Would recommend.

Plenty of ameneties available from a reasonable pool and some gym equipment. I did not use the bar during this visit but I have previously and the menu has plenty to satisfy anyone but is expensive especially breakfast. Room wise it seemed I was in a superior room, I did not personally find the bed comfy however this is probably more down to me than the bed as I am more used to a softer mattress. The shower facilities were fantastic as was the bathroom on top. Of this the complementary bottled water in the fridge was a nice addition. TV wise it was quite poor really it would be great to see hotels embrace chrome casts and larger tvs. There was an iron in the room and air conditioning available so great all around.

Been twice now with my hubby when we are going to events in Edinburgh and its been great. Its a budget hotel which means just that, its excellent for just staying over. Staff very pleasant and accomodating. Def would go back… and if you dont like the breakfast… well you have The Gyle Centre across the road with unlimited trams and buses into the city 5mins away :)

Not worth one star because the customer service was terrible how the staff at front desk spoke with me and my family disgusting did not understand what we were saying either as neither of them had good English. Also very insulting name calling us etc very cocky will not be staying here again and would defo not recommend!

Recently stayed in 5* hotel in Abu Dhabi with Buffett breakfast fit for a king. Huge room overlooking the water, private beach … pool / sunbathing for the same money per night!
How can you justify this price?

This hotel has a very modern theme to it. With regards to the rooms it was a bit small and slightly cramped. I had a queen size bunk on the bottom with a single on the tip deck of a double decker. There was a small desk to do any sort of work there at the foot of the bed. The bathroom, sink and toilet were all next too each other in a pretty small space. One thing to keep in mind the room fits three people but unless you're very comfortable with your company you'd wanna stay far, reson being the bathroom does not lock and there is a cut out to open it so while you are bathing members of the room can see you. Also the bathroom door is transparent to the where you bodily outline can be seen from outside the door. The toilet also does not lock however it has a small magnetic clip to keep it closed. However anyone from the outside can open it at any time. The hotel has provided a bar of soap. No extras such as shampoo and cream if you're accustomed to that sort of luxury. Overall the rooms are small but gets the job done for a budget hotel. I stayed for the breakfast which was an add on feature for me. It was the usual array of breads and pastries along with a couple of cereals, milk and yogurt. Also to mention there is free Wi-Fi included throughout the hotel. Generally if you're okay with rooms this hotel is a good stay.

Rooms very small but clean! Housekeeping has 3. The bed in the room not made up. The Breakfast was ok. Located right next to a Tram stop, which runs in about 25 minutes directly to the city.

Very Friendly and clean. The Hotel is located somewhat outside, but Edinburgh is easily reached by Tram in about 20 min. Dogs are also welcome. Happy again!

Close to tramlines, easy for central Edinburgh, rooms clean and comfortable, staff friendly and very helpful, everything you need for a base without paying for all the frills. We used it for a two day, one night shopping trip and I was very impressed.

The room was small but comfortable and functional. The staff is very friendly. It offers food and drink at the reception. The location is near the airport, in an area of offices. Free parking is available.

Great value for money. In a quiet area outside of the city but only 15 mins walk to the station. Great choice for the Fringe on a budget.

My wife and I had planned spending 3 days in Edinburgh before we flew back to Perth Australia.
Checked in staff were really nice and we got in room early too.
We thought we would just leave the bags in hotel and go to the shops for some last minute presents.
However long story short my wife had an accident in the shopping centre and broke her ankle.
Ambulance straight to hospital.
Upon returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning I asked the staff if they had a wheel chair for my wife. Wheelchair came out and I wheeled her in. I asked if they now had a disabled room due to my wife being in crutches and the wheelchair. 2 minutes later we had a disabled room,
I asked what difference I had to pay and they said no extra charge.

A few minutes drive from the airport, the rooms are simple but cosy, the staff is very friendly. Features of coffee machine available to guests. Shopping centre only a 3 minute walk away.

Close to the airport and the tram that 1.6 lbs takes you to Princess St. The breakfast "continental" is a disappointment. Rooms a bit cramped and without privacy. Well for one night. The reception staff is very friendly.

Hotel very comfortable next to a tram stop that takes you from the Airport to the centre of Edinburgh. Close to the airport which is convenient if you have to travel the next day.

The hotel is very basic although clean and modern. Free Wi-Fi throughout and a reasonable price to stay. My room was a queen bed with a bunk above it, the room setup does not have a seperate bathroom. The toilet is in a cupboard and the sink and shower are next to the bed. I did find the bed quite uncomfortable and the nights sleep not that great other people may like the matress type.

The hotel is pretty new. Very friendly reception personnel. The location of the hotel is splendid. Just across the road is the tram station. Takes only 20 minutes to the City of Edinburgh. The rooms are very clean. Beds are OK. There is no noise. Breakfast is priceworthy. Wi-Fi is pretty good. The hotel is also near the airport. We must say that the tram connections are splendid. The Ibis budget is to be advised.

The location is great plus the simple but clean and comfortable is superb. The only thing I missed was having a kettle in the room for a cuppa.

Clean, modern and maintained well… Reason for medium score. Decor very austere, bland and basic. Fixtures and supplies in minimum supply. Plastic chair reminded of school. Shower and sink in bedroom. Toilet cubical as small as possible with only a magnetic clip to keep door closed. Very noisy, sound proofing seemed to be non existent. In my opinion not a patch on a Premier Inn. Can't see me staying in one of these hotels again.

Perfect Hotel to spend a weekend. Close to the airport, very well communicated with the center by tram and close to a shopping centre. Varied breakfast for the price paid. Recommended if you can stand a small room but with everything.

This is a perfect hotel if you just need a place to sleep and nothing more. We arrived at midnight without a booking but had called ahead and were told there was space. We had a quick check in and a quiet nights sleep. They have parking, but the parking near the hotel was full so we had to park at a local supermarket where they had an agreement. The room was cold when we arrived and was heated by a air-conditioning heating combo so the room got very dry as it warmed up. We had a quick check out and didn't stay for the continental breakfast. I'd stay again if arriving late or flying early.

This is an Ibis Budget. You get, what you pay for. The rooms are small and have the charm of a combination of Star Trek and a prison cell. Our both rooms were very tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of everything available. Just the Wi-Fi isn't the best. Works, but is really, really slow.

That was the most digusting hotel I have ever been. Hairs on the bed, toenails on the ground, blood spots on the pillow, dirt in every corner. If you wanna feel like in a prison cell, just enjoy a night in the Ibis Budget Hotel. Following a stay you get also charged for smoking in the room although you have never smoked in the room, and this is everything you pay for. Enjoy an unforgettable stay in the Ibis in Edinburgh.

Small rooms with no closets, you are forced to put their clothes in suitcases on the floor, bad cleaning don't clean the ground, don't settle all beds and trimming don't change the sheets, can boast only to offer a decent breakfast. Laundry service very bad, do not divide whites from all stain, leaving any colored sweater delivered you restringerá at least two sizes and once completed the service, you will receive all the damp clothes.
