Very nice apartment, plenty of space for family of 4 and more at 20 Lochrin Place, Flat 2. Had everything that we needed for a short break. Liked the location, quiet and away from the hussle and bussle but only a 10 minute walk from the main areas. Plenty of places within walking distance to eat and stock up on food. Would recommend TucTuc if you want some very tasty indian food, and it is unlicensed so you can take your own drink. Service was good too, was greeted at the time arranged and seen off too. Got an Uber to the airport for £16.
The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. It was clean & very well presented. The staff were so helpful as we got lost & they come & found us & took us back to the apartment. There was everything you needed including complimentary tea & coffee. The apartments were close to Grass Market just a 10 minute walk then another 10 to the castle. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that I did not sleep well as the beds were really uncomfortable. Other than that I couldn't fault it & I really appreciate the staff coming to find us. I would reccomend these apartments.

Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you're only in Edinburgh for a few weeks. EPA is situated along an offshoot of a primary road, which translates to a lot less noise pollution, whilst still having easy access to attractions both by Car, transit or foot. However, there are still a number of issues which prevent me from recommending this location. Firstly, don't be fooled by the promotional images offered by the owner. This place is student accomodation, through and through. This wouldn't be a problem, if it were advertised as such. Many facilities are quite low quality; windows and balcony doors open up onto the blinds, which has wrecked them. Using the balcony in the second bedroom is awkward because of this. However, the main reason I would not recommend this place is the doors. Specifically, the security of said doors. The outside PIN door was rarely locked, and the individual apartment corridor doors were dodgy as well. I wouldn't take the risk personally, especially if you are elderly, or have young children.
