Reviews of Castle Rock Hostel 2*
The best hostel of my life. Staff is so nice, rooms are clean and the common areas are very cool. The location is perfect with a great view of Edimburgh Castle and the price is good. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much!
Good and Excellent front desk service. It’s good for solo travellers or for a group of ladies it’s safe place to stay.
The prices are cheap. The staff are friendly. Did I mention the prices are cheap? there are great communal areas which make it easy to socialise and make friends. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Edinburgh.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff for following me during panicking, fainting down the stair and THE GENTLE, CARING, REASSURING REBECCA WHO ASSISTED ME TO NHS AND BACK TO THE HOSTEL. ❤️ guys that what none of jour job, i'm inclearbly amazed by your empathy, I just have no words — so i'm buying you 50£ of food delivery. (Rebecca chose not to take any part of the money personally. 🤙🏻) Just talk between yourselves it out and I'll do the payment on PayPal or just leave my card downstairs with my pin code. ❤️
Hostel looks incredible inside, true magic! I can highly recommend this place! Will come back ❤️
Very friendly hostel. I loved.
Amazing view from my room on the top floor, super uniquely decorated interior, comfortable lounges, but the best part of the Castle Rock Hostel is easily the people. The employees/long-term residents are all absolutely wonderful people and turned what was likely going to be a lonely last couple of nights in Edinburgh into something I didn’t want to leave. I’m really bad with names, but shoutout to the 2 Aussie girls especially for reaching out and letting me in on some of the fun.
I’ll definitely be back soon! Probably for a much longer period of time!
Best place ever.
The perfect holiday doesn't exist? Why haven't you been to this Hostel!
I arrived alone from Italy, only later joined by a friend.
I needed a place to find myself, a stimulating space to work on my being in the world, outside the confines of routine.
I met people from everywhere in the world, all interesting, real, alive! It was a crazy exchange, and there I left a piece of my heart.
I would like to go back, also as a volunteer, and stop and live the wonderful Edinburgh for a few months. Never before breathed such a charming and enveloping atmosphere.
Castle Rock, I Love You!
We'll meet up again asap ❤️
The best hostal in Edinburgh. The staff is so friendly and everyone is so nice. Bruce is the best!
The best hostel I've been to, I would recommend :) Great service!
Best hostel ever! Lovely, fun great people work here and are very friendly. Really nice atmosphere and they organize a load of really fun events to participate. Everything is super clean and service is great. Stayed here for a whole week and I honestly don’t want to leave. Will definitely come back.
Best place ever! I was there like 2 days ago… And I love the place, the stuff is very nice, u can meet People from all over the World… Dont doubt with this place… And also a very clean place! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hostel has a very nice location right next to the castle with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby as well as easy connection to the airport. The hostel itself had clean rooms with big lockers to safely store items and nice clean bathrooms. Also, staff was very friendly.
Best hostel I‘ve ever stayed at. Was in a huge dorm with free lockers and they give you two pillows (which I’ve never had at a hostel before). Very clean and amazing facilities. Lovely staff and an all around great vibe. Would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Edinburgh and try and stay on a Thursday for the free pub crawl. Thanks :)
I had the best stay in this hostel. The rooms are huge and clean, beds and sheets are clean. They have a really big kitchen and is always clean. I have my own locker. Common places are really cool and the staff is super helpful. Excellent location! The hostel is just awesome!
All beds are already made, so no need to put on sheets yourself! So many rooms to meet others or chill. Staff are helpful and engaging. Hostel is located so close to Edinburgh Castle, perfect for photo opportunities. Events on every night. Breakfast is only £1.50! Plenty of room is the 12bed dorm. Definitely a hostel for younger crowd. Had a big night and had to come back after breakfast to sleep in during midday and staff kindly closed the curtains. Witnessed staff cleaning and changing beds.
Best hostel I’ve stayed in the UK. Old building with a lot of charm. Great places to hang out in the building. Rooms are large and comfy bunks with two pillows. Showers were strong and hot. Good security. Perfect location just beneath the castle. Fun stuff to do each night of the week and great staff (especially Bridget who joined our team for trivia and we ended up winning and having an amazing time).
Lovely hostel in a perfect location in Edinburgh. The only way you'll be closer to the castle is if you're friends with the Queen. The room themes were really fun, great beds, great showers, nice staff. I felt safe n the area and inside the hostel. I really liked the wall with suggestions and the different kinds of lounges. The kitchen was good too. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.
Great hostel, great service and great ambience! We are definitely booking here again.
A cozy and very nice place both inside and out. The position of the hostel could not be better in the old town in front of the castle, 3 min climbing stairs. The rooms are well-prepared, in general bunks, warm comfortable and with large windows to air or have good views.
The private showers with doors and very practical, the toilets always clean and in perfect condition. As for the rest of the hostel you can say that meets all the needs that a good backpacker can ask, of any age. It has music room with several guitars and a turntable, reading room with a piano, cinema room with projector and armchairs, free-use kitchen and a dining room. Other than that it has a large living room with two floors for breakfast which are very cheap and complete (1, 50 pounds).
They have closed in order to leave your suitcase after checkout and all the receptionist are very nice and friendly, some of them also speaks Castilian in case you have difficulties with the language.
It's not the cheapest hostel I've ever been to but it's so well prepared that it doesn't matter much.
This is my 2nd experience here, and so far it has been fantastic! Their prices are very reasonable, they are located at an AWESOME place, right at the base of the castle so you have a great view and easy access to the royal mile. Their amenities are pretty great, especially for travelers. It's a really fun environment and everyone for the most part is really respectful. The people who work there are super friendly and willing to answer your questions on things to see or a good place to get a certain dish that you might want to try (fried Mars bar? ). I've loved it here and would definitely prefer to stay here than anywhere else!
The hostel was very nice. Check in was friendly and check out was super easy. Backs felt safe in the luggage storage room as you have to show a card to get access. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were very informative. It's nice that the beds were made for when we arrived. I will say there is a line up for the showers in the morning as we only had 2 on our floor. And they were a little dirty in terms of mold on the shower rod and such. Probably should wear some sandals in the shower. But other then that it was pretty great!
I recommend this Hotel to everyone, because it is located in the same castle in Edinburgh and besides it is very cozy.
Well-maintained, well-maintained and clean hostel. The staff were friendly and super helpful, area central and great prices.
Outstanding location. The hostel itself is beautifully themed, it’s almost like going back in time. The staff are very kind and helpful. The events are well orchestrated. The beds were comfortable and the price is fair. One piece of feedback would be to theme the rooms in a similar fashion to the rest of the hostel, then it would be absolutely perfect!
This place was amazing! So conveniently located, literally at the base of the castle, and it had great staff and a great atmosphere. We stayed in a very small (but affordable) private room during the Christmas holiday and they made it really special. They did a big Christmas luncheon on and a party that evening at a local pub. The also surprised everyone with Christmas sock "stockings" on Christmas morning. Laundry services were cheap and you don't have to spend 3 hours in a room watching your clothes dry. Would absolutely stay here again!
It is a very large hostel, many spaces, several rooms to be able to be, the kitchen has two spaces, one of the various refrigerators, with tables, and another space to cook, several burners.
It has the living room type or be with a huge table, armchairs, another table smaller pool, etc. Places with two PCs, another type library with a piano.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are shared, the good Q has several space for toilets, pools and showers so Q is always available despite having many rooms and many beds. The water is always warm.
Despite the cold outside, we never felt cold inside, even sometimes we had heat.
It's decorated in relation to the castles. There are staff Q speaks in English and others in Castilian.
Has a landline for common use, works as a prepaid, there are Q buy the cards in the Super Tésco and there is another place but Q do not remember.
Best hostel experience ever. Period. Castle Rock had amazing staff, nice and clean rooms, great bathroom/kitchen facilities too. Where it really shines is its free evening activities: everything from ghost tours to beer pong! I went on the Ceilidh night (traditional Scottish dancing) and pub crawl — both were amazing fun and some of the best nights I have ever had. Got to meet amazing people, drink lots and have a ridiculously good time. A perfect way to experience the stunning place that is Edinburgh.
I loved it! Very good location, clean rooms, the common areas very spacious and the breakfast basic but sufficient and cheap. At the reception very friendly.
Perfect location right across from the castle, friendly staff and clean and spacious dorm space and common areas. The high ceiling made even the 16 bed dorm feel roomy. Would definitely stay here again.
Very central budget hostel. With kitchen, coffee, tea and chocolate free disposal.
Perfect location, allows you to turn the main points of interest of the city on foot, wherever you want to arrive. The common spaces (many! ) are very large and well-equipped. The guys at the front desk kind and always available. The décor is definitely quaint! Only thing would are the showers, a little claustrophobic.
Excellent location right next to the castle. Stayed with a couple of friends and was surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, and beds. Very affordable and they have great staff. The staff recommended a lot of adventures that turned out to be nice and we also got discounts at other places and restaurants for staying in this hostel. Would definitely go there again if I'm back in Edinburgh.
A hotel with excellent location, the view to the castle is beautiful from the outside or inside as well as the view to the city. The rooms are spacious and even in the shared rooms you get good privacy. The bathroom facilities are good and neat. It has kitchen that keep in good order and is very large so there is always room for one more. Breakfast is small and not very cheap but there is always coffee available. There are different rooms of stay and that allows you to get away from the noise and have tranquility. I recommend it a lot. The people at the front desk are always willing to help and there is free luggage storage for guests of the hostel.
We were in July and the staff attention was great.
The impeccable rooms, considering that it is a hostel and that there are rooms up to more than 10 people. The bathrooms were almost always free. They have a dining room and have fridges to be used at your disposal. Very central, next to Castle Rock, 1 min.
Great accommodations! Everyone is so friendly and has great suggestions. The beds are actually very comfortable and the hostel is probably one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! Will recommend to everyone!
Very attentive staff and very good place. The beds were durmas and the staff were very helpful.
One of the best hostels I've been to. The room was excellent and the rooms were very quiet. The staff also very friendly, although I didn't meet anyone at reception who spoke Spanish. Breakfast costs £1.5 and for the price is fine: a bowl of cereal with milk, a fruit, toast and a glass of juice. Coffee and chocolate (Colacaro to understand, nothing thick to wet churros) free throughout the day.
In general it is highly recommended for people who are in the way to visit Edinburgh (the location is unbeatable) and for travelers who want to stay for a few weeks.
Nice, helpful staff, with clean rooms and great communal spaces. The place is well decorated, with themed communal rooms for chilling out or reading. It's a but if a party hostel, but not so much that there was ever too much noise or the place was unbearably busy. Highly recommended and a bargain for the price!
By far the best Hostel I've stayed in! Really nice facilities, great service, great people, everything was very clean and organized… we had a great time in the hostel! I will definitely recommend to anyone that wouldn't mind sharing a room with strangers to stay in the Castle Rock Hostel in Edinburgh! Plus, the location is just perfect!
This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in (after ~50 hostels), best price ever amazing value. The staff are amazing, their is activities every night and so you can make a lot of friends. (pub quiz, ghost tour, pub crawl) Then you can enjoy your time in one of there lounges (main lounge, quiet room, cinema room, Internet room, two kitchens, pool table and a balcony place to chill out over the main lounge). Every bed has plugs and a small light and a private locker (that is something I really appreciate, and being able to have your phone beside you at night plugged in). Showers and toilets are ALWAYS clean, I keep expecting to see a wet toilet seat or dirty shower at least once but it has NOT happened. And all of this for a few pounds a night (of don't forget you can get a small breakfast for £1.50 add on)
Castle Rock Hostel has got to be by far the best place I have ever stayed. The location couldn’t be any better with the Edinburgh Castle across the road. The staff are amazing and so accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. I love this place so much and have so many great memories! I tell everyone who
is visiting Edinburgh to stay here!
Awesome location! Great staff! Excellent chillout areas and fireplace to keep warm. Definitely would recommend to any back packers looking to stay near the action for cheap. Will be back! Keep it real guys!
A fantastic hostel, great staff and great interior. A lot of thought has gone into the establishment and all of the amenities are really clean. A very good location just off Edinburghs royal mile. I would recommend in an instant. Games room/cinema/common rooms/multiple kitchens with ample food storage for all.
A beautiful hostel close to walking distance to the castle and the heart of Edinburgh. About 10 min walk to get to the bus terminal to the airport. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all times. Staff available. Free Tours and tours in the evenings. Exceptional Environment! Will. Recommended at 100%
A great place, The guys at the front desk were very nice and the place is super cute, especially for the price paid. It is in a great location and it is impossible to get lost when you have to go back there, just look up the castle. The bathrooms are common, but very clean, the rooms are satisfactory and most importantly they are not all the same, however besides the bunk beds it was a power outlet for each bed, there are also lockers where to put your own things of value, however they are not Big enough for the Valigione. Often in the evening they organize entertaining evenings in common rooms.
This was one of the best European hostels I went to! It was a huge facility, themed rooms, wonderful 24/7 reception, great breakfast, perfect location. Overall I was so happy I stayed here! Will absolutely come again :D.
First off, the location of the hostel is amazing. It's right next to the castle and has some amazing views of the city. The employees are incredibly friendly and there are organized events most nights. Tonight, I'm going to go Scottish dancing. The hostel itself is very cute. The vibe reminds me of a coffee house. People hang out here and interact with each other. Overall, I love this place.
An awesome hostel. It offers an activity every day and the staff is really friendly. You can relax in the lounge or in the movie theater. The hostel offer free tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Room and kitchen were clean. The location is great. You can see the castle from the front door.
I have been to more than 6 different hostels in Edinburgh and I can assure you that this is the best of all of them. Nice atmosphere, safety, excellent stuff and also — something that no other hostel offers in Edinburgh and it's highly appreciated — free milk to prepare your chocolate, cofee or tea!
Amazing staff very polite and extremely helpful and make you feel very welcome. Very tidy place with cheap good breakfast, great location for tours, shopping, eating, and night life. Every night a event to get people together which I really enjoyed since I am a shy person at first. Events where extremely organized laid back and a lot of fun. Highly recommend this place definitely best place to stay in Edinburgh.
Awesome hostel! Prime location on Edinburgh with comfortable and spacious rooms. Each bed had an outlet and a light. The beds were spread out so I did not feel very cramped like I have in other hostels. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the city. I highly recommend!
The hostel is clean and spacious, facilities are good. Most staff are polite and quite friendly. They provide an affordable breakfast as well. But one guy at the reception was not so polite, he sounded rude, more like a boss than a host.
Good location, excessive prices, for a miniature room good amenities, usually muuuuuy noisy at night, and very few bathrooms per floor.
Perfect location, all over the center. The atmosphere of very good vibes.
Lovely hostel. Made the experience of staying in Edinburgh even better I think. I was a bit leery of being in a room without privacy curtains, but the dorm stayed dark and all the guests were pretty respectable (at least on my dorm). The showers were lovely, as were the kitchen and living spaces. The only thing that sucked was the Wi-Fi, but with that many people accessing it, it was understandable. Besides, relaxing in the posh lounge where there was a better Wi-Fi signal wasn't the worst thing. Thanks for having me!
Location is great. 5 stars. The hostel is vintage, well designed. 5 stars. Our mixed room is not clean, smells bad. 2 stars. Reception desk is helpful, but one staff named Scarlett is unprofessional and races. 0 star. Last, don't remove me purposely on hostel world to avoid my reviews.
It is great, besides that all the managers of the hostel transmit very good vibes. Repeat in case you return to Edinburgh.
The site is wonderful to be a hostel. The hostel is located next to the castle. I, take a room of 10 bunks and it was very good (no problems sleeping). Breakfast was cost 1.50 pounds and this super good (toast, fruit and cereals). I recommend it!
It is very clean and Perfect!
Amazing hostel. Loved staying here. A lot of fun in the common areas, full of very friendly people, there was a pool table, big kitchen, sofas, all sorts. The theme was pretty quaint too, reminded me of the film "your highness", castles painted everywhere, suits of armour, shields, each room had a different theme with the beds named after an item from that theme. Super cool all around. Would definitely go back.
Honestly, best hostel I have ever been to. Clean, well kept bathrooms. Large, homey rooms. Friendly staff and great activities all week long. Clean and comfortable beds and sheets. A home away from home. I came here six years ago and returned again this year because there is really no other place to stay in Edinburgh.
This place is the number one hostel for a reason. It's warm, inviting, and a safe place for travlers to hang up their boots and rest. My husband worked here for two years while living in Edinburgh and pretty much talks about it non-stop. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
Good staff, amazing facilities, tasty and cheap breakfast. The only improvement I could make is bigger lockers in the dorm rooms. This place is a wonderful value and perfectly situated in the city.
The staff have all been fantastic, from the reception through to the cleaners. The room is big, secure and clean. The beds are comfy. Location wise it is ideally situated between pretty much all the main sights Edinburgh has to offer.
A very well organized real hostel, that gives you soscial opportunity and also me time. It is perfect for castle holics because there is so much to see inside! Nice breakfest that includes fresh fruit!
Excellent place and close to everything.
Terrific hostel. Worth the cost! This is one of the most frequented and genuine hostels I have ever been to. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area, and you can actually get a good discount for staying there at most restaurants and most stores! The rooms are clean and well maintained, as well as the restrooms. Great kitchen with plenty of burners and equipment to work with. Definitely recommended!
Great staff, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, instant hot shower.
Nice boys and stunning location. Leaving the Castle Rock and ascending the staircase you are immediately in front of the Castle!
I stay here Two nights. Clean place with such a great staff that will make your life so easy. Always happy and the silence in the rooms are amazing. I will go back.
By a very long shot the best hostel I have ever been to. They have TONS of kitchen space, they do an excellent job of informing their guests of events in the surrounding area, they have movie nights every night, clean and well kept rooms, an internet lounge, a lunch room with an upstairs lounge, a jam session room, a reading lounge, all the things! I was totally blown away by every inch of the hostel. It'a right next to the castle, a pivotal monument in Scotland's history, and it's not far from anything as far as the city goes. It's even just off the Royal Mile road. I have zero complaints.
Good hostel, location was great.
Fantastic atmosphere and design interior are in this hostel, young people are enthusiastic about it. The staff is helpful. The place is clean, the staff is working on it a lot. Easy to love this place, but I could not. The entire hostel could use a renovation. The upper beds no protection to prevent it from falling on the sleeping person. The kitchen and the shower is also a serious bearing the modernization.
GREAT hostel in the heart of Edinburgh. Lockers provided. Pro's -Reasonably priced -Security mindful -Free use of kitchen -Fun atmosphere -Comfortable rooms -Excellent location Con's -Getting to and from the rail station is a bit difficult.
Best hostel and great atmosphere.
Great place and excelent staff. One of the best hostel I ever stayed. Will definitely stay there again, once I return back to Edinburgh.
The coolest place I have ever stayed at! It is a very large place with over 100 rooms, each having multiple beds. Not just each room, but each bed has a name. E. G. Room is called Valentino's room. Decor is very interesting, so are the people we meet here. Breakfast was decent.
Great hostel in the very heart of Edinburgh oldtown. You can see the castle from street-side windows and get there in two minutes by foot. Staff was very friendly, rooms and showers were clean. The various rooms have different themes, which translate to parts of the interior design. I'll come back next time I'm in town.
The stay with castel rock was very good! The staff were all fantastic! Helpful and friendly! We stayed in a room of 16 people and it was extreamly fun! The rooms and all facilities were cleaned daily and we were very impressed by the level of clenlieness. The location is great. Easy to get anywhere and close to alot of the main attractions. We were in walking distance to everything. Also the view of the Edinburgh castle is incredible.
Literally perfect for a cheap stay. Brilliant for couples as your room is just a bed and a sink then you can go into other rooms to socialise. We hardly spent anytime in our room other than sleeping. Absolutely gorgeous would love to go back.
Very good location, comfortable rooms and the staff is very friendly.
Very quiet, clean hostel. The rooms are pretty big, with a lot of space for luggages and free lockers with keys available, so that is not a problem to store valuables when not in the room. The common area is big and nice, with free tea, instant coffee and milk, plenty of couches and even a billiard pool. Another room with couches, a decent selection of movies and projection screen is available. The kitchen is pretty big, with multiple cooking points. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but the number of showers available is not very big, compared to the total number of beds, so it's possible to find a queue there. The main characteristic about this place is the amazing location, very close to the Castle and the Royal Mile.
The location can't be beat! Our room was simple but very clean. The view from the rooftop window was stunning. I was impressed that every bed had two outlets. We also each had a reading light — ours did not not work. The kitchen and dining areas were clean and well stocked. Breakfast of £1.50 was simple but filling.
Most of the beds are truly uncomfortable. Not a real mattress, but a thick foam. I ended up with heavy neckpain due to how uncomfortable "MY THICK FOAM OVER A LARGE PIECE OF PLYWOOD" was. Aside from that and how expensive it can become. It is a friendly place and well-located.
This hostel is well located and very cosy, the staff was always nice and helpful. Besides the rooms and the bathrooms are very clean, something not so assured nowadys. There's also a nice lounge room where you can have free tea, coffee and chocolate and where you can read a book or play pool. It's really a nice hostel, and it's located just in front of the castle of Edinburgh!
One of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in. It's situated directly in the shadow of the Edinburgh castle, with a convenient set of stairs up to the castle entrance. The rooms are extremely spacious, even in a 14 bed room. You also get a small locker with lock and key provided, which was a nice touch.
I was traveling alone just for a three night mini break on a budget, I stayed in a 12 bed dorm at £13 a night extremely good value as the location is excellent right in the heart of the city with great views. The room was immaculately clean, beds where hard but not a issue for me. A sink in the room would have helped but the showers were clean. One of the better Hostels I have ever stayed in. The young man who checked me in and out was extremely helpful and polite, not always the case in Hostels run by back packers! Some history of the amazing building would have been nice but I forgot to ask, all in all 10 out of 10. Great kitchen and public areas too.
One of the most amazing hostels I've stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed :)
Castle Rock Hostel is one of the most awesome hostels I have ever stayed in, if not the most awesome. It's an old stone building that seems, on the outside, to be part of a large cathedral. Inside, it has warrens and warrens of rooms, each with crazy, wonderful names like 'Avengers' 'Heroes' 'Romeo and Juliet, ' 'Harry Potters, ' etc. Each dormitory or room has a name. Each bed/bunk also has a name. So it's fun right from the beginning. It spans five floors, I think. Two below street level (it's built on a hill so the lower two floors have windows and doors to the back which is lower than the front), one on ground level, and two above. There are no lifts. The stairs, however, wind around the place, and there's more than one set. It's simply fun exploring. Suits of armour and scattered throughout. There are three different living rooms. The one I am currently typing in has a grand piano, some Louis XIV Baroque gold chairs, two comfortable leather couches, a fire place, chandelier, bookcase with books, a lovely large table to work on, and a fish tank with fish. The room next door is a music room for sing alongs, and then there's a smaller room for small groups, and a larger, quite massive room with tables where people can sit and talk, work on laptops, etc. The entire hostel is wired for Wi-Fi so no matter where you are, you are online — free. Staff is helpful and busy. But the place is massive, so that's understandable.
This is the loveliest and most beautiful hostel i, ve ever been to. Very friendly staff clean rooms and bathrooms and an absolutly adorable interieur it, s like living in an art galery.
I'd definitely recommend this hostel. The rooms were nice and clean, as were the bathrooms. I didn't have a chance to explore the common areas, but I expect the decor is as cool and quirky as the parts of the hostel that I did see. I shared a private room with my two brothers, which was called "Scottish Drinks" (beds named whisky, tennents and irn bru, which was a fun touch), and had the most spectacular views of the castle-like George Heriot's School, especially when it was lit up at night. The location is also perfect for exploring the city.
The quality of hostels can be extremely variable. You don't have to worry about this one though — it's great: good location, clean, and friendly staff. Love the quirky decor, too.
It's a good place for state. And so near castle. If next time come here, l also choice this.
Quite simply, this is the greatest hostel in all the world and everyone should stay here when they go to Edinburgh. I was only meant to stay two weeks and ended up staying two years! Not a joke. Miss you already Edinburgh.
Best hostel in the UK I have stayed in. Great location, friendly staff, value for money and amazing common lounges and kitchen.
Excellent hostel in an excellent location! Cool medival theme and suits of armor to see :) Good deal on the rooms as well. Common room for lounging around is very impressive. Breakfast is a little weak, but better than nothing.
Who has a bed need, are not in contact with friendly strangers afraid to clean toilets, and everything in the middle of the city, is in good hands here.
