Great place food fantastic and very friendly staff and the bed so comfortable didn't want to get out of it.

Best one! Love it good stuff lovely food!

Thought the service was good and the food awesome but I can eat anything kidding great day there with nephew+fam Michael Martin.

Always stay when come to visit family and never have any issues other than parking. That is the only negative thing I can say about this place but other than that, fully recommend it.

Great little area and for a motorway hotel you wouldn’t even think you were close to one.

The team are polite and friendly. The location is great for the motorway network. With a Premier Inn you know what you are getting (no frills but fit for purpose). Wi-Fi worked.

No extra coffees milk and sugar. Stood and waited for assistance soo can get bck into the building not good.

We stayed here last weekend 2 adults and 2 young children in a family room. Hotel In a great location but really unhappy with the cleanliness of the room. We complained to hotel staff on several occasions with our issues one of which was our 3 of us waking up to finding insect bits on our body. I’ve have sent an email and filled in appropriate forms but as of yet had no reply.
We ate at the pub next door for evening meal. The service very poor and I found 2 hairs in my meal.
Very disappointed.

This Premier Inn is just off the A1 in East Lothian and so some way out of Edinburgh and Musselburgh. I was using it for a work trip, needing to get into Prestonpans for a couple of days, so it was ideal, but check the location suits you before you book. I like Premier Inn a lot for business trips and this one was well up to standard. They are quiet, with great beds, invariably good staff and decent food, including their great all you can eat breakfast. This is available from 6.30, so I can get an early start.

Bad night sleep guaranteed… Worst room, bed very small, room designed for people with disability even though we asked for a standard double room. Could not sleep at all and will never ever book this hotel again. We stayed in premier inn hotels in England however the standard here was much lower in every way. The worst ever! Very very disappointed on how they deceived us into booking a Standard room only to tell us when we arrived after a long 10 hour trip that the only room available wa a room with The worst small and low bed I have ever seen in my life. Does not deserve one start.

A lovely budget stay — the showers are amazing! Such a quaint little hotel with a nice breakfast!

Good sized rooms, comfortable bed, very quiet. Good base for a golfing trip.

My goodness what wonderful staff here. We went to Edinburgh for 4 nights to celebrate my parents 33rd wedding anniversary. We went out for the day and when we got back there was a card and a box of chocolates from the staff at the hotel to them. What a lovely touch. The rooms were good too. Great value.

A bit out of the way but quiet and away from the noise of Edinburgh, our room was I'm spottlessly clean but as usual premier are very mean with the coffee supplied in your room even travel Lodge gives you more.

Have stayed twice and find the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Rooms clean and we'll presented. Would go again.

Fantastic place, stayed loads of times and always a pleasure and staff are always very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend to anybody and great food at the restaurant both evening meal and breakfast was excellent on every visit.

Great value and in a great location. The restaurant in the hotel is a Brewers Fayre and is excellent value for money too. Staff in both the hotel and the restaurant are very polite and helpful. Recommended for a short break or a longer stay.

Nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. All very nicely refurbished. Heating thermostat kept making me jump when it clicked on and off though.

We have been going here for years and the staff are so cheerie and helpful from the front desk staff to the cleaners.

Stayed at a lot. Of premier. Inns for work and this was the worst one so far shut the restraunt for 2 nights they told the hotel staff who failed. To mention to guests was given a disabled room bed. Was uncomfortable and too far from newhere to be useful.

Apart from every comfort you could ask for the staff were great, helpful, service went above expectations for a larger place like this. Would go back to say hi even if I didnt need accommodation. Excellent. Mary Price.

Had a great stay 2 nights rooms were lovely and the hotel staff so helpful. The meal on the first night we couldn't fault but the second night was appalling, it was cold we waited a long time for it and the poor young waitress was left to deal with this. She was very apologetic and we stressed it wasn't her fault but there was no senior member of staff to be seen. After our meal one of the male staff expressed the bar was closing at 11 pm which wasn't a problem for us but it was the manner it was delivered (staff training needs to be addressed on customer service) we did not let this put us off and we will return to this hotel but may not eat in the restaurant.

Checking in was easy, staff didn't seem to chatty however. Room was reasonably clean, probably could do with a better clean. Bed was comfy, which is important. Attached restaurant is needing a paint job and carpet. Service is slow, 25 minutes for starter and an hour for main course. Just needs some tlc.

Stayed here overnight as we was working in the area the next day. There was some sort of clicking in my room, like a light switch being turned off and on? Kept waking me up throughout the night. The staff was friendly enough and having a Brewers Fayre pub next door was a bonus as its reasonably priced food.

Lovely location and just what you expect from premier inn, a odd nights sleep. Staff are very friendly.

Our favourite local restaurant, always good food, reasonable prices and great service. Lots of areas to sit so it always feels cosy. All you can eat buffets, different every night are great for families or group nights out, everyone gets what they like.

Went for a long weekend in Edinburgh. Nice cheap hotel near the city, reasonable distance (30 minutes) from the centre if you are happy to drive in. Room was a little bare, service was excellent, food was brilliant. All in all not a bad little hotel.

Good place to feed the family early for a reasonable fee. But just don't expect anything exceptional from the kitchen. Cookie-cutter menu standardised across the whole chain. Kids love it though and that goes a long way to making it a regular haunt for us.

Room was clean and good value. Slight musty odor as you enter hotel.
