We stayed for valentine's eve as soon as we checked in we got upgraded for free which was so kind. The hosts are lovely people and do a great job and a great breakfast. It's such a great location and after we had eaten out we came back and drank in the bar with other guests and talking to the owners. 1.00am came round to quick! we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for my 40th birthday in October, was a lovely place to be staff was so friendly food was amazing, and the home bar was a great atmosphere, would call again soon.

It's a lovely bnb breakfast is a wide choice staff are so warm and friendly sat with us at evening in the bar making conversation really nice atmosphere great bnb will be coming back.

Comfortable rooms. Very clean. Friendly host. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Good Friday 19/4/19 back for our 2nd stay at the Clovelly. Beautiful little hotel, lovely rooms, comfortable, well decorated and very clean. Nic and Eddie and their staff are so welcoming and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Food is excellent too. Thankyou the Clovelly for a lovely weekend, see you again soon!

My fiance and I stayed here yesterday (11/10/18) and we were very happy with the room, food, Decor and the owners, would highly recommend anybody to stay here and we will be back.

Stayed here last week for 3 nights. Absolutely fantastic place! The staff were all friendly, attentive and professional. I had a small room on the top floor but it was beautiful — clean and well set out — so there was plenty of room for both me and my husband. There was a well equipped en-suite bathroom that was spotlessly clean. A well stocked hospitality tray in the room as well. The breakfast was excellent with choices of cereals, fruit, yogurts and of course, the ‘full english’! Evening meals are available at an additional cost; they have to be ordered by 5pm as your meal is cooked ‘to order’. We had one on the first evening and the meal was so good, we ended up eating there every evening! There is also a small bar with comfy seating and a television. You also have free use of the books and DVDs that can be found in reception. Overall, The Clovelly was an excellent place to stay!

Had a relaxed, friendly, welcoming 2 day break. Spotlessly clean. Food beautifully cooked. Evening meal option which we took up. Just about 150 yards from seafront.

From the first time we stayed there, it was so nice and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We went bed and breakfast but as it was getting on we asked for meal in hotel so long as you book it before 5pm think it is but check on that, but never eat anywhere else as 2 first rate Chefs in Ed and Danny who always do their best to please. Nicky so bubbly inter acts with every body remembers lots of stuff to help you have a nice stay. You get to know all different people from all over the place Austrailian, German, Swedish and last of all Danish all easy to get to know. First time we went we met a couple who used to live in our small village. I use wheelchair for going any distance but have to walk up stairs no lift but I still need to use my legs short distance. Promenade is flat and long so great to get about and around shops for retail therapy lovey clean hotel and town. Hence why so many people go and visit the town so if you do go give the Clovelly Hotel a try.

Wonderful stay with Nic and Eddie who made our stay very warm and welcoming. Great food and lovely clean room overlooking the sea front. Will certainly return and recommend.

This is where we stayed in Llandudno its a lovely place to stay friendly and welcoming people who run the Hotel I will defanetly go back again I went there after I got Married the same day and they let me come even tho it was late when we arrived thats how nice they are.

Just back from nights stay here and can recommend it, if youre from stoke take oatcakes for a treat on your breakfast.

We stayed for three nights at the weekend and what a pleasure, certain things I want are a comfy bed, clean room (the room was spotless), a good breakfast, this was beautiful piping hot and fantastically presented, and friendly staff (they were so so pleasant) x I would highly recommend this place its a real diamond x.

Great hotel, family run in a good location with a bar and amazing food. Broke all of my negative preconceptions about a hotel on the prom in a town like this.

This is a lovely little hotel, the staff are fantastic, they love children and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic especially when you consider the room price. I really can't say enough about it… an absolutely fantastic place to stay, I can guarantee that you will leave thinking that it was money well spent.

Fantastic hotel. Right on the front with quick access to the pier and the arcades etc. Staff were friendly and the hotel itself was brilliant. Rooms had tv's with built in freeview and DVD player. A good thing was that they had a small DVD library free to guests which did well for out two little ones. Room was nice and clean with on suite and bunk beds. Overall a very comfortable stay.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful inside and out, great furnishings. The most welcoming people I've met; Nic greeted us and was incredibly warm, welcoming and beyond helpful. Our room was on the top floor so was smaller but I knew that when I booked it. Incredibly clean throughout the room, bathroom, all 4 floors, the bar and the restaurant. No even a speck of dust. The breakfast was delicious; cereals, full English, fruits, yogurt, juices, tea/coffee. The bar downstairs is great to have a couple of drinks before going out or whilst watching TV. We went fishing for the day and even let us put​ the fish in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble. They were great with kids. Parking could be an issue, however there are 3 spaces in the little car park out back or on street parking. They have a sign you can have for a £1 (an £5 refundable deposit) to put in your car for your whole stay. We got lucky and parked bang outside the front door. The location is phenomenal, Orme is straight in front of you, the sea is 100 metres away. I would more than happily stay here again and recommend you give it ago as well!

We have a good time it's a good value for money guest house. Room it a good size with a good bed and staff are friendly.

Was very disappointed with this Hotel When we arrived there was no Hello how was your Journey just put ur credit card n slot 1st then we will show you your room.! There was no lounge to sit n it was not what brochure said! Very disappointing!?

Me and my fiance had a lovely stay here for New Years Eve, Eve as our little Christmas treat for each other. The room was right at the top (no lift but I need the exercise anyway lol! ) and was absolutely perfect. We had a small double room which was more than big enough for the two of us and was spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely tea/coffee/hot choc etc in the room too. The owners were lovely and suggested we eat at the La Taverna when we asked about italian food — great suggestion as this was a five ☆ place too :-). Lovely owners who obviously work very hard and we hope they enjoy their holidays soon. Thank you for a lovely stay and of course the top breakfast too :-D looking forward to staying again x x x.

We had lovely stay at the Cloverly this weekend the owners an staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are get the breakfast was great the location great thoroughly enjoyed it will be going back for another weekend soon.

I have no idea where the other people that gave this place 5 stars stayed, but it wasn't here. We booked this place over the internet for 7 nights. Do not believe everything you read and see on the Internet. We stayed one night and left the next morning after paying for 2 nights. The carpet was worn out, the toilet didn't want to flush, the floor sqeeked when you walked around. Asked for a room with a queen bed, got a room with twin beds. The only reason I give it one star is because the breakfast was decent. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

What a Fantastic Hotel… The room was spotless and very comfortable… The staff very friendly and helpful, but the food was different class. The breakfast was by far the best we've ever had in a hotel and evening meals were top class. What a chef! The Clovelly's that good, we've already booked in again for next year…

Fantastic. Just returned from 4 day stay at The Clovelly. What a lovely Hotel. Every area of the hotel was spotless. The owners are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is 1st class and piping hot. We also had our evening meal and they were all absolutely lovely, fresh and again piping hot. The owner/chef certainly knows his cooking and his presentation is excellent. The Hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the pier. Our room (No 1) was great and the view was lovely. We met some lovely people there. We have already booked for next year. Would definitely recommend. Regards Billy and Sandra.

Very friendly welcome. As we arrived very late at night The whole place was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely time and would not hesitate in returning or recommending the hotel to others. The owners are very helpfull No negative comments from us.

Fantastic room 4 poster bed. Staff so helpful and reccommended good places to eat. The hotel was very accommodating with special diets, mine is dairy and gluten free. We would certainly return as we were made so welcome. Great hospitality! Thankyou.
