Just back from our first visit to Llandudno and the excellent, family rum Merrion hotel. We were a party of 22 on a supported holiday for people living with dementia with their carers, family and friends. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Brilliant position on the seafront, easy access for wheelchairs, spacious lounge areas and good size bedrooms. We were lucky enough to have a sea view The staff were so friendly and understanding, nothing was too much trouble, their kindness made our stay so much easier. I have to give the food 5 stars, it was amazing throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast buffet, all piping hot, fantastic menu choices for the evening, all freshly cooked. It was fascinating to be able to see the chefs at work and how efficiently they produced our orders. I think part of the attraction of the Merrion was they made us feel like part of their family too. Dementia is a tough call, our group was made to feel very special. We had a ball, thank you.

Had a brilliant time revisiting the Merrion. Love the owners Ken and his fabulous sons. The staff Olivia and Beth and all the great staff in the restaurant. To many names to mention. Keep doing those wheelies down the Prom Ken. 😂😂 see you all again soon. Much love Wendy and Tony ❤️

Stayed here with my sister and parents for 3 nights, lovely welcome,
attentive staff, spacious rooms and fantastic food. Parking available in gated car park and to the side of hotel.
An added feature this year is the outside space and seating area covered by a canopy, it just gives you an opportunity to enjoy outside eating and drinks with lovely views of the Orme and sea.
Specially baked croissants for breakfast on request! Or a superb Welsh breakfast, all locally sourced foods. Home baked bread rolls and delicious desserts at evening meal all give it that 5 star feeling.
Great housekeeping service, sanitisers available and Covid regs adhered to. See you very soon xx.

Back after a wonderful weekend stay along with my husband, sister and brother in law. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely first class… and so much of it! Wonderful varied menu to suit all tastes. Would recommend this place to anyone… thank you from room 203 (under Davies, ) Diolch yn fawr Mr. And Mrs. Wakefield.

Stayed August 17th for 5 nights brilliant staff and great food in fantastic position this was our 4th visit and it will not be our last home from home thanks for a great break under different circumstances mr andmrs hughesxx.

I love the Merrion it’s got the ideal home away from home feel. You feel welcomed and you want for nothing. Hope to be there again in sunnier times x.

They were the light in our darkness when our own hotel closed without any communication (coronavirus! ) beautiful hotel and staff are second to none.

What a charming hotel, Arrived with a warm and friendly welcome, made to feel completely at ease, the hotel is absolutely spotless and the rooms are cosy and well decorated. Location is perfect with great parking facilities. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. The staff are very welcoming and nothing was a problem the entertainment is very good had a really good time and definitely go back to this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at The Merrion Hotel last weekend. Three generations all happy! The staff are all amazing; friendly, professional, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was fabulous. The hotel is really clean and when something isn’t quite right for you and you mention it it is quickly fixed. We will be coming again. Thank you to all your staff xxx.

The food at the merrion is amazing. The rooms are clean and tidy and good customer service.

Rooms excellent comfy clean and tidy excellent facilities for motorcycles with secure parking, also the safe all round are excellent especially the night staff that was always there if need to chat or for coffee which I paid for. But all in all excellent I'd give the Merrion hotel 10 out of 10 thanks again for having us.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, On our Mini-Moonbooked as a wedding present. We was lucky to be able to stay in a kingsize room, When we walked in there was a lovely bottle of cave on ice and a box of Thornton's chocolates. The breakfast was lovely and alot of choice, the staff were very helpful and lovely. The evening meals were amazing, there was lots to choose from, It was difficult to choose with there being so many lovely options. The entertainment was really good too. We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Great service, told us about local attractions but lumby beds what I'm not a fan of.

Is it just me or is everyone this nice. Got here early, no problem the room was ready. Got into the car park (mind the bins). Useful info from reception on tonight's local event.

Excellent stay rooms are lovely. Breakfast is amazing would definatly visit again. Only downside is parking is limited and off site.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The seaview room was spotless, nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. Would recommend and definitely book again.

The staff are super friendly nothing was too much trouble. Even kept our desert till after our show was done! The menu was well set out with many choices and my hubby raved about the Beef Bourguignon! The vegetarian option was only 1 choice in the main menu and wasn't great. A little bland and uninspiring. The breakfast buffet was varied and hit The morning-breakfast spot! The rooms are clean and spacious and the shower pressure fantastic! There's entertainmemt every night and we had the pleasure of listening to the last few tunes by the fabulous Rafael! We would highly recommend The Merrion!

Fourth year here and still as welcoming. The Merrion is full of Victorian charm. Comfy beds in lovely clean rooms. Food is excellent and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next year but hoping we may be able to sneak a little break in ahead of that.

A recommended place to stay. My elderly relatives stay here twice a year. They are always impressed by the food and look forward to the evening entertainment. The rooms are good sized and the beds modern and very comfortable. I have eaten at the hotel when collecting them and the food I tried was very good. The Hotel is close to the high street and almost opposite the Pier so well situated for those who enjoy a walk before and after meals.

Staying at The Merrion Hotel, whilst attending a conference. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Fab location for everything Llandudno has to offer. I'm in a single room and it's not small, some places would call this a double room! The staff have been lovely and really helpful and the breakfast is great. I'm typing this while relaxing in my room. Will definitely recommend this to anyone coming here, and will hopefully come back in the future. Well done to all at The Merrion Hotel, keep doing what your doing.

My mum and I are just back from a 3 night break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 115 with its fabulous view over the bay. The refurbishments are excellent with a first class comfortable super king size bed. The food was so tasty each evening, especially the fish.
Thank you to all staff who were so friendly, polite and helpful and made our visit even more of a treat. The three night deal was amazing value for money!
