Beautiful View on the mountain and the country house itself is amazing. Very Picturesque indeed. Dinner was a bit too dear but Breakfast was wonderful with a diverse range of hot meal to try. I will recommend getting the room with the view — The Conwy it is AWE-some.

Where do we start? thank you for allowing us to have our special day with you at Plas Maenan. After a few postponements we finally got to share our wedding day with our nearest and dearest at this beautiful venue! Stunning views, spectacular venue inside and out. Thank you for everything, spending our day with the views of the valley and the lovely house itself. We can’t wait to hold a celebration with you again in the Autumn. To all staff at Plas Maenan thank you. Especially Jane, Amanda and Fiona. We couldn’t have done this without you. We will be back soon 💕🌸

My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary here today with an afternoon tea, which was absolutely delicious, lovely fresh sandwiches and cakes. Such a perfect setting. Jane has done a fantastic job updating plas maenan while still keeping the country house feel. It was lovely chatting with her today.
We will definitely be returning for lunch soon.

Had afternoon tea here today as a birthday Treat for my Nana’s 80th. Absolutely amazing service, stunning views and such a a lovely atmosphere. They made sure it was special and even gave my nana a beautiful bunch of flowers! Would highly recommend to others xx.

I cant recommend this place enough, firstly the service is great, Emilee looked after us so well, and Jason Hughes, Head Chef made us feel really welcome. As a veggie, I always am delighted when a Chef provides really interesting food. My food was fabulous, and great roasties as promised. I will certainly be back in the near future. It's great to have this on our Llanrwst doorstep.

Visited Plas Maenan today for lunch. We had a wonderful experience from the time we arrived until we left. Was lovely to meet Jane and Amanda who were both very generous with their time. We ate off the Tir Mor menu and the food was fabulous. We would highly recommend the scallops, yum! We will certainly be back again to sample the wonderful hospitality and more of what Plas Maenan has to offer.

What an absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. Myself and my friend have honestly never felt so welcomed by a hotel as much as I was here. Amanda was fantastic, felt like I had known her all my life. So helpful and generally a very cheery person :) I was actually blown away by the hotel when I arrived. The photos do not do it justice at all, and the interior was stunning. The bar selection is fantastic, I only sampled the gin, and there was a lot to choose from. I actually stayed in the annex which is at the back of the hotel, it is classed as one of the ‘budget rooms’. Do not be put off by this. The only thing budget about this room was the price. It was absolutely lovely, with everything you could possibly need. I had breakfast here too, which was all cooked fresh, and as well as a cooked breakfast. You could help yourself to cereal, fruits, cold meats and a selection of juices. Also tea and coffee if you wanted this. When I was leaving Ananda allowed us to look at the suites in the hotel and have a look round, The suites are absolutely stunning, once you were in there you wouldn’t want to leave. I honestly cannot wait to return, and look forward to all the renovations you have planned.

I loved everything about it. From the welcoming email the day before I my visit to the moment of departure. The owner Jayne was warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and I can recommend the lamb. The room I stayed in was the Conwy suite. It was very spacious and the decor was elegant and so in keeping with the house which has recently been refurbished. The bed was large and so comfortable. There were many luxurious extras provided and nice touches — like flowers laid out on the towels. This place has it all, from the rabbits roaming around the grounds to the bats and deer that are part of its charm. It gave me much needed relaxation. Our evening meal was eaten outside on the terrace as we watched the sun set over the valley. What an amazing place with lovely people. I will definitely be returning for further visits.

Fabulous place, we had a really lovely day beautiful hotel, views were amazing, choir was brilliant, we will definitely book in again thanks to everybody that made it such a lovely day x.

Great location for walks and many activities.
Jane, the owner, was so welcoming from the outset. Never shared a nightcap, with the owner before-lovely.
The grounds are stunning and our room was lovely and really spacious. … Breakfast is made to order and evening meals are lovely, with children catered for, although the dining room probably lacked a little atmosphere as quite empty.
A few things need addressing, but I'm sure Jane will address these over time, as she has only recently taken over.
Wifi isn't the best, but can be overcome and quite nice to stop the children being on devices and enjoy the great outdoors! Also DVDs and games available to borrow.
Hope to visit again.

Married here in 2014, it’s absolutely stunning inside & out. The views are breathtaking and you get the whole place to yourself. Perfect.

Nice place. I really enjoyed my visit. Great room. Conwy Suite. It's a shame that the restaurant is only open three days a week. Very sad. No lunch and no Evening Dinner. Slack. The owner Mark, even complained about my review. Very Bad. Believe me. I'm checking out early. Good Bye. Poor old Mark. Please get a job that you can cope with.

11 years ago today my beautiful wife and I were married here, at this very special place. Late/light lunch… fine food and drink, polite, attentive service. Doesn't really get any better.! Love you Suzanne. ❤️❤️xxx.

New owner/management, so looking forward giving this place a try when they are fully up and running.

The food was excellent. They have good beer on tap and a good spirits selection. The rooms are comfortable if a little dated although the new owners are in the process of updating the hotel.

Loved it beautiful place, wonderful people will deffo stay again was lucky enough to have place to our selves too.

The hotel itself was lovely. I came to the hotel for an afternoon tea for my 30th birthday which was nice but was left a little disappointed as it did not meet my expectations. The afternoon tea came with sandwiches but the bread was a bit dry. The scones did not come with clotted cream but had butter which made the scones crumble. What would have been nice if it had one sponge cake​. Apart from that it was good.

The house is a short way up a drive from the A470 Llanrwst Road, the elevation taking up and away from the road and road noises. There is a good sized car park to the side of the hotel with the area in front reserved for setting down and picking up so leaving the view unobstructed. This was just a function held in the Garden Room with light refreshments provided such as sandwiches and cakes. The food consisted of sandwiches and cakes which were fresh and tasty. There is also a conservatory with a view across the beautiful (and very wet) Conwy valley and not far from Bodnant Gardens. The place has free Wi-Fi with reasonable reception throughout the main public areas.

My Son & Wife had their wedding here at Plas Maenan on Saturday 4th March, they had the venue all day & evening until the next morning 5th March. Have to say the place was amazing, stunning & beautiful. All staff were fantastic & nothing was too much for them in making my son & now wife's day just perfect. Thank you to you all. Beautiful & breath taking views dispite the weather being a little dull. The food and service was excellent and our overnight stay completed everything. The place is so homely & very clean. I for sure would recommend Plas Maenan to anyone, beautiful place & amazing staff thank you to all involved.

We had such a lovely meal, everything was perfect. The service we received from our French waiter was fantastic. He went out of his way to accommodate us, above and beyond. It was a special meal with my parents and we were all made to feel very special. Will be going back again very soon. I can highly recommend Plas Meanan.
