Not sure why I should write this review. Being a hidden gem, maybe one should keep quiet about possibly the best B and B in North Wales. The location, the food, the owners, the rooms, the peace, need I say more.
We had a wonderful stay at Coed Mawr Hall, which is a beautiful period property in the tiny village of Rowen. Andrew gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our room which was clean, spacious and very very nice. The bathroom was huge and the roll top bath fantastic. Breakfast was also great and the honesty bar a nice touch. I couldn't really find any faults! Would love to come again.

What a gem, modern yet classic… Such welcoming hosts, this B&B has all the small touches that 'make' a stay. Fabulous breakfast with local produce (hens on site) and doorstop toast! Amazing quality rooms with comfy beds and outstanding views, honesty bar, peace and quiet… you can hardly hear a pin drop! Greeted with a hot drink and warm welsh cakes. Close to the bustle of Conwy for the bustle for restaurants (or just fish and chips ;-D). Loved it… have paid so much more at big chain hotels for sooo much less! Wish I'd booked longer.
