A lovely tastefully decorated guest house with very clean rooms with en-suite, breakfast very good, would recommend and would certainly come back.

We arrived much earlier than planned and our host Lynn was very accommodating making sure we were immediately checked in so we could make the most of our stay and offered to help with our luggage. Lynn went over all the room information and made us feel very welcome straight upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy but also cosy and inviting after a long cold day in the mountains, a great place to relax after a challenging day. Breakfast was fantastic, just what you need before a long hike in the hills. Lynn made sure we had plenty to eat and drink during breakfast which made sure we were always ready for the day ahead, she took an interest in our plans during our stay and advised on things to do in the local area. Lynn is a brilliant host and great at what she does. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend staying here. We and look forward to visiting again soon!

Fantastic place. Lovely clean rooms and a great breakfast. The owner was very helpful nothing to much and knowledgeable about the area helping us to make the most of our stay. We will definatley be back.

A solid thee. Pleasant and standard bed and breakfast. Everything is well kept and clean with a great shower. The place lets its self down with some things than can be easy wins. Breakfast which could have been glorious because the produce comes from a local butcher is over cooked and dry and, although I’m not a veggie, the veggie option is basically the same as the standard fry up without the meat so there's very little on the plate — a veggie sausage would be a good idea. Also the 8-9am set time for breakfast seems super early for a Sunday. Also the Wi-Fi was either on the slow side or it didn't work. Maybe I'm being a bit picky but fix those things (esp. Breakfast) and I think this place could really be great.

Good value for money and just a short stroll to the centre and riverside walks. Very clean with ample English breakfast and very limited Continental one. Parking can be an issue but was well organized and we had no problems. We did get a small ticking off for arriving 15 mins after end of check in time at 7pm so be aware thats its only from 5pm — 7pm. Rooms and ensuite are small but who spends all day inside anyway? We would be out at 9am and return for a quick shower at 6pm before going to dinner. Tea maker and shower gel in rooms.

Myself and my husband just spent a weekend at this wonderful guest house. Lynn and David were warm and welcoming. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. We will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It had a fabulous location overlooking the forest ☺

Just had a 2 night stay in this beautiful guest house, Lynn and Dave are absolutely fantastic hosts, couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious and set you up nicely for the day. Rooms are really comfortable and quiet. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Great place to stay, near to town with clean double bed rooms​. Good breakfast, hosts very welcoming which allows a relaxing stay. Would recommend.

Fabulous little place. Cosy clean and comfortable. Would definetly recommend! Breakfast was yummy, Lynn our host was so helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. She was very informative about places to go and things to see and always made sure you were ok. We will be back one day xxxx.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynn was so welcoming and could not have done more to make our stay more memorable. We came to walk the mountains and the breakfast was truly the way to start the day. The accommodation is spotless, warm and comfortable. Lynn noted it was our wedding anniversary and left us a card and chocolates in the room for our return from the hills. A very pleasant and unexpected surprise. … We have truly enjoyed our stay and will book again. Thank you.

Very nice Easter break. Refreshing that Lynn and Dave are very friendly & knowledgable hosts, nothing too much trouble — they don't just leave you to it and then disappear. Nice room, hotel very clean and comfortable lounge. Breakfasts great to set you up for the day — breakfast room so lovely with table near the window in the sunshine. Very nice calm ambience for a relaxing break away from the mad world.

We stayed at this b&b in August 2014 and had a wonderful break. The Guest House was a perfect location for our trip. The room was cosy and clean and we had a great breakfast every morning. Lynn and David were great hosts, very welcoming and looked after us during our short break. Can't wait to get the chance to visit again.
