Booked for a birthday high tea for a maximum of 10 people, unfortunately there ended up being just 7 of us. The service was absolutely terrible, there was probably another 12 customers having teas/coffees etc… but we made our food choices and that was the last we saw of that particular waitress. There was no offer of drinks, water etc… we eventually tracked a waitress down to request jugs of iced water which didn’t arrive until well after the food arrived. The food wasn’t anything spectacular, no gluten free choice and the gammon steak was so salty it was difficult to eat with no drinks and there was no offer of sauces etc… Can’t fault the poor waitress, who appeared to be dealing with all customers on her own, but knowing there was a party of possibly 10 people coming in, there should have been enough staff to run efficiently. Won’t be rushing back for a high tea again.

Wonderful meal, very good value, couldnt believe te/coffee scones and cakes were included and all fot £10!. Beautiful furnishings and great service, we really enjoyed our wee family get together and will return. Thank you.

I have been to the lounge for lunch and separately for coffee. I have been to the restaurant for dinner on steak night. I can highly recommend the good quality food, friendly environment and great staff. Really good value for money. When our night out (sadly) got cancelled we got a full no quibble refund.

I’ve been here for high tea before & it was great friendly staff great food I could not fault it. Myself & a group of us were here on Thursday for a meal it was very disappointing we waited a good while to get our orders taken we waited for a good while for the main course & deserts drinks order & other orders got mixed up the staff appeared not very friendly & professional at the end someone did speak to the manager & we did eventually get things settled we got an apology & a discounted bill with no charge for the drinks there were other customers complaining too. This is very disappointing the hotel was beautiful thow after the amount of things that went wrong I don’t think I’ll be back such a shame I hope things improve some hotel staff were ok you have a lovely hotel great location but this experience was very poor.

I have never had a worse night’s sleep at a hotel. Room was beyond freezing to the point where my boyfriend and I were uncomfortable trying to sleep. We were shivering all night and were made unaware of the fact that we were given a faulty room, essentially. There was a big gap in the bottom of the window that let in a horrible draft (it was — 0.5 degrees in Aberdeen so you can imagine) and we actually had to try and use whatever we could within our room to help block the draft but it didn’t really work. There was a dingy electric heater left in the room that done absolutely nothing — we left it plugged in for 30 mins to try and heat the room up and the plug was actually burning in the socket so we had to remove it and switch it off. The bathroom tap was also coming off the sink. My boyfriend then tried to have a hot shower, in the morning after being FREEZING all night, and the shower was stone cold. There was no hot water — we had not been made aware that there were any problems with heating or boilers within the hotel. He had to have a cold shower and then come back into a freezing cold room, to get ready for going out into 1 degrees weather outside. I booked this room for my boyfriend’s birthday — I stated this when booking and there was absolutely no acknowledgment for this either, even though I asked if there could be. When I complained to the hotel general manager at checkout, she was polite but did not actually resolve any issues for us.

Everything u need for comfort relaxation cleanliness & as close to the city centre as u can get. Very friendly helpful staff, nothing is a problem, very clean & very comfy beds also. Their breakfasts are out of this world as is their decor, especially the absolutely beautiful wide staircase that never ends!, & must be very popular for High Teas & Afternoon Teas as the dining room, which is absolutely stunning, was packed the whole day yesterday, we will most certainly be back, oh & prices are fantastic x.

Really nice place to eat in restaurant, food good service spot on our waiter was very helpful today, but definitely need a cleaner dust all over window sills blinds and crisps all over carpet shame this let it down x.

Staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. They go out of their way to help with the smallest request this makes you feel you are a much valued customer.
I go back time and time again because of this.

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway shopping, reception area is lovely decorated and was fast check in. the bedroom we were allocated was spacious but had many issues. Had to ask reception 2 hours after arrival for a heater as the bedroom was freezing and been 8 months pregnant I was not going to sleep in those conditions. Reception staff said a heater would be brought upto the room waited over an hour and still no heater. 2 more trips down to reception before they handed me a electric heater that they were using themselves. Very disappointing communication as it was stated twice before that a heater would be brought up, then got told a heater was already taken to the room. the bed was comfortable and the room had a decent sized TV but as there was no switch above the table so I had to boil the kettle on the floor (i did ask reception after checking in for an extension cable)

Went in for a high tea. Didn’t receive toast or a top up of tea/coffee. Ordered 2 chicken Maryland’s but we literally just got chicken and chips despite asking if it came with all the trimmings. Second time visiting. Most disappointed. It was reported to reception but nothing was done about it. Won’t be back again.

One of the hottest uncontrollable temperature rooms I've ever stopped in, lovely hotel but you need to be used to death valley like heat to really enjoy your stay.

Absolutely cannot fault this hotel, staff were lovely and went above and beyond for us in an extremely difficult situation. The rooms are very comfortable and very good value. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Recently had high tea for birthday treat, good food, value and friendly staff.

Really enjoyed my visit — aged but so convenient to the station and unusual! What a treat — totally did not mind the dated decor, uneven floors, and doors everywhere. No doubt it’s haunted as well! Would recommend and return despite the lift being out. Room service was mediocre — but better than average for room service and definitely expedient. Staff were super helpful — so 5* from me.

Hotel was stunning situated in the heart of the town centre and 2 mins from the train/bus station local buses every few mins staff were amazing especially Joe from reception who went above and beyond to help us with check in and took time to give us directions to places and helped us with things to do pat from the bar also was an amazing host helped us feel welcome at was so attentive cannot fault anything atal room was spacious slept amazingly breakfast was amazing too the lovely girl on Sunday morning was also super attentive with us we are back in October for my birthday and will 100% be back to the station Hotel ❤️ xxx missing u already xxx.

Lovely, quiet hotel just across the road from Aberdeen Railway Station. Very comfortable room, with a fantastic bathroom. If only the floorboards wouldn't creak with every step we take!

A beautiful place here in Aberdeen and close to the train station of the train and they close the h'to the supermarkets, mall and city center! It is a very quiet place, here you can find the personal which works in a very polite, nice, friendly, charismatic, with a good mood I recommend you this place to all over the world to come! The best place from Aberdeen here you can find one good staff nice rooms and all the what do you need to one hotel!
