Lovely room and the staff were really helpful and beautiful breakfast.

Worst Bring a Party ever been at. Food was terrible. Vegetable soup was actually tomato soup which resembled a plate of tomato purée, vegetables in main course cold, couple of turkey slices (? ) burnt, plastic still round some, dessert was not as advertised. Too many people packed into hall, tables everywhere making access to bar difficult. Dance floor tiny. All for £40.

Lounge was virtually empty and bar staff not very engaging Disappointing experience.

Fantastic wedding venue staff are really friendly and the wedding coordinator jim is absolutely fantastic if anyone want to have a venue there I can honestly say it is fantastic my wedding went without anything going wrong my guests loved the atmosphere xx.

We had our wedding here on 10/8/19. Truly exceptional throughout. Friendly professional and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble to make our day so special. Food was amazing, the ballroom was stunning, the boardroom was made to be beautiful the ceremony. Jim the events organiser is a true hero and legend. From start to finish he was simply amazing. All round 10/10, 5 stars without a doubt.

I stayed here the night before my wedding and when telling staff I was getting married the manager overheard and upgraded me to the penthouse suite for no extra charge. It truly made my wedding complete being able to get ready in such a beautiful room. And when I came down in my dress the following day all the staff stood up and clapped and gave me such lovely compliments. It was such a beautiful setting that I still have those glass stairs in my profile pic 4yrs later. Thank you again!

First Christmas meal lastnight at their Bring a Party to a Party event for my work’s Christmas night out (Rubislaw Medical Group) and can honestly say it was the BEST Christmas meal I’ve had out was lovely from start to finish! You don’t often have high expectations at these type of events but it was honestly faultless well done Rox! Staff were lovely too very helpful and quick at serving everyone and the DJ was really good and dance floor never empty! Place was decorated very well too!

Clean and comfortable, too bad a towel was lysed with a hole, for a 4 star you demand more attention. The windows can't even open at wasistas, so you're forced to use the air conditioning/ventilation system. Given that we are in the pleasantly windiest areas, this is not acceptable. Satisfactory continental breakfast, scotland very good breakfast.

Modern and nice airconditioned room with nice bathrooms. The location is perfect for a weekend or business trip to Aberdeen. Short walking distance to the bus and railway station at Union Square. Recommended.

The prosecco high tea was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel offered both a gluten free and dairy free option at no extra cost. Very helpful staff, lovely food in a well decorated private area. Would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere was lovely but the reason why i’m giving it a 3 out of 5 is because of the lack of effort in the vegetarian/vegan dishes. It was a set menu which included a decent tomato soup, a mushroom risotto for the main dish and some fruits and sorbet for dessert. My main problem is with the risotto, it was overcooked, very mushy and didnt have much flavour while the non vegetarian/vegan dishes were of much better quality. It just seemed like there wasn’t much effort put in for non meat eaters which shouldn’t be the case considering the price was the same for everyone.

Great price for a nice cosy night. Room spacious and clean no issues at all. Staff lovely and always happy to help. Close to everything and reasonable parking very close.

Attended a show where the staff were friendly and supportive. Organization of food that was provided was not best planned as they gave you food but requested you pay at the bar afterwards. Otherwise a lovely venue.

We stayed the night at the Rox attending an engagement party so were using the function room. In order to make things easy we stayed in the hotel overnight. The room was nice and modern with a TV, hairdryer and a/c. The bathroom was quite big with a spacious walk in shower but no bath. There was no fridge in the room for keeping the snacks we had bought cool unfortunately. The function room was big and looked nice. It was distanced away from the rest of the hotel but was easy to get to. The room was reasonably priced costing £70 however did not include breakfast which would have been a costly £10 per person. We brought our car and were asked to park it in the NCP car park 5 mins walk away. Hotel guests get a discount fee of £11 to park their car there overnight. The service was great. The reception staff helped us with our luggage in from the car and then up to the room. They were friendly and professional. Overall the hotel is modern and nice to stay in. There are a couple of things I'd like to add or change but were happy with our accommodation for the most part.

I’ve had a lovely 2 night stay. Room beautiful, food fab and staff friendly and helpful. Attended the ladies day yesterday which was fabulous. Would def recommend.

Booked 3 nights. First night, the room
Was freezing, turned ceiling heater, sooo loud. Turned it off after 1 hour but it kept making noise all night. Woke me up at 4am. Some Tv channels didn’t work. Was offered another room but same heaters in all rooms. Also the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. So couldn’t sleep in the middle. Staff or guests at next room door chatting at 4.30 am the next night woke me up. Also on the last day was asked did I return the heater I got. … only then was told I should have got said silent heater for my room
As they know the ceiling heaters are too loud. Also I told them I was going to pay in cash but they still kept the rooms rates on my card which take 3-4 days to get back. I was working this weekend so it made my time there very much more unpleasant and tiresome. Very unhappy. This was all mention on check out again, no mention of any kind of reduction, refund and a thinly veiled apology. Avoid!

One of the best afternoon tea I've had, very good value for money and lots of choice I will definetly be back and recommend it to others. Loved the cute cup of soup.

Had our wedding at the Rox hotel 3rd March. The staff was absolutely amazing. They went out there way to help my wife which was staying for 2 nights. They set up the dinning area which was perfect. The food was freshly cooked and all our guests loved there meal. The hotel itself has lovely decor. Prices are fair. Rooms were of a high standard. I would recommend this hotel 100% to any one. Great setting brilliant staff good food.

Impossible to complain about the Rox. Lovely staff. Great room and bathroom. Tasty breakfast. Was there only coldest snowyest weekend for many years. Was wonderfully warm.

Lovely hotel in a slightly weird location. Market Street doesn't look like it holds a 4* place. Watch for stairs aplenty to get to reception. There is a lift but call ahead to be told where it is, it's not beside the main entrance. Inside is nicely decorated. Staff were all absolutely lovely — friendly and helpful. My room was small but nicely appointed. Comfy bed. Only gripe was the breakfast. Stuff on the buffet was average at best. Didn't order anything cooked so maybe that was better.

Had a meeting about booking a wedding the event manager is super helpful.

Very clean, staff's are very friendly beautiful relaxing area for eating not very far to walk from your car facility car park just around the corner about 2 minutes walk away from hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. You do not have parking but have an agreement with a nearby to have a discount. The only problem is that there are many stairs to get to the front desk and if you carry heavy suitcases it is annoying (we were on the first floor and coming out of the elevator again there were stairs). The room is fine.

Food was good bandut there wasn't a lot on the plate. The function room is great.

Beautiful hotel and staff were very friendly and professional, our room was lovely and large and immaculate. The bar area where we enjoyed a drink was beautiful and very relaxed. Breakfast was buffet style and the choice was excellent, anything from cereal, fruit etc cold meats and smoked salmon, pastries to a full scottish, without all the specials on the menu that could be also ordered, breakfast waiter was very attentive with tea, coffee etc, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again :-)

2nd stay in 7 days, rooms outstanding, better than most 5 stars I've stayed in, I had an executive double, worth the bit extra for separate seating area. Arran aromatic toiletries, fluffy towels, robes, slippers great location, quiet rooms, fabulous air-conditioning I like the cold! Good breakfast, hot buffet, cold selection, pastries etc too, juices, plus omelette, fish etc to order. Would not stay anywhere else in Aberdeen now, the rox rock's!
