Good food and nice staff but a bit pricey.

Was at my son David and daughter in law liannes wedding on Friday and it was perfect, nothing was a problem for alannah, the wedding Co ordinator, she was on top of everything, staff were lovely, food was beautiful and the gardens and surroundings were stunning, well done to everyone, we had an amazing day ❤️

We were there tonight for our 10th wedding anniversary meal as we were married in the Lynnhurst. I have to say the service was perfect no hovering over our table timing of service was perfect. Food was amazing! I can’t recommend the Balmoral chicken enough.

Incredible wedding venue and staff! Hannah and Alana were outstanding when it came to planning the wedding and the day itself. From postponing 3 times, emails back and forward The Lynnhurst couldn't have been more accommodating. Hannah was always a phonecall or email away and helped us plan the most perfect day. Alana was managing our wedding day and helped make it flawless. The bar staff and DJ were excellent and provided such a great service. Every receptionist was so lovely and welcoming on every visit. We had the most perfect day, thank you so much.

I honestly can't thank the staff here enough for making our wedding reception so amazing. The hotel is beautiful, with fantastic gardens for photos. The food was fantastic and they did a great job of catering for some weird dietary requirements. Susan, who ran our wedding was amazing, so helpful, friendly and kept us right all day. The bar staff were all great, but in particular I'd like to give a shout out to Lauren, who was not only fun and friendly, but really knows her stuff. Made me a a few really great cocktails, based off things I knew I liked. Cannot recommend the Lynnhurst highly enough!

From start to finish, our wedding day at the Lynnhurst was just perfect ❤️ Gorgeous venue, beautiful gardens and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Our wedding meal was INCREDIBLE! We have just had a lovely Sunday dinner in the lowland restaurant, staff were efficient and attentive which was great as we had a 2 year old with us! Food arrived quickly and was delicious, the staff were so family friendly and catered to our every need! Thank u we will return!

We had such a lovely experience today. Booked a festive lunch which was very relaxing, food and cocktails lovely and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They were so helpful and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Adam who made our experience extra special! Definitely recommend!

We had our wedding here on Sunday 18th October and although it was ceremony only, it was still a magical day. The staff were extremely helpful & couldn't do enough for us I would 110% recommend that you at least view this stunning hotel if you are wedding planning.

I gifted my husband an overnight stay in the cashmere suite (honeymoon room) for Christmas and it didn’t disappoint! Every member of staff we spoke with was polite and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The room itself is huge yet cosy. The jacuzzi bath is amazing and even more so that I could watch TV at the same time We had dinner and breakfast and both were really tasty with generous portions (couldn’t even finish the meals) Would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

I attended a wedding on Friday 18th October & must admit the customer service was amazing specially Adam — what an asset to your hotel he is. Very polite & attentive, always smiling. The day went smoothly with the help of Sharleen & ceremony, turn around, meal & evening was all done in record timing — it didn’t feel like a long day at all. My only complaint would be the C4 filming next to cocktail bar asking guests to not use hand dryer when at the toilet & to be very quiet — after all there was a wedding on, surely that’s priority?
Anyhow with that aside I had an amazing time & venue was very well done up & looking stunning, would highly recommend. Well Done.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my wedding. Cannot fault the place or staff. Nothing was a bother. My wedding day was perfect all thanks to them. And the pics are amazing in the beautiful building and grounds… Thank you x.

Can’t recommend the Lynnhurst enough, I had my wedding there on 11/07/2019 and the staff were amazing at making me feel relaxed and comfortable. They couldn’t have done anymore if therms tryed. My guest all commented on the quality of the food. Thank you so much for making our day perfect.

My husband and I had our wedding here on the 26th of July and I could not have dreamed of a better venue! Not only is it a beautiful location but all the staff members are so helpful and kind and add a special touch to your day. Would firstly like to give a massive thank you to Sandra and Anna who we met with to plan and organise the detail of our wedding. They were always on hand to answer any queries and help you along the way, always making you feel at ease and enjoying the planning process. I would also like to thank Siobhan and Charlene who were our wedding coordinators, they also made us feel so comfortable, were so helpful and made our day flow nicely. Also to those working behind the bar who were so sweet and even joined in with our final dance! We had an amazing day, thank you to all of the Lynnhurst team❤️

Had our wedding here in Sunday 21.04.19. Hotel is gorgeous and beautiful grounds… staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend for weddings and general stay & food.

We attended a family wedding there and was so impressed with the facilities. The food was first class and the staff were very friendly. My plan is to book a table for dinner as the restaurant has a lovely vibe.

Went to a wedding here, been to weddings that cost 5x the amount of money and got to say that the lynnhurst wedding package was outstanding and was better than most of them.

Having used The Lyndhurst Hotel as my hostelry of choice, whenever I visited my home town of Johnstone these past few years, it was an easy decision to use it again, as a very comfortable place to stay, during the first few days of my permanent return to Johnstone. As ever, the room that I am in, room 21, is spectacular; and, will fail to impress very few people indeed. The beds are comfortable; and, the furniture, baths and showers are luxurious. The food is wholesome, tast…y and freshly prepared, the perfect marriage of traditional and contemporary Scottish fair. The staff throughout are very polite and equally helpful. On this occassion, I have been particularly impressed with Amanda and Kelly on reception; and, Valeria in the bar, who last night made me the best Mint Lemonade I've ever had, despite it being the first time she'd prepared one. While I find the absence of in room information packs slightly unusuaI, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Lyndhurst Hotle to those touring Scotland, those in transit to or from Glasgow Airport and those looking for a venue for a special occassion. Enjoy your stay.

Simply stunning and the grounds are beautiful, you can never be short of choice with a wide variety on the menus. The staff are exceptional and always go above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel so welcome and at home in the Hotel. We had our Wedding here on the 29th of June 2018 it was Perfect in every way including the stunning Honeymoon suit that we will definitely book up again❤ my new husband is even planing to renew our wedding vows here further down tge line ❤ some of our family also stayed at the hotel and they loved it too and also speak very highly of the hotel and staff, we now look at the staff as extended family as they were so supportive to us right from our first ever visit to the hotel till today when we pop in for a meal. So if you are thinking of having your wedding, or any sort of celebration here I would say grab it with both hands ❤ I know you will Love it like we do.

I attended the Lynnhurst in celebration of the life of my brother in law who passed away a couple of weeks ago. The set up was good & the food provided covered all tastes. The staff were friendly & supported the event in a polite manner given the reason for us being there. We were not pushed to vicate the area & there was no undue haste to clear up. As usual there was food left over & the staff were happy to facilitate the consumption of this food. All in all a well supported event.

A steady place to visit. The rooms can vary in size and when it's chilly can feel a little cold. The ensuite in my room should have been a little larger to make it practical, or better laid out. The food was passable.

Two years ago we came along to the wedding day and booked our wedding… Fast forward to 22/3/18, our big day, it all went to plan, two years planning, meetings at the hotel, delivering all our stuff the day before, making sure everyone knew where everything was going, the staff couldn't have been more helpful with us, our day went without problems, all our guests complimented how beautiful the Lynnhurst Hotel is and they way it was laid out, the ceremony was perfect, the after drinks were most needed, all of us mixing in the cocktail bar and conservatory all relaxed whilst photos were being taken, even after our reception had ended it was great just to get to our room and relax. Alan, our Toast Master was fantastic and introduced the speeches, the staff serving the meals were very professional, so on behalf of my Husband Sandy and I we would like to say a huge thanks to Alan, Sharlene, kitchen staff, bar staff, waiters, waitresses, everyone involved in our big day, without all your help we couldn't have done it without you all.

We return time and time again. Never any different. The hotel, restaurant, staff and our wedding was extremely good. Good reviews all round.

Stayed on the 21st feb. A very stunning hotel. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We originally booked the Wallace suite but were offered the chance to upgrade to the Honeymoon suite, an offer not to refuse. The room was breath taking the Jacuzzi bath was brilliant and the Shower and Steem room certainly topped it off. Dinner was delicious And very good choices. Enjoyed a few drinks and cocktails too. Breakfast was great a nice various choice to choose from and our breakfast waiter that morning, Ian, was very friendly and informative about the place. Overall everything to departure was 5 star for us and we would most definetly like to visit again.

Attended for a wedding fair, venue was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also had a look at some rooms which were all very nice. Also tried some sample food which was very nice too.

Funnily enough I used to deliver newspapers here, the dog bit me more than once so should I give it good review? I attended wedding anniversary here service and food were excellent & the company even better.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff. Went there for a wedding reception and the place looked amazing. Rooms were clean and tidy and the location wasn't to far away from Glasgow city.

Nice environment with pleasant, helpful courteous staff. Had Christmas dinner which was average at best. I should have made more detailed enquiries but there isn't a lift, so if dining upstairs in the ballroom, wheelchair users needed to go outside to access the lower level for tea and coffee. I have gone to small coffee shops who have installed modified lifts for the less able, so find it rather strange that a busy hotel with a great reputation, especially as a wedding venue, hasn't updated it's access?

We thoroughly enjoyed our night there. The room was lovely, the free bottle of wine was nice. Dinner was good, maybe not enough of a dinner selection for the dinner, bed and breakfast deal though — you get a smaller menu I believe. Breakfast was great, apart from the Scottish breakfast missing haggis (just my preference though) I'd still highly recommend this place and will consider it again.

I was attending a Wedding Reception and the place looked excellent. Staff were all friendly behind the Bar and it when it came to us leaving we spent a bit of time getting things together and having another drink in one of the rooms. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were able to get a member of staff at the main reception to phone us a taxi. Thanks.

Was an evening guest at a wedding there, really lovely venue and set within beautiful gardens, the main receptionroom was set out lovely and didn't disappoint the bridal party what so ever. Would recommend as a venue and also a break away as it was very tranquil and well looked after.

Room was nice and spacious (family room). Only issue was access, but that's to be expected with an old house. Breakfast was nice. Evening meal was nothing special. Desert was the saving grace.

Good location on a quiet road 10 minutes from the motorway. Clean room with large TV. Friendly staff and excellent food. Unfortunately under the flight path of the airport but good double glazing pretty much masks the noise. Would stay here again.

We had the honeymoon suite as part of a deal and the room was amazing. The steamroom and sunken bath was a real pleasure. My wife also felt it was a nice surprise.

One of the most beautifully elegant places to go. Dinner and drinks with a great atmosphere. Attentive staff looking out for your wellbeing. The perfect location and that is why we chose it to be our wedding venue in 2019. Looking forward to our perfect day in the perfect place.

Have been to the Lynnhurst for a wedding reception and on another occasion for a family meal. The wedding reception was lovely, fantastic buffet and beautifully decorated room. The family meal was in the restaurant and it was really nice, great service and delicious food.

Nice restaurant, not overly confusing menu with a number of warm, hearty British meals. Would recommend.

I had the very good fortune to be invited to a wedding here on Sunday. Having lived in Johnsonte when I was younger I remebered the Lynnhurst well as a place where elderly relatives went or there were funerals, however, a great deal of effort (and one can assume money) has been spent in renovating the Lynnhurst to it's now glorious position. From the manicured gardens, to the water features, the wood burning fires in the lounge, the sumptious cocktail bar and the ample outside seating areas the lynnhurst is truly a wedding destination now in the Renfrewshire area.

Been going to the Lynnhurst hotel for dinner for a good few years. Service is always great and friendly, food impeccable and a great atmosphere. Have been to a wedding here too and can vouch for their function suite too. Beautiful gardens and a beautiful hotel. Real hidden gem in Johnstone this one.
