Good rooms, views over the Clyde are excellent, food was very good in restaurant, decent value for money.

Went for drinks last night and the bar is gorgeous with amazing views of the Clyde, bar staff super friendly and very pleasing on the eye, the Cocktails 🍹 were scrumptious, looking forward to going again.

Had a lovely time, only stayed one night but enjoyed it, a shout out to Lisa on reception who greeted us with a smile and was most helpful, enjoyed our meals to, we will be back,

Absolutely disgusting service this evening in the bar, we ordered drinks and left after 50minutes… There was no reason whatsoever why our drinks took so long! Also we were in the company of a gentleman with his son who got sick at the table, we weren't bothered in the slightest but the staff did very little to help, the father was so embarrassed, staff didn't help and the people at the next table offered us hand sanitiser! WTF? Whatever happened to helping someone out?

Yes, but with reservations. Nearly 1st in the restaurant at 4pm and ordered our food at 4:30 and nearly 2 hours later we are still waiting for our main meal. Drinks order is slow along with the food. Our starter eventually came and was lovely. But still waiting for our main meal despite asking about it, staff are trying to assist and placate customers but come on Hilton get the the finger out.

Staff lovely but if they are going to have an outside bit in bonnie Scotland then they need to provide blankets or at the very least have outdoor heaters. Staff really tried to help though, can't fault them xx.

Went to the beer garden this afternoon and it was excellent. Very good safety measures and friendly staff. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times over the years and always found it to be a fabulous base especially if attending an event. They have now guaranteed my custom and loyalty this weekend with all of their assistance.
We will most certainly be back.

Worst customer experience and service ever! Ruined a Christmas treat for three children and cost me a further £120 to get home. No duty of care or understanding. Only happy to take your money!

Nice modern hotel. Location is good if you want to be close to the theater. It's a cheap taxi to most stuff in town. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Room is slightly larger than European expectations but not huge. Bathroom had good shower. Would like to see power available on both sides of the bed rather than just the one side.

Nice property adjacent to Clyde river. Clean and well maintained. Buffet was great however there were not a lot of variations on different days for breakfast.

Great range of food/cocktails. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a seating area overlooking the Clyde. Not a beer garden but open to the elements and very comfortable.

Had a great day Saturday 28th June with my wife, sister in law and friends. My wife had won an Ultimate Vip Prize with the hotel and the first time we went 23rd June to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary was a little hit and miss with food and the afternoon as a whole. My wife was given another chance to come back and have proper VIP experience, I have to say that the food was fabulous & had we been served what we had yesterday my wife would not have contacted the hotel to say how upset she was. The hotel went above and beyond, the staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, our room was compact & bijou albeit with a creaking bed, we had a lovely nights stay in the city. We didn't have breakfast, for the simple reason that we live 15 mins away. We would recommend the hotel to everyone, even had Wigan Athletic Football Team staying the night. We will be back.

No wheelchair access at the main entrance unless you enter around the back. No concierge. The rooms are clean but extra tiny, nothing in the mini bar. Air con not on at night, so uncomfortable after a hot day. You cannot fit 2 suitcases comfortably in a twin room. Unless you want to block the floor. A standard suitcase will not fit in the wardrobe. The bathroom is extra small, claustrophobic. Reception asked for an extra money for a river view. (The Clyde river has rubbish in it). It's a 30 minute walk into the city. This is not a Hilton standard of a hotel and definitely not 4.2 stars.

Hotel nice and pleasant and ideal for the hydro. However on returning to the hotel after the gig we had attended the bar would not serve tea as the 'coffee machine had been closed for the evening, it was just after 23:00hours. They could not access any hot water! Seriously? This is such a poor excuse surely you can train staff to use a kettle. Not everyone wants to have alcohol at the bar. To rely on a machine to give you hot water for drinks is not best practice and let you down terribly.

Not my favourite hotel in Glasgow, I doubt I'll return. It is really close to the centre and SEC however so decent for staying to watch an event or visit an exhibition. I've stayed here twice and unfortunately wasn't impressed. Parking is tight and not what I'd call very secure, the spaces can fill up but other car parks are nearby. Check in usually takes a while but this is down to only having one member of staff in reception. The rooms are pleasant but no deadlocks are on the doors, you can see where they used to be. Breakfast is really nice here! After arriving late from a good days travelling on my second trip I attempted to call room service where I was on hold for so long I'd have to hang up from the wait. I waited just shy of 20 minutes before the phone was actually answered.

Update: the manager stopped me in reception to discuss my issues. He was very good about it. Didn't try to be defensive. They will be moving me to another room tomorrow. It's unfortunate they are full tonight. He also gave me a couple of vouchers for a free drink. I may not be overly pleased with the room but I am really impressed with the way the manager and staff have dealt with it. This hotels real asset is its staff. I hate my room! I request a double and have been allocated twin beds. Asked if I could be moved but they have overbooked doubles. I am rather tall so find it almost impossible to sleep in a singled bed.
Add to this the fact that the beds are as hard as rock. I mean, seriously there is no give in this mattress whatsoever.
My room also overlooks a really busy road so I either have fresh air and constant traffic noise or close the window and put up with how stuffy it is and still hear traffic noise. Also I noticed a couple of things under the bed, coin and a sweet wrapper, which indicates to me it wasn't cleaned properly and one of the skirting boards is really moldy. There is also something sticky that looks like jam or ketchup on the food menu. The only good thing about this hotel is the member of staff on reception who was apologetic. She is the reason for the two starts instead of one.
I'm due here for two nights but tempted to cancel my second as I hate this room so much.

Nice rooms, but the A/C in the room and the refrigerator do not get cool. We've stayed in 2 different rooms this weekend and the drinks we had were warm by morning and the room never cooled off. If they can get that corrected, this would be a 5 star rating. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. The hop on/hop off bus stops directly in front of the hotel which made that really easy to do.

Nice hotel, with great views of the squinty bridge. Car parking was plentiful and reasonably priced for so close to the center. Very quick walk to the train station at the exhibition center for heading into town. Bartenders were very friendly in the bar.

Nice Clean hotel, good bed, good shower. The usual coffee/tea in the room. Enjoyed the large breakfast buffet a lot, many choices in bread, cereals, warm breakfast available. Nice views on the River from the restaurant. Located very near the Secc, so easy and comfortable when working there.

I was really impressed with this hotel. It's a modern Hilton and it had some lovely characteristics and charm. The room was cosy and clean, and the breakfast was delicious, particular the fresh waffles.

Very last minute overnight stay last weekend. Given a decent sized room with good view overlooking the river. Room was very warm but fortunately had controllable AC! All amenities available and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the following morning. Will definitely be back!

I had a great welcome! Travelling from abroad, I found out that my adapter for mobile charger would not fit to my laptop! My query led to the Reception Staff finding a charger for my laptop given complementary to me for the 3 days of my stay! I enjoyed the food and so did my pals, all very important people in the UK, and the riverside portico!

Staff are ahead very nice on front desk. Issue with key cards not working was frustrating but this was a complete one of for me after a number of stays. Food in restaurant is decent, though I get impression the waiting staff aren't fitting on all cylinders after 8pm. Breakfast is a buffet and all the food is good… But the coffee machine is awful — better have instant in the room which days it all. Rooms are nice and clean with a good shower. Having onsite gym is great; I usually only stay 2 nights and it's perfect for that.

This was a surprise night away for my husbands birthday. I had never stayed at a Hilton before and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely and spotless too. There was good air con and heating that was easy to adjust. Bar staff were great all 3 made us feel welcome and were so friendly. The view from the bar out to the bridge was beautiful and the whole atmosphere in the hotel bar was so relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Really nice hotel. Clean and in good repair, with firm mattress and good sized rooms. The on-site restaurant is a little pricier than anticipated, and the portion sizes small, but the quality is very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel's in a perfect location for Glasgow International Airport, and the SEC. Definitely get value for money.

The River view the Room cleanliness location of the hotel simply perfect.
All staff were friendly
Even the employee I’d had a disagreement with last time was more than courteous.
Which I appreciated as he could have been given night off but no was there and ended the original complaint.
We will return at our next hydro concert the craft fridge that had been added to bar since my last visit was a welcome surprise.
Breakfast had to wait two minutes for fresh cooked bacon, sausage choice of 4 different eggs fresh cooked and delicious

The serving area was spotless no greasy trays with food lying in it and staff more than helpful even with restaurant full.
We have visited Hilton Gardens numerous times and had our reservations about returning but glad to say more than satisfied as is the guarantee given by The Hilton Group.

Wouldn't bother with the food breakfast was appalling ordered an omelette that took 30 minutes… arrived raw with mushrooms and cheese. Not what my husband asked for. Oh and the evening meal wasn't great either! Shower was tiny an although there were lots of settings only one worked. Only good thing was the comfy bed so if all you want is a good bed and a McDonald's nearby… book :-)

The hotel itself is fine, restaurant food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the rooms. The bathroom is small but is fine for one person. The biggest reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever experienced in a hotel. It was solid, like sleeping on a big boulder. Not what is expected from a Hilton.

Reception allowed slightly early access as room was ready. Spotless and apart from wardrobe light not operating everything was great. Quick check out. No hassle. Did not eat in hotel. Breakfast prices just put you off.

Perfect location if attending an event at the Hydro or SECC. Second time staying here and definitely recommend river view for an extra few pounds. Questioned additional charge on bill to find out the a bar drink had been charged to room that definitely wasn't ours, quickly rectified and money reimbursed. Breakfast was excellent, lady on the desk was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her. Will definitely stop here again!

Great place to say in the city without being too central. I can not praise all the staff enough. From front of house to waiting on staff to the housekeepers they were all so helpful and abliging. Top quality customer service. Made our stay a present one. Well done all.

I will be writing to them about my stay. I was cold and barely slep two hours all night. The bedding 'duvet' with no exaggeration could have been no more than half an inch thick. The room was cold. I'd been offered a small radiator earlier but the room wasn't that bad at that point and I would not have wanted to sleep with an electric radiator on all night. I was given two blankets. They were not blankets. They were fairly flimsy cheap fleeces that do not have insulating properties and whilst folded up over me. Did nothing. Had to layer my clothes, coat and spare pillows to create decent bedding and keep warm. I relayed this to desk staff. I was offered a taxi to the station. I politely refused as I needed fresh air. I was offered an upgrade if I ever returned. I'd paid £109 pounds and had an almost entirely sleepless and uncomfortable night and had no plans to return and now I would be wary of taking that risk. Shockingly this has happened before at a Hilton. I have gone right off the Hilton. It was an expensive treat for me. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Hilton. Sort out your heating. It did not work in my room. The housekeeper came and she could not get it to work either.

Modern high rise hotel on the edge of Glasgow city centre. Bright spacious foyer with open central atrium revealing the first floor foyer with balustrade. There is a good view down to the ground floor foyer. The function suites as would be expected are spacious. The quality of the function catering is very good. I cannot comment on the restaurants or bedrooms as I haven't used them.

Will definitely be back, amazing staff and service, nothing was too much trouble, delighted to receive an upgrade as it was my birthday (a big one) so got a river view room, also received complimentary breakfast and free parking for duration of our stay. Will most definitely be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful clean modern hotel. The staff were very friendly. Only one problem if you are having breakfast next day. We had a 10 minute wait to be seated, but it was a great selection on offer… situated very close to the Secc concert venue.

Nicely positioned for surrounding attractions and access to the City centre. Clean comfortable rooms and very helpful pleasant staff. Good breakfast and nice river views. Worth booking direct for the best rate available rather than booking sites, we were given a considerably reduced rate due to a block cancellation.

Travelled to Glasgow to see John Bishop at the SSE centre. The hotel was literally 5 min walk from the venue. Hotel staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Lovely position on the banks of the river Clyde.

Perfect location for SSE Hydro/SECC, lovely view of Finneston. Rooms well presented, all staff were excellent and very helpful. Restful night's sleep, and breakfast was top notch. Even had a very good cocktail at the end of the night! Would stay again without hesitation.

Staff were welcoming and friendly from the minute you entered. The place was busy but we were still served quickly. We had afternoon tea which was great, selection of cakes and sandwiches which were freshly made. Free car parking if using the restaurant or hotel.

We decided to stay here as we were going to the Hydro for a concert, so this seemed to be in a great location. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the front doors of the arena, so perfect for this. The hotel itself was lovely and bright, spacious and modern. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was also bright and decorated modernly, everything was cleaned well and tidy. The bathroom was adequate size for one person to be in at once, shower was very powerful which is great. The bed was far too hard for my liking, but that is a personal preference, if you make sure you are well tired before heading to bed, you should still find it comfy enough. We went to the bar area for drinks before heading out into Glasgow city centre for the day and the bar staff seemed a bit slow. I found my dad standing at the bar for a long while before being served, despite the lack of many other customers. The breakfast was an add-on at £10 a head. Which for a one-nights stay, is ok but this will obviously tally up if you stay for longer periods. This £10 allowed you an all you can eat cooked buffet breakfast and/or continental options. The food itself was great. Finally, check out was swift, no hassle and we were charged £5 for parking the car in the hotel's car park for one day. Not sure how this would be calculated for longer stays. Would definitely be back again, especially for when we are seeing a concert.

The quality of the food and service was fantastic. Afternoon tea for 2 consisted of 6 small finger sandwiches, 2 plain scones with jam and cream, 2 pieces of carrot cake and 2 small victoria sponges. You could have as much tea or coffee as you wanted. My only disappointment would be that the cream melted and gave us the impression that it was out of a can. It was my second time having afternoon tea and I would certainly go again.

Beautiful outside area for eating and drinking, that looks onto the River Clyde. Food was lovely with good service. Room is clean and tidy with all standard amenities. Not amazing, but no complaints.

Went for a meal before an event — excellent location for the Hydro and Clyde Auditorium. Food menu was good something suitable for everyone, and good wine selection. Ingredients were all good quality, very tasty meal. Service was good. Also looks like a nice location to sit and eat outside in warmer weather on the banks of the Clyde. Overall very nice way to start the evening.

The Hotel is situated adjacent to both the awesome Finnieston Crane and the SECC Hydro / complex, overlooking the River Clyde. Staff were very helpful at checking and throughout our stay. Our room on the 5 th floor enjoyed stunning views over the water. The room was very comfortable and well appointed with a good size bed, plenty of storage and complimentary still/sparkling water and coffee. There's also an iron. Although we did not eat there, the menu at the cafe had some reasonably priced food with some good Vegetarian options. We did however use the bar on our return from a gig at the SSE Hydro. Reasonably priced with Craft Beer available. Would recommend. Ideal for the Hydro and 15 minute walk, by the Clyde, into the City centre. Also just 3 minutes by train.

Nice rooms, free Wi-Fi, decent sized TV in the room which you can connect your phone to if you want to watch Netflix (remember to bring the right cable with you). Breakfast includes make your own waffles!

Expensive for what it is, you are paying for the location. Reception staff were quite rude. Be aware that if you are staying on a night when a big concert is on at the Hydro or the SECC the hotel carpark, reception and bar will be rammed full of people not staying at the hotel. So don't expect to be able to get any food or drink before closing time.

The room was nice but a bit small, the breakfasts could do with a bit more variety. Nice and close the the hydro. Be careful as they don't take the payment on a reservation.

Fantastic service. My friend was injured outside of the hotel premises but upon returning 'Lorna' duty manager stayed with him until he received medical treatment. She and her staff were excellent and we couldn't ask for more. However avoid the brandy in the bar. £22 for a double I bought a bottle of the same brand at morrisons for £21 and got 70cl Otherwise 10\10

Not a joyous experience A perfectly acceptable hotel — if the hotel is shooting for acceptable, they have hit the mark. There are other hotels in Glasgow which shoot higher than acceptable, for similar money.

Good location. My room was fine although my colleague did complain about a loud ticking in his room early in the morning.

Budget hotel but it's comfortable and good value.

Almost perfect. Friendly staff, great location, stylish decor, incredibly well-designed and comfortable rooms. One glitch — my ordered newspapers were delivered to the wrong floor. When I complained, they got them too me within 10 minutes AND made my parking gratis (instead of £5). Impressed? Very. Will I go back — definitely! And I've alrady recommended it to three people.

Staying 2 weeks at this hotel, the services were very good, however the restaurant has not so much menu.

My stay here was perfect. Location was quite convenient, right in the city centre. Staff was pleasant and helpful. My room was spacious, modern and clean. They seemed to take personal interest in their customers. They called me a taxi to take me to the train station in the morning. I would be delighted to stay here again.

The food was 5 star The staff was polite, and very helpful, they couldn't do enought for you, nothing was to much trouble. They were a credit to the Hotel. 10 star quatlity. Keep up the good work.
