Staff are absolutely brilliant joe can't do enough for you even brings you a coffee to the door when you get back from work what a star.

Clean, bright & welcoming. Ideally situated for West End. (2018 stay)

Home from home hotel apartment. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely hotel.

Everything was perfect the room was huge but the distance between city center and the hotel is far.

Stayed as a group of 7. Everything was fine until it came to bed time when the room next door decided to have a party until 5am. No matter how many times I asked them to be quiet they ignored it. Tried to contact the receptionist but he was to busy sleeping. Informed receptionist in the morning of the all night party & that two of our group paying £65 each was kept up all night. I asked them to provide some sort of financial compensation. 5months later & 3 follow up calls I’m still waiting. Absolutely shocking behaviour from the Ambassador Hotel Glasgow. If you want a nights sleep & the felling of being in a secure place while you sleep, go somewhere else.

Stayed 3 years ago and has been fully refurbished since. Close to city and set in a very nice area. Lovely walks along river. Lots of places to eat and drink within 5 minutes walk.

Average hotel for what you pay. We where on the top floor, the room had no air conditioning so was rather hot with the sun beating down all day. The bed was soft but no in a comfy way. The floor had a lean to to so naturally did the furniture so bed seemed to dip down in the top right. The shower was weak on power, but was clean and well looked after. We got lucky with street parking but could easily have ended up parking quite far away as there is no onsite parking. I'd probably return here if only I found no where else nearby to stay. It would not be first on my list.

Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Shower wasn't great (low pressure and not very hot). Staff was nice and helpful. No private parking but there was public parking available in the street in front of the hotel.

Nice small rooms with its own bath and hospitality services. The breakfast diversity is quite good if you are one of the first people in the morning. There's an order option for typical English breakfast such as different style eggs or oatmeal for example.

Very nice, well appointed, comfortable and great value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home.

Lovely hotel near the West end of Glasgow. Had one of the best cooked breakfast here!

Very nice little hotel in a useful but quiet location. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed and amenities with very pleasant rooms. Only criticism was that the hotel Wi-Fi didn't allow connection to the internet, otherwise all highly recommended.

I had a 1 bed room and it had been recently decorated to a very modern standard. The bathroom was very trendy and I was very surprised for the money we spent. Didn't eat here but the stay and the staff were excellent. I'll book here again next time we visit west end.

Very nice hotel in the quiet part of the West End. Very close to 2 subway stations and right by the River Kelvin and the botanical gardens. Rooms clean, well tended and with enough tea and coffee to float a boat. Loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Close to the Hunterian museum and the Kelvingrove too.

Great spot next to the river Clyde short walk to the town. Good rooms.

Boutique hotel with a warm personal service given by Gil and Angela who couldn't have made us more welcome. Great cooked breakfast. Position of the hotel was perfect for the West End and transport to the city centre. Parking available but a little tricky to get to. We will definitely stay again.

This hotel was fabulous. Our room was really spacious and the twin room our daughters stayed in was lovely too. The service was secondy to none, friendly and attentive from start to finish, we will definitely stay here again.

Had a private room with 2 friends and it was great. Had our own kitchen and restroom. It was a nice break from the usual hostels.

Quiet understated hotel with simply furnished rooms. Immaculate bedding, shower/toilet. Generous parking. Excellent city stop in really convenient area.

Well equipped, clean and modern. My single room was very small, however.

Very good value for money hotel. The rooms have recently been refurbished and although on the small side, but for the money I wouldnt expect a suite, very clean. The free parking and the Wi-Fi add to the value and Angela on recption was very helpful and welcoming upon arrival. I would definitely stay here again if in Glasgow on business.

Good place but a little bit noise.

Perfectly bearable. Shower in my room was a trickle though, and the Wi-Fi was rubbish.

Stayed at the a, bass ardor several times now and it never fails it impress. It's not the Hilton but its a very good B and B, very clean and staff are very helpfull.

Very comfortable stay at the Ambassador Hotel, myself and friends always use the McQuade Group when staying Glasgow. The staff are always friendly and make you feel at home.

Shower water pressure — terrible.

This hotel was a home far far away from home. I'm from Austin, TX and I went to Glasgow with no plans what-so ever! When I asked the cab driver to take me where he would take him own family he chose this ADORABLE hotel. They took me in with no warning and made me feel completely at ease! I stayed in another hotel after leaving Glasgow and it was no where near as comforting. I however am not the only one who feels this way. I met another woman who comes back every year because this place is the best home base you could ask for when traveling Scotland. I intend to revisit my second home soon. Thank you ambassador.
