Friendly staff. Very helpful. The girl on the desk even offered me her umbrella when I went looking for one on the off chance someone left one behind. Beds were so comfy. Room was nice and warm. Very reasonably priced too. Enjoyed our stay!

Good location, clean and spacious room. Can't comment on parking but there seemed to be space on the road outside. Would have liked a restaurant but very short walk to plenty of options. Overall a good stay.

Pretty good hotel overall. Great location, downtown Glasgow and within walking distance from restaurants, stores, entertainment, whatever. We were put in a room downstairs (basically the basement) with a lovely view of a demolition project of the next door building. There was also a weird smoky smell down there. I guess there was nothing they could do about that, though. Breakfast wasn't complimentary so we didn't get any. Overall a pretty good experience!

Decent hotel, no more. We made it a step on the first day of our tour of Scotland. We were travelling at a good price. The room was so affordable. The traditional breakfast was good but if you arrive at the end of the service, it does not stay at all and the food is barely lukewarm. The simple glazing isolates both very poorly from the cold and the noise.

We‘ve been visiting Glasgow in our honeymoons. It was great! We had such a great time. The hotel itself was okay. The room was a little tiny, but thats okay. Breakfast room was lovely. Continental breakfast was our favorit. Alot of foods and fruits, alongside morning TV which was interesting in order to plan the day trip (weather map). Employees all have been polite, smiling and friendly. Only the bathroom was way too small for two people.

Great location, nice common room, breakfast and room service available. Rooms are spacious and nice, but do not have independent climate control. Was also a bit expensive, but dog Friendly.

Rooms are big and with really classy decoration. Great location from a lot of bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Not far away from the bus to the airport. Really enjoyed my stay. Recommended :)

Stayed 3 nights in a executive room (room 206) completely worth the £30 upgrade from the double room we had booked. This hotel is in a great location — short walk to the centre with all the main shops, restaurants and bars and far enough to have a peaceful nights sleep.

The Hotel is in a very nice location. Shops, bars, clubs and restaurants are only 5-15 min to foot away. We had a small double room but for just a few days the accomodation is enough. Very cleaned room with a good equipment and also the staff is very helpful and really friendly. We would come again and recommend it!

Hotel is older, but the room was large enough and comfortable. The bathroom was very roomy, but showed it's age. There is no elevator/lift. Breakfast and internet were good.

We stayed here for a night on our way further north. The hotel is in a good location and nice restaurants and pubs aren't very far away. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. Breakfast was also good and there was a wide selection of foods. Would definitely stay again.

This is a comfortable, well appointed if small hotel. There's no restaurant or bar but drinks and food can be ordered through room service and there is a lounge to relax in on the ground floor. It used to be a dance studio and retains some nice old features (see photo). Great location and a good breakfast. My only gripe is the TV reception which is often patchy and sometimes non existent (2nd photo). Stayed before and will stay again. Clean and friendly.

Hotel centrally located, parallel road to the train station and financial district. Station about 70 meters away. Several train services, as well as to Edinburgh, take about 1 hour by train. Friendly and helpful staff. Reception 24 hours. Older house. En suite rooms. Hotel room laid out with carpet. Unfortunately, better photographed than in reality. Clean, daily towel change. Breakfast room clean and homely furnished. Breakfast with English breakfast, various pastries, fresh fruit. Recommended for a short stay.

Stayed for one night for a gig at the hydro. Reasonably priced, good central location despite the building site at our window. Female staff member we dealt with was very helpful. The bed however was one of the least comfortable I've ever slept on, and how you get pillows that hard I don't know. Didn't have the breakfast.

The location is just off the main road near nice and sleazy, which is a really cool bar with really cheap drinks. Also close to lots of good fast food places. A little hard to find. Rooms are massive — possibly the biggest room I've ever stayed in, and the beds are really comfy. Staff are also very nice. Overall, good hotel.

Parking was on the street in front, with paid parking resuming at 8a-sharp (5 minutes late, you get a £60 ticket by the city), so you'd better be out of the hotel by then. The rooms are smaller than a standard flat-sized bedroom, and the view consists of either the street (front) or demolished buildings akin to a war zone (back). Staff were not helpful even with the shower completely clogged. I would recommend an AirBnB over this any day of the week.

Clean but basic hotel. Backing onto derilict building (not hotels fault). Staff friendly but probably a bit overpriced for what it is.

I stayed at BW in Glasgow. It looks really dumpy on the outside but is deceiving. It is old but very homey. There is NO LIFT and the doorman carried my bag upstairs very cheerfully. I requested a single room and it was QUITE small. The bed was so hard I felt like I slept on a slab! Breakfast was good! OK for a few nights.

Very nice staff. Good breakfast (continental and hot (eggs, bacon, beans, etc) ). Needed to print a document and staff was more than helpful to print it out for me. Clean room and good shower. Really recommended.

Large room with unfortunately only a double bed and views of the wall. Very modern clean bathroom. Staff was relatively helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2017 in front of and behind the house is a construction site at the on Sundays from 8 am. Parking can be reduced in the Park house next door for £ 12 Per day. No Bar and no Restaurant. It's a pity. Similarly, there is no Elevator.!

I like Best Western and will always recommend them. Though not in the "very centre" of Glasgow it is in easy reach from the motorway and a 20 min walk or short taxi ride from either station. My own complaint, and it is not their fault, was I got a wonderful window view of a building site. And during my stay I got the impression it was an abandoned one so be careful on room allocation. I was at the back.

I'm giving this hotel a 3 stars just for the service from the ppl that work there. The price of the hotel was way too much and the furniture in the room needs to be updated! Chairs were so uncomfortable, the rugs corners were sticking up which tripped me up a couple times. No central air at all, room was warm (even though you could of gotten a fan from the front desk). For the price I paid, there should of been central air! View from the room was a pile of gravel, kept the blinds closed. No elevator, so if you are handicapped please do not use this hotel! I use a walking stick and it almost killed me going up and down the few steps to my room. Overall, friendly staff, but I will never stay there again.

Had a lovely stay at Best Western Glasgow City Hotel. Got upgraded from a single room to an executive double room which was a nice surprise. Bedroom and bathroom very clean, bedroom was especially spacious. Reception was very friendly and courteous.

20 minutes walking from bus station, near downtown and commercial streets full of stores and restaurants. Hotel's street is silent. Room is very nice, good space.

Beautiful Hotel right in the centre of Glasgow everything is within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and well decorated. Parts of the hotel have a Macintosh theme with there stained glass windows. Would definitely stay again.
