Great experience, lovely room, nice and clean. Nice chilled bottle of wine on arrival. Fully cooked breakfast in the morning was fantastic, although my fiancé had the pancakes…. They were more like crepes and were burnt so he went for the continental instead! x Hotel bar a bit over priced…. £34 for a bottle of Prosecco 😧

Stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago. This was one of the worst experiences in an IHG hotel I’ve ever had. From the room not being ready at check in time, to stained bed clothes to missing items in the room, the whole place was under staffed and poorly organised. The breakfast was of appalling quality and a special treat that had been paid for by my friend (champagne in my room for my birthday) never materialised despite being charged. To add insult to injury, my email of complaint hasn’t even been acknowledged. Very very disappointing.

Another fabulous stay at the Hotel Indigo Glasgow. Our 4th visit. The staff are wonderful every time. Nothing is too much trouble. Our favourite. Hoping it’s not as long between stays this time!

Beautiful hotel. Lovely helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Such a shame that the MPW restaurant has not reopened.

Remembering we are still in the midst of a pandemic, and staff's jobs are quite different to what they were, I think they are going out of ther way to make us feel comfortable.

Stayed for one night last week.
the food was not up to standard have had better in weatherspoons. Poached eggs where full of water and tasted of vinegar. Boots where left in the room and card details where sent for the boots to be posted. Have called several times and nothing has been done about them being sent. Spoke to receptionist now and was told that she doesn’t have a message about the boots. Basically she wasn’t interested and started shouting down the phone. I’m absolutely disgusted with the service I have received and will NOT be back! And would love my for my new boots to be posted back to me like they should have been a week ago.

I booked afternoon tea for me and my 2 friends for one of their birthdays (which was mentioned but not acknowledged by any staff which is always a nice touch) The service was terrible from arrival. My friend arrived early and was left standing with 2 bags as the table wasn't ready yet which is understandable however never offered her a seat or offered to take her jacket or put her bags somewhere. We then arrived and were shown to our table where we were given the food menu, we explained it was afternoon tea we were booked in for and were told our table wasn't set up properly for this. We were then asked if we wanted one of our bottles of fizz that was included on the deal which we welcomed however we had to ask for it 3 times so it eventually arrived about 15 mins later. My friend requested when booking that there was no fish sandwiches, both arrived with salmon sandwiches so had to send back. We then asked a further 3 times for our second bottle of fizz which eventually arrived. We were then asked if they could clear the table once we had finished as they had another booking which was fine but was then hit with a bill for £18 for a bottle of prosecco. We explained to the boy Emmit (who was very kind and friendly from the get go) that this was included on our deal. He then spoke to a manager who came over and explained the girl had brought over a bottle of prosecco that was not in the deal but that it was okay for us not to be charged for this.

Well dressed room with good facilities, very comfortable.

We had a really nice large bedroom with comfortable bed, large TV, delightful walk in rainfall shower. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch though a soft drink might be preferable to beer if you don't drink that. The food in restaurant was good too at dinner and breakfast but due to a shortage in staff, which they advised, service was very slow. We weren't in any rush though.

Friendly staff. Arrived early for check in and room wasn’t ready. The receptionist went out of her way to get our room ready earlier so we could go and relax. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Will definitely stay here again.

Service poor, food wasn’t anything exceptional, atmosphere but great either. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Hotel staff were all very professional, had an excellent over night stay, the food was was also brilliant and cooked to perfection (well done chefs) staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome, only let down was there were no hotel parking, and being woken up at 7-15 am by a truck from the hotel being loaded/unloaded with containers, would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed here in April for our mini moon, the staff were so lovely, we we t out shopping and when we came back they had left wee cakes in our room and we had very tasty cocktails in the bar, couldn’t fault it, will definitely go back xx.

I travel for work each week for 3 months. I've tried many hotel in the city centre. This is one of my favourites. The difference is the team running the hotel. Very friendly in a genuine way and don't force themselves upon you. Hotel clean to a very high standard and comfy beds, located in the heart of the city.

Accomodating and friendly staff, well appointed rooms with local charm. Great showers and towels (sometimes it's the little things). Very close to Central Station though slightly off the main streets to the City Centre. I would definitely return.

Hotel Indigo in Glasgow is one of the finest hotels we've EVER stayed in, and that's saying a lot. The property is ideally located, the amenities and great, and above all, the staff is the best you will ever encounter, especially Erin at the front desk. From the minute you step into this hotel, you know you will be treated right. As mentioned, Erin took tremendous care of our party from start to finish. We arrived early from our flight from the States (9:30AM local time), and within 10 minutes Erin had us in our spacious room. The room includes COMPLIMENTARY minibar items refreshed every day, and the use of a local Smartphone for international calls, Google Maps, and everything else. What other hotel room that you've ever stayed at includes THAT?!?! FOR FREE! The location was excellent, literally 2 minutes to walk to the City Centre. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and did I mention how GREAT the staff was? I cannot over-emphasize how well we were treated there. We got service, our bags held for free, and many recommendations for things to do and places to eat and drink. These folks absolutely embody the meaning of "Customer Service". If you ever find yourself looking for a hotel in Glasgow, just book the Indigo and be dome with it. You will not find a better place in almost any city you go to. This hotel ranks in my top 3 hotels I've ever stayed in internationally, and we've stayed in plenty!

The room wasn't spacious but it has enough space for it not being cramped. The bed and pillows were comfortable, I had good sleep. The bathroom was great. It has a big shower head and an LED lighting mirror. My only criticism is the poor lighting of the room. It's very dim.

As someone who has stayed in many different hotels in various different countries around the world, I declare this as the worst hotel (hotel indigo, Glasgow) I've ever been to. It was such a terrible stay as to : ❌ the staff were very moody and unfriendly. ❌ the Wi-Fi was very very slow, it also kept cutting so you have to connect it again every time. ❌the pillows were very bad quality. ❌the bed was very uncomfortable and hard. ❌very thin walls, you could hear everyone coming in and out, which caused late sleep, and early waking. ❌no baths, only showers. ❌very dark rooms, there's hardly any light in. ❌they force you to pay extra if you want to check out earlier (100£), so you'll get stuck unless you pay. ❌the rooms are not very spacious, and very gloomy, bad atmosphere overall. This was a very awful stay, so unless it's the last hotel on earth, I don't recommend it whatsoever. 0/10

Hotel Indigo, Waterloo, was fine, except the following things: 1. The room was small; 2. No bath, just shower 3. I was blocked in their elevator/lift for about one hour as the elevator was new but it seams that it had issues. Not a nice experience at all! No telefon number from the reception, no network inside the lift, no internet. I could only press the alarm button from the lift and contacted the company who was in charge of the service of the elevator but they were not helpful. I asked them to let the hotel reception know about me being blocked there but they did not call the reception, they did not sent an engineer to repair the lift etc. 4. We could not sleep well as the room was noisy, we could here people from the next door walking in their room, every time when someone walked we could feel a vibration in our room.

When you arrive to check in and are told your room will be ready shortly, this then changes to another 45 minutes and your still waiting for a room, meanwhile other people arrive after you and are giving rooms straight away or after only a short wait. Not great when your on a schedule and would like the opportunity to freshen up in your room before going out after a busy day.

This is such a fabulous hotel, so easy to get to from the airport and with central station just down the street you can travel around very easily. Rooms were lovely and clean with fabulous Aveda products, breakfast was delicious and Erin one of the receptionist we so happens to deal with on check in and check out was so friendly — a real treasure! We will definitely be back when we visit Glasgow again.

A really stylish, yet not pretentious or intimidating. The lobby, common spaces and rooms are beautifully designed with luxurious fabrlcs, wallpapers, bed linen and furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable (we slept so peacefully! ) Staff were really friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent (although if you paid for it separately, it might be not the best value for money). The bathroom and toiletries were also top notch. A good central location to explore the city of Glasgow.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel close to the railway station and the center. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Full breakfast. Can recommend the restaurant and the cocktails at the bar. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel, conveniently located. Room and bathroom were decent size if a little dark and as with many new hotels the air was stuffy and the A. C. Noisy. Breakfast was very good.

Room and staff (especially Amber on reception and Joanne during breakfasts) absolutely faultless top work.
Breakfast excellent with quality produce used, only let down was a surprisingly poor dinner, under cooked veg, poor quality salad products and both chicken and hake cooked till dry.
Surely not a standard that Marco Pierre would feel acceptable? Would recommend a stay over but u can eat much better elsewhere in the city.

Fantastic hotel in a quiet street. Rooms are very clean spacious very comfy beds. Rooms are also soundproof. Highly recommend. There is also a car park across the road which you get a discount for.

The hotel has a great modern look. The rooms are cleans and cosy with really nice furniture and finishing touches. However the hotel is soleless, inexperienced staff who do the basics but there is no personal service. I was standing at the bar in the morning to order a coffee for a good 10 minutes the reception staff seen me as well as the Breakfast staff and nobody offered help. Checking in takes a lot of effort. No late food service which mention I had to order a Take Away at 10pm as if I was in the Premier Inn.

Room was very modern but I found it a little cold for my liking even turning the thermostat as high as it would go. Excellent location though, just a minute walk from train station and shops. Excellent service from all the staff too.

Really smart and the staff were welcoming and helpful (including moving us to a new room in no time at all when there was a small problem with the lights in ours). The bar and restaurant are great and the food quality is excellent. Rooms are stylish and clean.

Very nice rooms, we stayed on a family room which had 2 Queen size beds. Free mini bar too. Only minor complaint was room was very warm at night and the air con wouldn't go down below 19 degrees, very minor though. Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay. Staff were really friendly. Only thing I would complain about is the service charge on your drinks at the bar. She did remove it after I questioned it, but it wasn't mentioned at time of purchase. I'm all for leaving a tip, bit it should be at the customers discretion.

Hotel itself was lovely, nice room and friendly staff. Breakfast was okay. Be aware of the very expensive overnight parking rates — other nearby hotels give guests a much bigger discount for exactly the same multistorey.

The employees are very friendly and the comforts were very good. The bed was especially bad because I could feel holes to use. The fan in the bathroom didn't work either. It Is in a very good place for a trip with a bus station outside and the train station very close. Just the bed and fan which were very bad.

Great hotel. Consistent across three recent stays. Rooms are lovely with great shower and Aveda toiletries. Nice towelling gowns and slippers. The staff are very pleasant and professional. Felix at Concierge is a great ambassador for the company, along with the beautiful Mabel at Reception. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and a warm welcome awaits. Highly recommend this hotel for being central and yet away form the city centre noise.

Absolutely lovely stay here. It's a good location as very central. The service was fabulous from a real wooden cot for our baby to a huge bed and lovely room. Highly recommend.

Hotel is lovely, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast, however was disappointing. The food was average and we seemed to have ruined our waitress's day by turning up!

Great friendly staff and comfortable, plush bedrooms. Very modern gym with treadmills, crosstrainers, spin bikes, free weights etc. I enjoyed the complimentary caramel wafer and cafetiere coffee in the room too. Excellent location for central Glasgow and 25% discount on the adjacent parking (bringing the price down to £15 per 24 hours). Great experience.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights in April, we loved this hotel couldn't fault a single thing. The location is ideal minutes from Glasgow central and we went out at night it's walking distance to centre and done some shopping at Fraser's and walking distance back with bags. The hotel room was beautiful and didn't hear any noise from outside and in corridors, for being so close to city centre the street is fairly quiet we couldn't believe it. Our breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so lovely and so helpful, we are looking forward to booking this hotel so many times in the future would highly recommend it and this was our first weekend break as a couple so will always remain an extra special place and that's why we will continue to visit Hotel Indigo. Absolutely fabulous.

Hotel was lovely to stay in I would definitely stay again and good price for what was included. I would NOT have breakfast again though. After complaining 2 times in the space of 20 minutes that the milk had gone off and the scrambled eggs were cold we were then given a full breakfast with a bite out of the black pudding and a hair on the plate. Would not recommend eating here that's for sure.

Have stayed at this hotel several times now, was in Glasgow for a concert this time. Great location as its right in the city centre. The rooms are spacious and very clean with complimentary toiletries, robes and snacks in a fridge. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The girl on reception (cant remember name but had long wavy brown hair) was very bubbly, always smiling and took a lot if interest in what our visit was for and even remembered the following day on checkout that we were at a concert and asked how it went. We were very impressed with her service. We had breakfast in the hotel and it's probably one of the better breakfasts I've had in hotels with a large choice available. The prom and haggis sausage was a favourite.

This is our family 'birthday treat' so we always stay at least 3 times a year, the staff are always extremely friendly, my daughter got to choose the room colour since it was her birthday! Always clean, comfortable and a great time had by all. Would definetly recommend.

Simply brilliant hotel. Rooms and food are fantastic. All the team are really friendly and especially Colin who helped us out of the hotel in our fancy dress outfits last night :) Definitely coming back.

Asked for quiet room, got an attached room. Overall nice hotel with good amenities, but one of the louder hotels as well (older construction perhaps? ) Good location.

We were a group of 25. Stayed for 7 nights and I only came across words of praise about the hotel and its services. Breakfast was exceptionally good but we never dined in the evenings.

The hotel is extremely well maintained. Although it is about one and a half years old, it looks new and everything is clean and in perfect condition. The service is good and the staff is polite. Would strongly recommend it.
