Great meal and great staff, Well recommend 👍👍

Lovely setting, spotlessly clean, staff are nice, the Guinness is good, there is a terrace overlooking the loch, easy access to the shore where I took my early morning walk before the full scottish breakfast, which is great — possibly the best haggis I have ever tasted. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of Argyll. Did I mention the haggis? :) WIll definitely return here.

This is a beautiful place to say, the staff are just amazing. We were in room 10 a very comfortable and clean room. Food was really good and plenty of it.
I would recommend staying here and would go and stay again.

We have just stayed at Lochnell, the staff were friendly, rooms good size, good food, nice to have room with a full view of the water and Connel Bridge, would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable, cosy beds and bedrooms, great views across the water, very nice staff, possibly the tastiest burger I've ever eaten — and I've eaten quite a few very tasty burgers!
Staying here this week for training, but I hope there are rooms available when we come back for a holiday.

We stayed here for one night and it was great, really friendly and welcoming staff, food really nice and good portion size. Breakfast included in the price and was really lovely, room was OK in need of a little update but did for us. Restaurant has a spectacular view too. Would definitely stay here again if in the area thank you to all for your lovely hospitality.

We had a fantastic night there. The owners and staff couldn’t have done more for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was lovely and all in all I think it’s fairly priced. I would definitely go back.

Extremely comfortable with wonderful views over the water. Susan is a charming hostess and went to a great deal of trouble to make us welcome and provided a magnificent packed breakfast/lunch when we had to leave very early in the morning. A great dinner with a very welcome bottle of wine. Would recommend to any traveller.

Visited here this evening and had a meal from the Seniors menu. Beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

This used to be a lovely restaurant in an idyllic location. Unfortunately the current owners appear to have no idea what customer service is all about. We have visited this restaurant a number of times over the past twenty years but will definitely not be visiting again.

I have never felt so unwelcome and insignificant. The service and respect from the management was totally disrespectful. I don't think anyone deserves to be spoken to like that for no reason. The owner was rude, bad tempered and eventually asked to leave the premises by his wife. The wife apologised for his behaviour however this wasn't sincere and we received no apology from him. His behaviour and attitude to customers was appalling.

Stayed for one night and won't use again unfortunately. The lounge bar smelt like an old peoples home and the mattress on the bed urgently needs replaced — it was like sleeping on a trampoline. The decor was very dated and needs upgraded. Breakfast was luke wArm. View to the car park. Whole hotel needs refurbished. Sorry for negative review but true.

1 of the the best friendliest place's we've stayed in the world…

This is our last day of a 4 night stay. We have a lovley comfortable room with a beautiful view overlooking the water. The Lochnell Arms is in a beautiful area on the waters edge. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food very nice. A lovley bar and lounge with log fire is very nice. Free Wi-Fi too. Had good days out and about sightseeing. Went to Isle of Mull. Morar Wite Sands. Mallaig. Going to Glencoe and Killin today and Luss on Loch Lomand today if we can fit it in. If not will call at Lock Lomand tomorrow on our way back to Newcastle. Had a great stay at The Lochnell Arms and would recommend a stay here.

Had a superb Carvery today after my little princesses christening. The food was top-notch and the service was impeccable. Very full and satisfied happy group of people The staff were very attentive right from Kirsty and the other girl who are doing the waitressing right through to Matty and the other boy providing the carvery. Definitely somewhere I would recommend.

Really cozy hotel, with a beautiful view of the loch. It was slow season when I got there, so the owner bumped me up to a balcony room! The owners were so welcoming, and the food was delicious! Would definitely stay again!

Really awesome place. The owner couldn't be more helpful. The view is really superb. Best breakfast yet. Spacious airy room. We love it and are staying 3 days. So very happy. The staff are all lovely. Happy snd know stuff. We're over from Australia snd in the 2 weeks we've been here this is no 1

Excellent stay at The Lochnell Arms Hotel. Ideal location adjacent to the Connel Bridge in Connel with lovely views across the entrance to Loch Etive and the Falls of Lora. Hotel is only a short drive from Oban where there is plenty to see and do. The Lochnell Arms provides a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent accommodation and a wide selection of lovely meals. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend The Lochnell Arms as an ideal place to base your visit to Oban and the surrounding area.

I only know the restaurant which is excellent, great food and reasonable prices. Had my first try of Haggis and loved it, never occurred to me the stuff could be so good.

Our room was lovely with a great view. The service and food at breakfast were fantastic. Hosts are very accomdating and made us packed lunches for our day-long excursions.
