Reviews of Ardanaiseig Hotel 4*
Fabulous remote hotel in beautiful countryside. Each room is unique with antiques all over the hotel. Such a friendly atmosphere with a great bar, whisky tour, and an even better restaurant with 5 star food I’m reluctant to highly recommend it as I don’t want to share this fabulous find with too many people.
Had a lovely weekend stay. Staff friendly and the lovely roaring fires were welcome on chilly days.

This hotel offers a unique experience of how it was to live in the 1900’s. The grounds are expansive and breathtaking, the food very good and the service very hospitable and caring. The only drawback is that the hotel felt tired and dusty and lacked upkeep as would be expected. Also upon entering the dining room I informed the waitress that I have a dairy allergy and she said she would make the necessary adjustments. Immediately after that she placed bread on the table and thanks to my instincts after one bite I immediately thought I detected cheese in the bread. I anxiously asked her and she said she did not know. In fact it took the staff over 15 minutes to return with an answer which was that there was cheese in the bread! Thankfully I had already run up to the room to take the necessary medicine. They apologised but did not compensate us at our check out which was surprising and I did not bother asking. If anyone is thinking of staying here and has an allergy know that they are not very conscious and ready to deal. Other than the dining room staff we were not approached by anyone more senior…
